Love the VIZIO 40" TV purchased to use in my bedroom

Wish I would’ve gone with a different brand! Disconnects every once in a while from the internet/cable & have to reconnect.

I brought this tv for my mom as a birthday present she’s enjoying it fit perfectly in her bedroom…The picture is so clean as my mom likes to watch all these old movies…and the price is very affordable….

In two months, it’ll have been one year since we purchased this TV. It’s in our guestroom and get some use but not a lot. It started lagging a few months ago and now it’s almost unusable. Pulling some thing up like Netflix takes forever even with our exceptionally high-speed Internet. Now the TV freezes on particular screens. I’ve already reset it once to the factory settings and that did not help. Overall I would not buy it again.

the screen definition and sound are awesome, very user friendly, but it takes too long to turn on.

The tv speaker are not good. Not a trace of a stereo sound. It sounds like a broken glass. But for the reasonable price of the tv, we could live with it

Love the clarity and picture quality of this tv. It’s a perfect size for my bedroom. Added a Vizio sound bar, with the optical cable simply because I wanted a little more bass than what the audio offered.

I replaced my old LG television with the Vizio and was surprised how Clear the picture is. It was also very easy to setup. Besides the regular streaming apps, Vizio has it's own free movie app installed.

Love this brand TV. We had one prior which we had for a number of years. We loved the picture quality of that one and decided to purchase the same brand again.Got it at a great price and we are not disappointed.

Perfect TV for a bedroom. Technology embedded make it the no brainer choice. Color/sound etc. all great. Mounted in a dorm room for the win. You can't be at the interface.

Purchased this unit to hang in my garage gym, streaming from my Norditrack iFit units while following the video exercise programs. Lightweight, easy to hang. I like that it has both the Chromecast and Airplay built-in, perfect for my specific gym needs. Given the cost and for what I use it with, I'm pleased. 1080p is becoming a dime-a-dozen anymore, but if you're looking for something that isn't your "primary" or don't care about having the latest 4k (or higher) picture, it'll work just fine.

I don't like it. To be fair, this is an open box deal and I got it for like $80 or something like that, and to be even more fair, this is my 2nd TV that sits to the left of my main 75" TV and I have never really spent the time to find out exactly what the deal is with this TV, but from what I can tell, I don't like it. The UI is annoying and it seems like it is hard to escape the branded content they are promoting. It takes a bit of doing to bypass promotional screens and get where you want to go. Also, I often use the antenna on this TV, and going to live TV and then getting it tuned to a channel can be annoying. The grid doesn't populate and you have to manually type in the channel numbers but then, after a little while the grid finally populates and all the channels are there. Also, the speakers seem terrible. I've never noticed any other TV having bad speakers except for this one.
