This is a very nice Soundbar choice. Glad I chose the Visio M Series 5.1.2 versus a 3 1.2. Very nice sound. The only reason for 4 stars is that the Bass and Subwoofer are a bit weak. I discussed with Visio Tech Support and determined I was getting its max performance. I would recomment this Soundbar over others in its class and price.

This Vizio Sound Bar has upgraded our TV and Music listening experience at home. It is very easy and intuitive to install. I don't give it 5 stars because it would have been better if it had included pedestals for the rear speakers.

Got it today. My first impression was the sound level is lower than the 5.1 model. Not sure if the front speaker of this model is smaller on the sound bar. Paid $165 more than the 5.1 Atmos model. I am still thinking if it is worth. But the Bass makes you feel its presence.I will get back to this review after using for another day, if my review is editable or will leave an updated review.

Great value! This sounds bigger than you’d expect. Fills the whole room with atmos sound.

Brought this as an upgrade to my older Vizio soundbar. Was able to get it for $399, a great deal. Very easy to set up, especially like the extra features in the remote. There was a hiccup with the initial hookup, the sound on occasion would be muted for a few seconds and then return to normal. Once I download the update firmware from Vizio website, it is working fine. Recommend it.

This has been my first experience with Atmos and I must say it is impressive when the content supports it. Just finished the new season of Stranger Things and with this system it was so much more immersive. The subwoofer puts out a decent amount of power that can definitely be felt. It makes the viewing/listening of content a lot better. Whole family has enjoyed it. My daughter like connecting to it to listen to music which is super easy to do.

Crystal clear sound. Excellent punchy bass. This is the best sound bar I’ve ever had.

Soundbar has loys og functionality. Good quality sound. Works well for TV Shows, Movies and Music. Of coise its a 5.1.2 Soumdbat so noy as good as an Audiofile Soumd System but really really nive for my needs and ay $400 easily performsa as well as Soumdbats twice its price.

Nice Dolby effects.the sound bar quality is good overall but not the best choice for music as far as volume. This replaced my previous Vizio bar and can’t compete with the larger speakers of my old bar. For the price and EQ adjustments available on it a good buy for entry level Dolby/earc.

Really tho king about returning this item. I’m glad I got a deal on this because of the price match but this is starting to get annoying. The update for the sound bar won’t upload and the connection keeps cutting out. I even bought a new hdmi cable and after a few days the problem came back. No sound again. I really don’t think this sound bar is compatible with my Sony tv. When I use the optical cable for the system it works perfectly but when I use the hdmi cable that’s when I run into issues. When the system is working it’s awesome but when it keeps cutting out it’s getting annoying really fast. Vizio customer service is a joke and so is Best Buy geek squad. No help whatsoever.

I ordered this almost 2 months before I knew I would be able to use it. Finally was able to install and use it. When I first fired it up, I was only a little pleased and it was not the sound I was expecting or hoping for. Later that evening I started messing with TV and sound bar settings and i do not know which setting I changed ... But man, when it kicked in it changed everything! Sound is awesome and better than I ever expected. .... absolutely love this setup!

I would easily give this soundbar four, perhaps even five stars, given its price (and I paid full price, not the new, lower price). Unfortunately, it has a major issue for which I must give it only stars. The ARC/eARC HDMI port (or perhaps even the hardware that controls it) is wonky, to say the least. The audio will often cut out, even refusing to output altogether at times. Muting and unmuting sometimes works, but it will then cut out again a short time later. Other times, it requires switching to the regular HDMI or another input, then switching back to it. To be sure it wasn't just the TV, we tried it on a different TV by a different manufacturer, and it exhibited the same behavior. Then, we tried another soundbar of the exact same model, again on different TVs, and this second iteration did the same thing. So, instead of being able to use the built-in apps on smart TVs, we had to buy Rokus and run them into the regular HDMI input. This resolved all of the audio issues, but it required additional expense to purchase the streaming devices, and it took away that HDMI port that could be used for BluRay players or other devices. This is an incredibly disappointing flaw, one for which we haven't been able to find a solid solution. Not even updating the firmware resolved the issue. Moreover, If you're a gamer, and you use newer consoles with high refresh rates and such, you'll be out of luck, because this soundbar doesn't have the capacity to carry such video signals from the regular HDMI input out to the TV through the ARC/eARC port. You'll have to connect consoles directly to the TV for such features, but then you're back to the issue of sound dropping out. Unfortunately, we are past the return period for these soundbars, but we did at least purchase protection plans for them. I cannot stress enough to importance of doing this. Yes, it adds considerable cost to the items, but it can mean the difference between being able to get support for defective items and being stuck with them as-is. When it does work, though, it sounds really good for a soundbar. I haven't felt too much of a loss from switching to this over the full-size home theater system I used when I still had the room for it. As it stands, I cannot recommend this soundbar, not even at $399.99. Users will not be able to use the built-in apps of smart TVs with it, leaving them with expensive and inelegant workarounds.
