In general, I'm very pleased with this tv and I think it's a good deal for the price. That said, there are some pros and cons. PROS: Very good image quality; attractive design; 3 HDMI ports (increasingly rare on displays of this size); built-in digital tuner (a bonus if you don't have cable and want to watch broadcast TV on occasion). CONS: No built-in streaming apps—requires an phone or tablet with the "SmartCast" app (which isn't very good). Also, the remote is just complete joke—it's the most basic thing you've ever seen and doesn't even have a number pad; you actually need to use the app to adjust most of the settings. Conclusions: While I was disappointed in the ultra-basic remote control and the glitchy SmartCast app, for the most part I'm very happy with this purchase. The display quality is great (which is really the most important thing) and I'm really happy to have a built-in tuner and enough HDMI ports for my AppleTV, Blu-ray player, and a game system. Since I use AppleTV for most of my streaming needs, the lack of a built-in platform isn't a big deal. Overall, I think the value for money is quite good.

I was stoked to finally upgrade my TV. From a Sony Bravia 32inch to this is very different in every feature. This one is much bigger, clearer picture, colors look great, and weighs less than the 32". Only issue I have is sometimes when switching inputs from TV or cast the whole screen goes gray for a quick 5 seconds. Other than that it's a great TV. Don't really use it too loud so can't comment on sound. I usually have my bluetooth headphones connected.

    Now I have 3 Vizio Tv's

8 years ago I picked up our first flat screen TV, it was a Vizio 36". It was awesome. Movies were great, play station was just Incredible. 4 years later, we needed one for our guest room...again we got a Vizio, but this was one of those smart TV's. You know, it's more than just for watching TV, it plays back your digital pictures and movies, can be your computer screen, or uses it like we do for our guests (sometimes me) to play Wii, PlayStation or just watch TV, when your really not wanting to watch cupcake wars...know what I mean? So this year we wanted to upgrade from our 36" living room flat screen to 46" Vizio. And now we can use Netflix, YouTube, pictures on my phone, movies, bluray on the play station and so much more. Put the older 36" in our bedroom on one of those swivel extension mounts. That's so cool. Vizio has kept pace with us for the last 8 years, technology will continue to change, and as long as Vizio keeps up, there will be Vizio on all my screens!!!

This Vizio model's picture and specifications were perfect for our cable-less viewing. Smartcast/Chromecast system is a little clunky, and the no-frills remote control device is a touch too stark, and forces a bit too much control to the Smartcast app, which means you need a phone or iPad nearby for more advanced adjustments. We use our Roku and digital antenna almost exclusively, and both work well and the picture quality is excellent for those feeds. You can't beat it for the price-point.

We bought this tv when our old one started losing color. It has a great picture and sound. Works well with our antennae, DVD player and Apple TV. The only downside I've noticed so far is that the remote has no numbers for channel selection.... only up and down arrows. This is not a problem for us because we only have the local channels, but may be a frustration for others with more channels to flip through.

I bought this as second tv for my bedroom. The picture quality is really good and has an auto dimming feature that works really well. I wish the TV had built in apps for streaming (netflix, amazon, etc...) but other than that I have been pleased with my purchase.

I wanted a large TV for my living room and this does the job nicely. It has a lot of display inputs, which is very convenient for me because I am primarily using the TV with several gaming consoles, so it's great not having to switch wires back and forth. The only real drawback is that the TV settings are very limited compared to other TV's. The remote only has a few buttons and I can't figure out how to adjust the picture, but it looks great to begin with so that doesn't bother me too much. There is an app that Vizio wanted me to download on my iPhone and that allowed me a few more options. I was able to rename the display inputs and the TV has built-in Chromecast, so once I set that up with the Vizio app I was then able to stream movies from the Netflix and Vudu apps directly to the TV without any additional devices (or if you prefer not to use Chromecast, the TV does work fine streaming videos from a connected device like a gaming console instead). The sound is pretty good, although I decided to use some Logitech computer speakers instead so that I could get some more bass. Overall, this TV works brilliantly for videogames and movies, and it's large enough that I can see it clearly across the room.

the picture quality is great and the price is the selling point for me to get this TV. Only draw back is it does not come with an actual remote, you need to download an app for that. But...... if you will be using a cable box.... it would not be a big of a deal.... till you use the built in apps. I prefer a physical remote and not my phone, just incase a guest needs to sue a tv.

I bought this tv as open box. Was pleased with price and after getting it home and using it for a while, I am pleased. It has a clear picture and has plenty of inputs . Only drawback I have is the remote is small and unclear on buttons. But of course most of us don't use tv remotes that come with tv usually . We just link it to dish or Comcast remotes. Which I did and and tv works great.

After giving my Samsung to my son who went away to college, I was torn between just getting a lower cost replacement and breaking the bank for the UHD 4K. I was pleasantly surprised with the picture (once fully adjusting color and backlight). Boot up is a little slow, but worth it. Have yet to truly dig into all built-in smart functions (mainly use my AppleTV for that).

This TV has a great picture especially considering the price. However, the remote control kinda sucks. If you want to be able to do anything other than adjust the volume or change channels you have to download the app to your phone and have internet access to sync everything up. Kind of annoying when trying to set the tv up in a wifi-less beach house.

I kinda wish I had gotten a 4K TV, but this TV is good price for its size and quality. Its large, has a sturdy stand, shipped very quickly and efficiently. It was easy to set up and I can control it from my Smartphone which is handy. Of course they want you to buy stuff through Google Play to watch and stream, but otherwise its a wonderful setup.

The picture quality is amazing. The remote control is cheap and very basic. The V-Cast feature is cool, but you have to install an app (SmartCast)) on your phone or tablet to use it. You can also install Plex on your computer to turn it into a media center, so you can watch all of your movies saved on your computer on your TV.

Picture and sound quality very good..Refresh rate is 120 which is nice for a lower price TV, however the remote is very basic and all functions except on//off and volume need to be done from phone or tablet.. even sleep timer. .Also no other Vizio or after market remote will do it either..
