Use a soundbar. Also the tv does not respond to the remote very well; I have to repeated press the button on the remote that came with the tv. It does not respond to my DIRECTV remote at all no matter what I do.

Surround sound affect is also great but a soundbar would make it even better. You wont be disappointed. Vizio knocks it out of the park!
