    Good Price, but be aware...

    The price for this TV is okay, but we found a couple things we did not like: 1) The remote response was very slow. At first, we thought it was our wi-fi connection, but a later purchase of a different brand proved that was not the case. The remote also has a very flimsy feel. 2) You cannot download any apps to this TV. It comes preloaded with Netflix, Hulu, YouTube TV, and a lot more apps which will keep most users satisfied. However, it does not have Sling or Fubo. As time goes on, there will probably be new apps on the market. You won't be able to enjoy them. This is apparently the case with all Vizio models. What made this more annoying was that I spent 30 minutes on chat thru BBY's website with a tech rep insisting I just needed to go to the App menu and search for the app store icon. There is no app store, because this brand does not allow you add apps. So this TV is okay if you are sure you'll never want to add any other app. Given how fast technology changes, that could be frustrating.

    OK TV for the price

    I needed an inexpensive HD-TV for a bedroom, and this one was about the right size, and lightweight/small enough to easily move. I don’t really need the smart features, and with only a pretty bare-bones wi-fi speeds and no ethernet ports in the room, wouldn’t be able to do much streaming anyways. Had to switch the picture mode from auto, since it over-compresses digital signals that are in 4:3, i.e. they already have black bars on the sides, but the TV doesn’t recognize that, adds its own set of bars, and you end up with vertical stretch. Switching to standard or widescreen mode fixes that, though. While I liked other brands I had previously purchased better, this one is economical, and the image quality overall is really not bad, at least when you have hi-def inputs, like digital channels, or blu-ray.

    Limited functionality and staff

    I was very excited to bring home my TV. I went in specifically looking for 1080p and I told the Best Buy employee that I stream Direct TV Now and asked if I could do that through the TV directly and was told yes. It is not so. I called Vizio to set everything up for the remote and the control for my phone. They have dozens of platforms available... including Direct TV, but not Direct TV now which makes no sense at all. And the very condescending sounding rep at Vizio customer service sounded like Paris Hilton's talking double. I was furious. So now I have a Roku for a top of the line TV. It works well, though I can't speak to the chromecast it comes with because I can't use it, but other than that its decent.

    It's all about the sound

    Overall good tv. Picture quality is nice,it's light weight. Easy to set up and easy to add other devices. Sound is lacking in quality and clarity. Basically, the sound sucks. Went out and bought a Bose soundbar to make up the difference. Soundbar cost more than the tv. This is a bedroom tv so no big deal. I have to rate this so I would like to give it a so-so but I only have 2 choices. Picture quality is good and worth it, sound is bad and need a soundbar to make up the difference. If you buy this tv keep in mind you will need a soundbar. In my humble opinion.

    The picture is good for 1080p with some adjustments. The sound is terrible. I would suggest a mini soundbar for that fix. Now the bigger issue is with the Chromecast built in. I have 2nd gen Chromecast for my livingroom TV that works great. But this built-in one is sometimes a dud where it will freeze your TV and there will be no response from the app or the remote. So the only solution to making the TV work again is to unplug the TV for 30 seconds and everything will start working again. I think I made bad purchase.

    Good TV for teen

    This was a gift for a teen. They're using it for gaming and for watching movies. Compatible with everything they have and they love the SmartTV features. They would probably give it 5 stars. 3-stars from me because I feel it is an average TV for an average price. It is great for what it is. There's nothing wrong with it. If it were the best TV money can buy, with outstanding features, and phenomenal picture quality... then I would give it 5 stars. But this was a gift for a young teen and they are thrilled to call it their own.

    Just ok for the price

    I purchased this tv because I had bought one for myself the previous year and was happy with the quality. This version isn’t as good. I’m not sure if it’s the software or what but there are many issues with this product. The sound is terrible if it’s louder than normal speaking decibels. The tv turns on in max zoomed in mode every time. This is extremely annoying. Issues with apps are constant. Wish Inknew this sooner because I would have returned it. I rarely use this particular tv. The quality is inferior to its earlier version.

    I never intended to buy this generation of tv. I was fine with the older type since there was a video input this one lacks. Very disappointing. I've got a lot of shows I used to record on a disc I can't anymore. It seems every year we're paying more and more for stuff we used to get for free back then. I do like Sony's Crackle, but it doesn't connect all the time. Pluto tv seems to have infrequent digital issues, the screen keeps freezing. Maybe that's why it's free... for now.

    My Vizio 32 inch 1080p smart tv

    I'm giving this 3 stars mostly because I purchased this 32" Vizio open box. So I got the tv home, plugged in the unit, tried to use the remote to program the tv, but the remote control didn't work, changed the batteries still didn't work. So I returned the remote to the Store I bought it in. They changed out the TV's remote immediately. Took it home, and the TV programmed perfectly. My Vizio 32" smart TV 1080p is wonderful.

    Bought this TV to replace 26 inch VIZIO bedroom TV... Picture is outstanding..sound good...Horrible tiny remote...UI,menus and channel info bars not as good as my old VIZIO (so much for brand loyalty!) ..was under the impression that I could stream my Xfinity service to this TV...(WRONG!) ...kept this TV only because of its low price and good picture..will replace as soon as I find something better in the 32 inch class

    Sent the hubby to get a smart tv pre loaded with ROKU. He came back with this...it’s just ok. You cannot add the ROKU app (I contacted customer service). There are preloaded apps- so it might work for some. It was recommended by staff at Best Buy. It just wasn’t what I sent my husband after...we manually added a ROKU and that is working but defeats purpose of a smart tv.

    Good picture for the price

    Television has a good, clear, crisp, picture. Easy set up, and easy to handle. Remote is a bit convoluted (especially for shut off time), and it would be handy to have it backlit. Non-remote function buttons are located in a precarious position on the rear of the TV, that could be difficult to find if TV is located towards a wall.

    The wife and I chose this TV due to the 1080p resolution, 120 hz refresh, and smart tv features. These features lived up to our expectations. However we just could not adjust the picture to our liking. For the price point it’s a good tv. I give this tv 3 stars because it does what it describes, but we ultimately chose another brand .

First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition or 4K signal. This means making sure that you're source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD or 4K, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD or 4K picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture setting that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room try Calibrated Dark. VIZIO

    Sound bar required

    The picture is fine on the Visio 32” Class- LED - D Series -1080p - Smart HDTV, but I need to set the volume at 60 or more before I’m consistently able to understand conversation with just the internal speaker. The music and sound effects overpower dialogue. A sound bar with a central speaker (3.0) is recommended.

      Hello LiLi, you may prefer the audio by turning off the Surround Sound function in the audio menu. This will turn off the simulated surround function that the television performs and may allow you to hear the dialogue more easily. VIZIO

    I should have paid attention...this tv only has 1 MIDI connection. I bought it for my art studio, so its usable, but cant use my fire wire. Also can not connect to netflix, called customer service and they couldnt help me either. I went online and many other were having the same issue.

    Sound quality is not great. However, the picture is very nice. Crisp and clear picture with vibrant colors. Now I completely understand why people suggested getting a soundbar if you purchased this TV. So basically you have yourself a $300 TV and if you must get a soundbar why not get a $300 TV to begin with??

    saved monie, sacrificed quality. Took back and exchanged for a $60 higher priced brand which I had considered in the first place. Now happy and the difference is remarkably better. Best Buy, as always, was very helpful in allowing me to exchange the the Vizio brand.

    Picture quality is decent but seems dark even on Vivid. Sound quality is good but very weak. Sound has to be at 28-30. The inexpensive TV that was replaced had much stronger - but less quality - than this one. I wish I had popped the additional 50 Dollars for the Samsung.

    Fits nicely inside my existing TV cabinet. This was a requirement. Sound quality is not great but OK. Remote needs larger marking to make it easier to read especially for older folks. Does all that we need plus adds internet capability and 1080 HD.

    vizio visually to watch on is great. but the app screen is a mess. no editing to make it easier to use for your favorite apps. the remote to tv lags a few seconds its very noticeable. the remote has too much going on for the use of it.
