I would suggest purchasing this TV over cheaper alternatives (TCL, Sharp, Hisense). It's contains HDR 10 and Dolby Vision HDR which future proofs your TV for years to come. Also it contains local dimming zones which is not found in cheaper 4k TV's. My experience has been great thus far.

I purchased this TV to use as a computer monitor. I am older and I don't like wearing "cheaters" all the time. The TV looks OK nothing special. The picture is excellent especially on 4K HDR material and because it handles chroma 4:4:4, it gets along wonderfully with my 1060 graphics card. For the price you can not go wrong.

The screen is relatively large at 43 inches, the picture is sharp, colors are vibrant, and the contrast is great. It is a smart TV with up-to-date options. I have bought other Vizio televisions and have been pleased with all of them. The only reason that I did not rank this television higher is that it was more challenging to set up. It took me about 1 hour. Have patience. Other Vizio TV sets took perhaps 10 minutes to set up.

After tons of reading 4k info, I chose Vizio. I cut the Comcast cord prior to buying. I love the built in Chromecast feature and the Hulu, Amazon, and Youtube apps. I owned previous Hitachi, Samsung and Vizio TV's. I experienced buffering problems, so I installed a $6.00 50' ethernet cable from online. It was cheaper than a wifi booster or moving my router. No more buffering or freezing . The Vizio remote is sad, and I also had to soft cycle and factory reset from the menu after 3 weeks. Overall, so far, its got a great picture.

At that price point this probably the best tv around.
I spent quite some time reading reviews and this tv was alway one of the best in its category.
I brought it home and set it up in rather bright room and picture is great, i do not see any issue with fast motion and colors are very natural, upscaling works great and native 4K is beautiful.
Love the built in apps, but lack many popular ones such as HBO. I connected a fire stick for that purpose.

If you're looking for a low priced entry into 4k you really cannot beat this Vizio. The cons are minor: only three HDMI inputs and a pretty narrow viewing angle. They are far outweighed by the sets ability to produce great blacks, Dolby Vision capable, a nice selection of built-in apps that work pretty seemlessly, and, again, the price cannot be beat.

Awesome bedroom TV! Smartcast is a little wonky.

Vizio TVs get a lot of bad reputation I think due to their questionable quality control and Smartcast app, but I think one thing that is unquestionable is that the pricing and actual picture quality of their panels is really good compared to competitors!
This particular model is definitely part of their older series, budget series and it falls in line with the specs you'd expect from a model like that but if you curb your expectations, you're going to get an awesome value Bedroom TV. The picture quality and HDR brightness is absolutely sufficient for bedroom, casual usage, and it has all of the modern connections you'd probably need from it. The build quality is proven I'd say as I've been using it for about 2 years now and it's still going strong.
The one downside I will say is that the Smartcast app is definitely the worst I've used in a smart TV app. It can crash or lose connection or just be all around slow. Use a streaming device and you can probably circumvent what is probably this TV's only weakness for the price. I bought this for around $329 in 2018 and found that to be a great deal, so it's probably an even greater deal for less.

I've had this TV for about a week now and I love it!
Pros: It's a great screen. It's a smart TV. It has google cast.
Cons: Only about 4-5 apps are accessible using remote only (i.e., hulu, netflix, amazon prime, vudu, spotify). Everything can only be access via chromecast (like youtube)
Not only that, I can cast video players via chrome on my iphone, but my boyfriend can so that kinda limits me :\ like I _have_ to have the app if I want to cast from my phone, causing me download several apps.
Other than that, it works great and I love it and for the price, I wouldn't have it any other way!

Bought this to replace a 32" for the bedroom. What a big difference! The picture quality and ease of use is great. The only compaint I would have is the sound is not consistant from broadcast channels to streaming. Always have to turn the sound way up when we stream. A sound bar may solve this.

I went to Best Buy to purchase a TV, didn't have any brand in mind before I went... My plan was just to look at the TV's on display and compare in person... This TV stood out from the rest... Has very nice colors, no lag and a really good price point... While reviews can sometimes be helpful, I advise you to go into the store to compare and contrast..

Picked this up at a dirt cheap price. Very happy with it - picture is sharp - but it is not a high-end unit. Smart TV functions are good. 4K programming is still limited - so I went the cheap open box route for now. The 4K programs I have watched have been impressive - though there are better (for much more $$$). If you don't have a 40"+ tv, this is a good option over a 1080P tv.

I would generally spend substantially more on a tv, but I was hesitant this time. I needed a tv with great smart features and decent sound to put in a new screen room I just built. While the tv is not exposed to weather necessarily, it is outside. I was concerned about how the speakers would work being in an open area. After several weeks in operation I can say this was a great purchase. The speakers have no trouble projecting sound even without walls to bounce off of. The smart features allow for only the power cord to be attached to the tv as everything else is all built in that I need. YouTube TV, Netflix, Amazon. Fantastic deal on a fantastic TV.

We stuck with Vizio. We have another size and model of Vizio which has held up well. The Geek Squad agent installed it, programmed it within an hour. He was professional and efficient. The 43 inch Vizio fits perfectly in the smaller area where we had our previous TV. Clear definition and it IS smart!

This is no longer available. But if you can find the newer models of this TV it will be perfect as a smaller gaming machine. Each HDMI port supports HDR which is why I grabbed it. I have the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch connected to this device and the colors pop.

My recent purchase of the new Vizio E43 was everything I hoped for. The unit is a 4k UHD HDR 240Hz 2160P. It comes loaded with the standard app but also Chromecast. The unit will interact with Amazon Alexa which makes for an even greater experience.
You can't go wrong with this unit.

We love the quality of this tv and able to cast things instantly on it. When we first purchased it, the tv did have some issues like the tv not turning on or having a black screen but it updated and has been running smoothly since.

This purchase was to replace an LG that had developed issues which would be more costly to repair than to make this purchase.
I am getting older, my eyesight is not great, and I have developed issues with my hearing. The picture on this TV is clear and distinct. Even sitting at a slight angle to the TV, it remains clear enough for me.
The audio on this set, like most TVs of today, is not as crisp as I would like. even adjusting the sound through the menu does not help me. Oddly enough, I can hear the set better when I am in another room than when I am in the room with the set. I have debated adding a sound bar, but it can wait.
All in all, this was a good purchase for the price. I did not give it 5 stars due to the sound not being as crisp as I would like.

This TV puts out a pretty good picture, blacks look rich and colors look nice and saturated. The smart functions of this TV are also very nice. For the money I would recommend this to a friend. Only downside is the TV is a little thick but for the price I think this is normal.

I have had this tv for a little over a month now. Works pretty well for my needs. I mostly use it to play games on my PS4 Pro. The 4k is nice and smooth! I also watch anime from Crunchyroll on it. Just be sure to configure the TV to actually output 4k and low input latency for gaming when the PS4/Xbox is plugged in (within Menu on the tv).
The only slight issues i have had are some slight brightness changes on parts of the tv when i was watching something on Netflix. I only noticed after my friend brought it up. I haven't noticed it except when using Netflix sometimes.
Also, 2 or 3 times since owning thid tv, it has blacked out (acted like it was resetting the picture on the tv) as if I had just selected to go to my HDMI-3 (the hdmi my PS4 is plugged into). I am fairly sure this happened because the internet was being weird and thinking i wanted to change to watching something using Chromecast or something like that.
Overall, I am satisfied with this tv, especially for the price! Just make sure your picture settings are good for what you are going to use the tv for. The default picture setting is rather dim and weird. :)

I needed a replacement TV for my bedroom. Because I didn't want to put it on the wall, my choices were limited by size. I really wanted a Samsung but the smaller Samsung's did not have the ability to use the 5g wifi. This one can use either. This is a big deal when considering others in the home will be streaming/gaming at the same time.
Initially, I was disappointed in the TV. The picture wasn't as good as I had seen previously (my brother has the larger 65 or 70 inch in his living room). Once I upgraded my cable box to HD, however, the issue resolved. I'm very happy with the picture, the number of connections, etc.
I've had this TV for a couple of months now and haven't had any issues with it. Setup was relatively easy (I had an old TV, so there was a learning curve).
This is a good TV, especially at this price point. Would recommend and buy again.
