Great sound with good budget Atmos system. Good quality in dialogue, treble subwoofer and bass. Easy to assemble. Hope it's last better than the last Vizio that I bought the 5.1 it's soundbar stop functioning in just 10 months. The guaranteed was for 1 year so they back it up. Very good sound for the price, feels like you are in the cinema very immersive.

Absolutely love it. It was recommended to us by an employee and the price to performance ratio for this sound system is fantastic. It is easy to set up, the surround sound is great, and the sub-woofer adds that extra oomph that helps sell what you're seeing on screen; if you play video games, it -will- make you want to start a whole new playthrough just to re-experience it.

Really awesome Dolby Atmos sound system. This thing sounds great! There are a lot of EQ settings you can adjust. In my opinion it’s a great value for the price point. I was gonna buy the Bose 900 but for $899 for only a sound bar, I felt like I would be missing the punch of the subwoofer. For half the price of the Bose sound bar you get a complete system with a subwoofer and two satellite speakers. This thing gets pretty loud. You might be able to find it on sale for $350 at that price point I feel like It’s a no brainer

Incredible. You can adjust the height of the sound bar in its settings so that the sound is coming at the correct angle. The sound is so crisp and the bass is awesome for the size subwoofer. I’d say 10/10 for a mid level sound system. Honestly sounds better than some of the really expensive Samsung and LG stuff that’s at least 1200. And it’s insanely loud. If you wanna crank it at full volume it’s still very clear and crisp and you can party outside with it being in the living room

Good atmos sound for when watching a movie or playing games or music, Good price range for those who want to step up their sound game but don't want to spend 1k on a soundbar i own a M series Vizio tv and i literally just turn the tv on and the soundbar turns on with it no pairing issues whatsoever haven't even updated it yet with their app but going to later on all in all good soundbar for a reasonable price.

Great buy for the money. I replaces my JBL surround with this one and the difference is 100 times better. The reason I’m giving it a 4 out 5 because it don’t always connect to my TV when I turn the TV on. I have to unplug the surround sound a few a moments and they it’s works. The rear speakers are amazing. I will buy again.

Most of the negative reviews here are from people who have no idea how to tune this system. The sound from this is absolutely incredible and loud enough that your neighbors blocks away can hear it. This is an amazing sound bar and the price is even better. Its crisp, clear, booming bass and at times will scare you when you dont expect it. Make sure your TV has an eArc plug and take the time to tune it properly to your environment. Highly recommend this system!!!

Easy setup, fantastic upgrade from my 4 year old Bose CineMate 15. Much clearer sound, wireless connection to subwoofer (and effectively the satellite speakers too since they are connected via wires to the subwoofer). Have not yet tried Dolby Atmos support. The remote had an issue with the display for only one day where the bottom few rows of pixels were not active (displaying black), but the next day and since then it has been fine. I also have an Echo Dot connected to to it for playing music.

Giving it a 5 star, for now, simply because of how it sounds and how easy it was to set up. It took about 10 mins for me to enjoy the sound, but I am guessing that it took about 9 minutes for me to just position the soundbar and the speakers. The system took less than a minute to turn on, configure itself and play some amazing sounds.
I spent countless hours researching online, going to BB, Costco, etc. to figure out which would be the best choice with my given budget. Nothing was appealing for my budget and took a chance with this product since it wasn't even on the Best Buy floor for me to test out. I am glad I took the chance & hopefully it continues to serve my audio needs for a few years, if not more.

Great Sound, But Beware of 2 Important Conditions

The sound is very good from this unit, and it was fairly easy to set up. There are a couple of things to keep in mind. First, not many streaming services "broadcast" in Dolby Atmos. You may also need to subscribe to a higher price tier to get this, as is the case with Netflix. Also, even if you pay the higher price, most shows are not coded in Atmos. Now, if you are playing a 4K DVD that features Atmos, you are in good shape. But for most of your TV watching, you are not getting the Atmos sound, so no value added for this unit, compared to others.
Second, the surround speakers are hard wired to the subwoofer (which is wireless). So, if you want your subwoofer near your TV but still want rear surround, you will need to hide the audio cables. These are not simply speaker wires, but a type of RCA connector-based set of wires. They are fairly long, so that would not be an issue.

This is a good starter Dolby Atmos soundbar. I liked it enough to buy two for the living room & bedroom tvs. Haven’t had any of the eARC issues I had with my pervious Vizio soundbar (My TVs are both LG, C9 & CX) Sound is very good for the price range. This soundbar will fill a small to medium room easily.

The set-up with my Sony X90J wasn't really intuitive, ultimately had to call upon the Geek Squad to complete the process. It would likely be much easier if using a Vizio TV.
However the end result is pretty darn awesome! The Atmos effect is remarkable on the 8 foot ceiling in our family room (of course the source has to be broadcasting with Atmos for this to happen) but even movies using only 5.1 are extremely emersive. The subwoofer is surprisingly powerful, actually needs to be toned down a bit to keep from loosening one's fillings during action scenes.
This would definitely have been a 5 star rating if the set-up had been more user friendly.
By the way, don't forget to upload the latest firmware from Vizio's website (1.1.0.9) or the set-up will go from "difficult" to "impossible".

This little soundbar creates a cinema experience at a reasonable price. While you're not going to get the same volume and sound quality you would from a full home theater system, it's a great bang for the buck, is easy to set up, and it works automatically with the TV via eARC.
I have mine set up in a fairly small room and it provides plenty of sound, although it's not extremely loud. Needless to say, it blows the stock TV speakers out of the water.

Got this sound bar system on a steal on pre owned for $350 I'm glad I got this sound bar the bass is thumping you can hear the sound coming from above and around you. I would have payed full price. But slightly pre use I'll take it plus I got the warranty too. Lastly super easy to set up.

I’ll be honest it sounds amazing. Watching family movies with dolby atmospheres is just awesome and the surround sound is unreal. It’s SO LOUD. Connects so quickly and easy. Bluetooth is great on it. Overall is a great sound system and I would recommend.

Good: amazing sound. Pretty close to dolby theater experience (i say this as a AMC a list movie subscriber). Bass kicks and simulates overhead sound pretty darn well when turned up. Works well with youtube tv, disney +, netflix, hbo max, hulu, espn + apps on google tv / chromecast. Bad: some connection issues at times w rear speaker but not often. Few apps (Univision now) have bad sound for sports/soccer matches but the 5.1 on movies/tv shows on the app sound great idk y not many tho (its probably a app or broadcasting issue i think).
Over all definitely happy with it, totally worth the money.
Fyi: the Green dot means Dolby Atmos is working properly when watching Atmos content. if getting a purple dot, just restart the system. Happened when 1st set up system, hasnt happened since.

A really good soundbar. Easy to set up and really easy to use. I have it hooked up to my LG C1 and it allows me to use HDMI EARC to switch the sound with my remote. Dolby Atmos is good, but I can't tell a huge difference between this and typical surround sound. A Great soundbar for gaming and movies.

This, for the price is very nice surround sound without the need for the expensive AVR, wired speakers, and everything you think when you set up your original home entertainment system. I would have given 5 stars except for three things.
1) The remote is needed even though you use the ARC it says it's hooked with you smart TV but no dice! You want the volume to go and and down, you're using the remote!
2) The remote is needed to search for volume anytime you use a different HDMI
3) It came up in my cart as a "Popular Add On" when I bought the 58" Vizo TV. It doesn't with that TV unless it's a wall installation. I bought a 3.1 for my smaller TV and it works great. But for some reason the bigger TV has a different stand that sits much lower and this unit won't sit under it on anything flat. It covers the bottom of the TV screen.
The fix for Vizo is easy, just use the same stands for all size TV's. Unfortunately, the fix for us consumers is to put something underneath the stand legs to lift the TV.

I am surprised that at this price point, it has the features it does.
The audio is clear and in tune.
Atmos works fine, definitely can notice the difference with the up firing speakers.
Dialogue is good from drama shows.
Wireless subwoofer is the base point for the rear speakers, would recommend leaving it exposed and in view from the soundbar. Had mine under the sofa, and it just might've been my phone affecting the signal or that the cable that comes with it is NOT HDMI 2.1. (Required for Dolby Atmos due to data capabilities) That the rears had a couple of stutters during a movie. I moved the sub and replaced the cable at the same time so can not pinpoint the source of the issue.
Cons
HDMI cable is NOT 2.1 (needed for ATMOS content)
The remote is not a common Vizio remote and may not be easily replaced. DONT LOSE IT
There is a half second delay from the point of pressing play on paused content. Could be that I'm using EARC from a X90J. No other audio delays otherwise
The most annoying issue I have is, sometimes when it wakes from turning on with the TV. There is no audio, TV says audio is outputting but nothing. Simply turning off either the TV or the soundbar and turning it back on normally fixes it. (Could be an EARC issue OR just brand compatibility SONY TV )
Overall for the quality audio and features that it comes it for the price. It cant be beat, for now.

I use this in a small room and it works very well. I would not recommend for large rooms. The audio quality is absolutely stunning. The rear speakers and subwoofer works perfectly without any connection issues. If set up properly it sound like I’m in a movie theater. The Dolby atmos performance is actually surprisingly good. There is a sense of height when atmos is playing. It’s important to not that in order to get atmos, your tv needs to support HDMI ARC. If your tv doesn’t have HDMI ARC then you will need to plug 1 device into the soundbar directly in order to get the Atmos codec and only that device that is plugged in directly will get atmos. If you plan on using a optical digital cable you will only get Dolby 5.1 audio. For the sound you get from a 500$ system, you would expect it to cost double the price so I say this system is a steal at its current price. And it may be one of the cheapest setup to give you Dolby atmos. Worth every penny. I was watching season 2 of the Witcher and was amazed how the sound of a snow blizzard managed to engulf me. I could hear wind above me and all around. Very immersive for a small setting.
