To make sure you’re getting the most out of you VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and are set to broadcast in 4K (2160p) or Full HD (1080p). You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms try using the ‘Calibrated’ setting, for darker rooms try ‘Calibrated Dark’.     If you're intending to use Wi-Fi with this TV, forget it. I have to constantly unplug the TV to reset it.

    Purchased 8/11/19 and as of 10/3/19 (not even 60 days) not working at all! Black screen and have done everything possible to reset, etc. I looked online and this seems to be common with this brand. I’m electronically savvy and have researched and done everything hoping that I could get it working again. The only reason this rating is 1 Star is because it’s required!

    Too hard to use

    This is a one-star review simply because the interface for this TV is so cumbersome to use. It requires you to "cast" everything from your cellphone using a downloaded app. After messing with this for several days, I went back to the store and swapped it for a Samsung Smart TV. I am VERY happy with that!

      Hello MNviewer, the SmartCast input does have limited applications installed and you cannot add extra apps to the input. We are continuously evaluating new applications for possible addition to this screen. In the meantime you can cast any of the thousands of Chromecast enabled applications to the TV from any mobile device on your network. VIZIO

      Hello ScottC, thank you for your feedback it is appreciated. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you are looking for. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition signal. This means making sure that you're source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture setting that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room try Calibrated Dark. If you have any questions please contact our customer service at 877-878-4946. VIZIO

    Poor Quality TV

    I bought the TV last September 26, 2018. Just after 2 weeks of using it, I encountered a problem on the front panel. There's a thick white vertical line!!! I'm so disappointed that I cannot exchange it to BestBuy. Will not buy Vizio TV again!

    Extremely fragile

    I paid over $200 for this tv and only had it for about a week when it had tipped from maybe 5 inches off the floor and broke in 2 places. I tried to exchange it at Best Buy where I had bought it and they told me they would not. I am out $200. If you buy this tv, be extremely careful with it. I would have never bought it if I had known how fragile it was.

    I've lots of issues with this t.v. since purchased in 2019. sometimes it won't stream. sometimes it plays sound but the t.v. is black. sometimes it plays the image but no sound. definitely would never purchase again. Issues with the sound. Definitely a disappointment.

    It's not expensive, I realize. But everything about this television is terrible. The picture quality is bad. The UI is bad. It's slow as hell to load everything. I just bought it as a corner tv for the office but if I had plenty of money, I'd just leave it on the curb.

    TV turns itself on! Went through Vizio’s “to do” list which tells me they know about the problem! Couldn’t remedy the problem so I took it back to BB and had to be a snuck to get the TV exchanged! I’ll never buy another Vizio, they should be ashamed of themselves.

    TV died after 19 months

    The TV died after 19 months which of course is after the warranty was up. When it did work sometimes the picture was jerky. It also locked up more than once where it would not turn on until I unplugged and plugged it back in. I will never buy a Visio TV again, they are not a quality product.

    The tv keeps turning off every day several times I had to contact vicio directly and after a third contact they will send a new tv in 7 days The biggest problem is my customer I can say that never had a problem like this

    Slow, laggy, freezes alot. Cant play netflix without locking up, have to soft reset tv multiple times an day now. Definitely one of the worst vizio products I've ever owned. Bought for an child's room and after an year its unusable due to the slowness of the Smart tv.

    slow and crashes

    The smart capabilities are slow and the apps crash constantly. The display also doesnt look as nice as it does in the store. It looked very bad ( I have very good internet connection, that wasnt the problem). Not good, even wth the price. returned this TV.
