Great Budget TV for Gamers
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the first TV I've bought since my 32inch 1080p Westinghouse (2012). Large noticeable difference in color, 4k media looks wonderful, and my Xbox oneS can output at 2180p which is really nice. This TV has chromecast built in so streaming apps like Twitch, YouTube, or Mixer are really easy to do from my phone. There is a section where you can browse channels through wifi and watch some anime, sports show, and news. This is a great TV for those looking for an upgrade that wont break their pockets

Great picture and smart tv capabilities
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought two of these TVs to go in my guest bedrooms. Both are in an armoire so unfortunately that limited me to 40 inches. I wanted 4K and this was the only option at the time for 4K. The setup was easy and it looks good. The remote is easy to use and perfect for a guest room. I like how the apps are available so I don’t have to use my AppleTVs for accessing YouTubeTV, Netflix, Disney+, etc. The only thing I wish it had was AppleTV app, but not a deal breaker for my intended use. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a 40” TV.

Great TV Value
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this open-box. What wasn't apparent was that the remote and stand were not included. That was the only disappointment with the purchase. However, a quick look on Amazon and I was able to find a knockoff that does the trick. As for the TV itself, the picture is really solid. Vizio's done a good job of providing apps from their partners in addition to having a list of channels already included for free. Intuitive configuration options on top of it all. I'd consider another Vizio in the future if similar to this one.

Nice small 4K TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a very small space for a TV in the built-in cabinets in my family room. It was originally designed for an old NTSC TV. I had an old 40" Samsung LED TV that would no longer run Netflix. This Vizio has very small borders and does fit nicely in my available space. However the display is not nearly as bright as the old Samsung. I have to keep the blinds closed on the windows during the day to watch TV. The remote is also very poor. Fortunately I have a universal remote that I use to control the TV, cable box and BluRay player.

Great picture quality, won't work with Sling
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, the picture, price, and overall quality is great. I was told by the salesman before i purchased it that it would work with Sling. When i pointed out that the Sling logo was not on the package i was assured they couldn't print all the logos on the box. When i got home to set it up i found out otherwise. The Sling app icon was not there. Hulu is there. Youtube TV app is there. Netflix is there. Hundreds of apps, but no Sling. I read the manual. On one page, the instructions specifically call out Sling as not being able to load from the app store... BUT, you can cast Sling from my phone or tablet. On another page, i was told that yes, you can download the Sling app, but never was able to. I didn't buy the product to use a work around to get my live TV provider to work. And after multiple hours of research, i just gave up. Works great with over the air, Netflix, and other apps, but i was greatly disappointed that i was misled on the Sling app availability.

TV VIZIO - 40" Class - LED - V-Series - 2160p -
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The VIZIO - 40" Class - LED - V-Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR is a nice size TV. Picture is great for the 200 dollar range for a TV. Works well in the small space we wanted to place it. Sound (as always on pretty much all TVs now) is a bit flat, but I figured that was going to be the case before buying. The smart TV functions work well (as with the 2 other Vizio TVs that are in the house). I would recommend for a smaller space. If you plan on using it in a larger room, do yourself a favor and pick up a sound bar 100 to 300 range.

Good enough
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this in December and just hooked up WiFi in order to utilize smart tv features (August). 8 mos of watching movies and my evaluation is that the sound is good enough (recommend getting companion sound bar though), especially if your hearing is not top notch, picture quality is excellent ( for price) colors are rich not too bright, or brassy. Operating the remote is intuitive and so is the smart tv menu ( I didn’t even have to call my kids to help set it up!) very pleased with this Vizio product, it was a good value for money.

Great picture
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife won’t part with a cabinet in basement so had to find a 40 inch tv to fit. Wow can’t imagine a better choice than this Vizio . Great picture and easy to access Netflix, Prime and YouTube. Also quickly hooked up to existing Sony sound system for watching movies. Sound through the tv is fine for things like golf- which is awesome to watch on this tv. Detail and color is impressive for the price. I find myself sneaking down to watch on this tv instead of 55 inch LG 1080p in family room. It was hard to find in stock and now I know why!

Happy customer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been in stores and restaurants and I've seen many Vizio TVs mounted on the wall displaying a beautiful picture so I decided Vizio would be my next purchase. I'm so happy with this purchase. The tv was easy to setup and already comes with many of the most popular apps downloaded and accessible to many free channels. The tv is light weight and the sound is good and clear. A nice fit for my kids bedroom. For the price I would recommend this tv to anyone.

Wonderful for console gaming
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If your console supports 4k this is the tv for you. 4k tvs don't get any cheaper than this and if your gaming on a console you probably don't want to break the bank buying a tv. For those worried of the picture quality it looks fine it is better than any 1080p tv. Its not the best but you shouldn't expect the best at this low of price range. Over all the value is very good for how big and how good the tv looks and is a perfect upgrade for those still with a 1080p TV that don't want to spend a lot of money

Powerhouse Quality at Value Pricing!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We live in different times. Nowadays, we want to only spend $200 - but expect our products to perform like we spent $1,000. The truth is, this product comes pretty darn close - but at value pricing. For around $200, you get amazing Ultra HD image quality (when 4K programming is available) along with all the built-in streaming apps we could want. Size is perfect for master bedrooms and dens - and the quality is pretty remarkable for the price. I got this model because of the 2160p image and built-in apps. A solid choice!

First TV I bought in 10+ years - works well
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV cost 1/5, weighs less than 1/3 and has a better picture than the one it replaced that was ~15 years old. Picture quality is excellent, sound good, setup was simple and the price was very good. I haven't yet used the various smart features, nor the 4k, so I can't speak to that.

Awesome TV for the price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this TV for about a month now in my college dorm room. I haven't had any technical issues at all. The screen is bright, colorful, and crisp. Very true to my 4k HD expectations. It has all the popular streaming apps like YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Prime Video, and more. It also has many many other streaming apps and something called "watchfree" which is basically like cable without the monthly cost of cable. I don't think you can get live sports on there, I haven't really checked because I'm not a fan on sports myself. But it'll play movies and TV shows on watchfree. The built in audio is good quality the only gripe I have with it is that the volume is inconsistent between streaming apps but I'm not sure if that's the TV's fault. I connected my Nintendo switch to it with no issues. I also have an Amazon alexa which I connected to it for voice control. You can't say "alexa, play criminal minds on Netflix on TV" unfortunately but she can open up streaming apps, turn on and off the TV, and change the volume (I'm sure she can do more but this is what I've personally done so far). Overall I'm really happy with this purchase, the 40" is the perfect size for a dorm room or apartment and it comes with the stand and remote. I would highly reccomend to anyone looking for an inexpensive 4k HD smart TV.

Solid!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this television to replace an older 37 inch Vizio in our bedroom. The picture is great and Smartcast is excellent. I have discovered that Smartcast works better than either Roku or Amazon Fire TV devices for all of our streaming including YouTube TV which is our live television. Very satisfied.

Nice second TV for the price
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a new TV for the bedroom and didn't want to spend too much. Easy to set up both physically and digitally and comes with a great selection of apps. Remote is a little clunky and as with all standard LED TVs, the picture is badly washed out when viewed at an angle/off center (picture is great when viewed head on/dead center). Sound is decent with onboard speakers, but a basic sound bar w/subwoofer is the way to go.

Very pleased with this Visio
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's really inconceivable that you can get a tv this good for this price. I am very pleased with how well this tv works for my needs. I'm not a high level user as this tv was to be used as "just a bedroom tv". No gaming, computer monitor, etc. In fact it's setup for a firestick and nothing else. Work well for me.

Underwhelming
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not sure why this TV is getting such wonderful reviews, I'm not quite as impressed. I've had mine for over a year now, and I will say that it has a really good picture, for a TV under $300. But, the Vizio OS is absolute trash. So bad that I'll never buy another Vizio again. Twice since I've had this, I've had to do a factory reset, which is always a pain because you have to go through the whole initial set up, all over again, waiting a half hour for it to program channels and update itself. At least once a week, usually more, I'll get the spinning wheel of death while watching something on YouTube, Peacock or Netflix because it's lost wifi connectivity. I am set up wireless, as this is in my bedroom, but my very nice, and fast, router is only about 20 feet away, tops, with 300+ mb/s speed, and this is the only device I ever have issues with. I've experienced several issues where the "Smart Cast" hub will just not load at all. No really that impressed. I've owned Sony, more recently bought an LG, and also currently have a Toshiba, and all of them work far better than this Vizio model.

Easy to use for someone not tech savvy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband and I purchased this TV for our daughter when she moved into her first apartment. We could tell right away it was easy to use and had a great picture. When we returned home after getting her settled we stopped at Best Buy and picked up the exact TV for our vacation home. We absolutely love it. It is so easy to access all the special channels and we are still learning what all we can watch. It is a great TV for a great price!
