IMO right now is not the time to overspend on a TV. I've read and watched many experts and non-expert reviews. My take is most QLED TVs are not worth the extra money right now. And OLED TVs seem like a better option for a home theater. So far, I've been pleased with this v-series TV. It's an entry-level 4k led tv with features you might not find on other more expensive entry levels. An important thing to know is it has a VA panel that has reduced viewing angles. I've been playing with this TV all day. The smartcast works great, my ps4 looks awesome on this TV, and I haven't experienced any motion blur while watching sports. Movies look very good on this TV too. The sound is good, very clear, but not very loud. A soundbar or surround sound system is needed for most TVs these days anyhow. There is also an EQ to change the sound. Also, the color is vivid, and from what I've read very accurate. I'll probably be looking to buy the 55 or 58-inch version soon and will be using this in my bedroom. For the money, you'll spend I think this Vizio is the tv to buy. I would trust this brand over other brands with similarly priced models.
