    I have not installed the TV yet but from reading and seeing the remote not sure how much I will like having to use the app.

    I'm a vizio buyer I like the brand. But this tv is garbage. I don't even want it but it's too late to return. It says that google chrome is built in it is not you have to cast everything from your smart phone or tablet which is stupid. $300 down the drain. If you like casting buy it. If you don't don't waste your money.

      Thank you for your feedback. Just to clarify the display does come with built-in Chromecast technology. This means that you can send content from any of the thousands of applications that support the Google Cast platform directly from your smart phone, tablet, or computer. VIZIO

    We were not pleased with Vizio's implementation of Smart TV. Returned TV and purchased a Sony TV in its place.

    The fact that the remote does not let you enter a channel is horrendous. One must scroll through channels to get where one desires to go. If I had known that I would not have bought the tv. There are no remotes or programs to allow this. One must use your phone in order to access tv functions. This is not good.

    I hate that it's nothing like a normal TV. No menu, or any # buttons. Literally a barely tv to hook up to internet. They did say there was a free upgrade when I bought the tv the lady I spoke w/from bestbuy 800 number. When I got there, I asked like she told me to do & I was told it was impossible to get it. So not happy with that. Would have been 4K for same price.

    I purchased this "smart" e series Vizio because I have one that I purchased 2.5 years ago. I like that one and use it to watch pamazon prime and my kids cast YouTube on it. I purchased this one thinking it would do the same. It does not! You have to download an app to your phone to use other apps that are cast enabled which makes no sense because cast enabled apps just cast to a smart tv without the need for a 3rd party app. That's all that this tv does. So I couldn't use my amazon prime on it. Plus it has a useless eithernet port because you can only set it up with wifi. If I wanted something this not tech advanced I would have saved money buying a bottom of the line tv. I returned this to the store and got a 49" Smart LG that I like much better for the same price on sale.

      Thanks for your feedback. We include a basic remote with this unit that allows for control of features such as powering the product on, adjusting volume and input selection. Your cable or satellite providers remote should also work fine for day to day operation. A smart phone is only required when casting applications such as Netflix, YouTube, Vudu and more. VIZIO

    Got this set as an open box. Never had problems with open box items before this one. This one had bad picture problems. Return it right away. Would love to give a better review. Was not impress with the tiny remote either.
