Nice TV for the price.

Two criticisms- we bought this to replace an old Visio TV, mounted to the wall. The power cord is very short, and doesn’t make it to the electrical outlet from through the wall. Also, there are too few hdmi ports.

Vizio 40" Review

I am using an antenna for local stations and occasionally the volume will cut out of the stations. I do wish the feet were spread out front to back a little farther giving a little peace of mind of not being easy to tip over. Great picture quality.

It’s Worth the Purchase!!!

It’s crystal clear 1080p display is by far amazing. I recently found out that this vizio series is also a gaming enhanced TV. For any gamer out there, finding a TV that has great graphics & high performance stats for your gaming experience is a dream come true. The only problem I have with the TV is it’s poor connection to stay hooked to WIFI. Since the TV is wifi enabled, it sometimes drops from my router & becomes glitchy. Other than that I love the new D-series vizio.

I live in my grandmother's basement

Has a great picture and sounds great. Has 41 apps that I don't need and 4 that I do. every time the power goes out I get a new group of apps. So living in my grandmother's basement is challenging at best, but she's a good cook and can't hear very good so she doesn't mind heavy metal music. So I think it will be ok for now.
