First off, I didn't buy this as a TV. I got it for a computer monitor when this whole WFH thing started. As a monitor, it's great and a fraction of the cost of a "monitor" of similar size, so I have really enjoyed using it as such. I work as a system administrator, so I have multiple windows open simultaneously, and the sheer size of this is great. The 4k aspect makes for great pixelation, even up close. That said, it is also a TV. For the first two months I owned it, there was a bug in the Vizio software that would not let it work for the Watchfree or the Smartcast features. I would have sent it back, except that this was a feature I used only rarely. Vizio worked out their problem and it was fixed with a system update, It's a great picture and the sound is good and I got it for only $229, so I really got a lot for my money.

Easy to set up - Out of the box to watching tv in less than 10 minutes! Great picture and sound. Loving my new VIZIO (not my 1st and won’t be my last VIZIO product)!!

Vizio is as good a product as any. Great picture quality and features. Easy to make color adjustments and other adjustments for one's viewing preferences. There are large varieties of smart tv lineups to enjoy.

the price of the television is a steal for a 4K smart TV of this size the 2160 P resolution is lifelike when watching programs. I have had Vizio TV's in the past and found them to be of high quality. I would recommend this TV to anyone looking for a new TV.

This TV was bought for my dining room. It replaced a 33 year old console SD TV. Needless to say it's a big improvement not a good comparison. I use it with a TiVo Bolt. A couple of things worth mentioning; I like the Free stuff button. It launches free streaming channels. The channels are set up like a cable box with a guide. Navigate it by entering a channel number or channel up/down. Better than just a bunch of tiles one for each channel. Another detail is the picture settings have to be tweaked to get the color right. That is why I took a star away and gave it 4 stars. The audio isn't that great, it's a flat panel TV so that is to be expected. There's a few options for connecting it to a better sound system such as a sound bar or A/V receiver.

The picture and sound quality are great! I enjoy having apps like YouTube, Netflix, Hulu and Disney Plus available directly from the onscreen menu. It was super simple to set up. I’m enjoying this 40” Vizio in my small TV room.

We recently got this Vizio per recommendation of the salesman in the store. He explained all details which we were not familiar, and helped us to find the best TV for our needs. TV is the right size, nice colors, easy to set up. Worth the money!

The setup was super easy and the picture quality is so good. I spend even more time in my room watching shows on Netflix and playing video games because of the quality. I definitely recommend this brand to anyone tv shopping.

Needed a new TV for my bedroom. Done a lot of research on different brands. Decided on this Vizio 40" TV. Good size for a bedroom. Happy with my purchase. Great picture and sound.

Replaced a 12 year old LCD with this VIZIO. I am extremely happy. A lot of TV for a very reasonable price. Wish it had a pedestal stand but that is just a matter of preference. No regrets. I now have 2 VIZIO TVs and like them very much.

I bought this for my daughter to use in her college apartment bedroom. It is amazing to me that you can buy a 4k TV with built in wifi and apps for a little more than a couple hundred bucks. The picture was great and it was easy to set up.

I have found this tv does more then I expected! I’m a video gamer and heavy movie watcher the picture quality is amazing and the settings are easy to configure between the two settings. Once set click and good to go !!!

We’ve had Vizio TVs for several years and have never had a bad experience. Our kids needed TVs for their rooms and this was a no-brainer. The picture is sharp and being Smart TVs, it makes it simple to watch Netflix, Hulu, and others.

There is no way to touch this value for a 40" 4K computer monitor, that also delivers a Smart TV for your office space! Nothing beats adding the equivalent of FOUR 1920x1080 monitors' worth of screen real estate.

Very good picture quality. Easy to use smart TV with all the Apple and Android features built in. Good power efficiency. Great for a dark to brightly lit room, good ambient sensor.

I bought this as an open item. It did not come with a remote..I bought a universal remote and it was easy to set up! Picture is beautiful! And the smart cast is a great feature.

The vibrant colors make viewing 4K content enjoyable. The streaming service isn’t dedicated like a Roku, fire stick or google. The smart cast is easy to use with compatible apps and phones.

With the exception of the most obvious,this TV has most of the options that the more expensive sets have. Do a side by side with other TVs in its class and you'll see the difference. That aside, the picture looks great and the sound is adequate. Set up was on par with most other connected electronics. I love that it works with Google Assistant, and it works quite well i have to say. While i don't use it often, I'm happy with Vizio's Smart TV OS as well. Some can be horrific. Xbox gaming looks great as well if you use the correct settings on the TV and Xbox. People often don't explore all of the settings on their equipment and ultimately their experience suffers, leading to a bad review. All and all a great TV and a good buy.

This picture is really good compared to other similar TVs with the same qualities. On top of that, the price was a WHOLE lot better than the others. Overall, top quality at this price range!!

Replaced our 9 year old LED Samsung HD TV that hand lines in the picture and a dead spot, lower left corner. TV's are a lot cheaper now and disposable. Good picture, easy set up and cheap enough to throw away.
