    Almost Perfect

Almost perfect, but one major flaw preventing a full five stars. The sound quality from this sound bar is phenomenal. I was replacing a 5.1 setup (with a high-end Yamaha receiver and Polk Audio speakers and sub), and it definitely is a marked improvement. Experiencing the full Dolby Atmos is wonderful, and the lossless Spatial audio on Apple Music is mind blowing through this system as well. The only thing I wish I could change is the crossover frequency for the included subwoofer. There are times that some actors with lower voices hit the register that the sub picks up, when they should be routed only through the center channel. It can be a little off-putting when this happens. A few more settings available would be nice to see ... but at this price point, I'm thrilled with the overall performance.

Sounds pretty good, I tested this system out along with some others while inside Best Buy and this system sounded the best. I was looking for something that had a decent amount of power without sounding fake and this system had good reviews all around. The Dolby Atmos sounds really good in my bedroom, which is about 12x18, the "dome effect" you get while watching movies or playing games sounds amazing. The bass response is pretty good although i have to turn it down a lot because it can be a little too much. Vizio provides every cable and even wall mounts for the surround speakers and soundbar itself, which is really nice, the remote is nice and the light up screen comes in handy at night althought it could have used some better instructions on what the different options ment. All around im really satisfied with my choice and out of all the soundbars i tested higher in price and lower in price for 500 bucks you cant beat it unless you wanna spend 500 more.

I was initially underwhelmed by this system until I appreciated the dynamic sound quality that it offers. It is not a high end system but it certainly packs a punch with the delivery of the deep bass. Disclaimer - my room is probably a bit too large for a fully immersive experience with this system.

This sound bar and satellite speakers sound great. Dolby Atmos does sound more immersive even if I can't specifically tell that sounds are coming from above. However, after about a week, the volume could no longer be changed via my LG remote. Sound still works great but having to use two remotes is tedious.

I feel like I found a unicorn. I was looking for something that would fit into my setup and give me Dolby Atmos with my LG CX 65" and PS5, and not break the bank. I tried the ONN 512 and worked with it for just under 3 months and it was a nightmare. It had all the bells and whistles but it was too buggy. I found this vizio and it was more expensive but and less bells and whistles but still within my price range. I got it and had a few issues setting it up, and volume problems too. I was about to box it up and send it back; when I read about a firmware update could fix my issues. Once I updated my firmware, this beauty came to LIFE. No more volume issues and my eArc worked properly. I actually had to turn it down for fear or overwhelming my living room and disturbing my neighbors. I have been a very happy man since that update. I now have a Dolby Atmos capable setup and booms around me when streaming and gaming. My favorite feature is the LCD remote. I can make all my adjustments from my remote and check it too. I don't have to walk over to the soundbar, nor strain my eyes to read a display across the room. Reviews from Newsweek(editors choice), Cnet, Rtings, and Digital Trends help me decide and feel comfortable with my choice, but using the soundbar made me fall in love. I finally have true surround sound in my living room.

I love this sound bar. Though not considered the high end of bar's the sound you get from Vizio's products at a reasonable price are to be commended. I recently had a Sony 3.1 bar in which I spent $800 as compared to this one which was only $500. The Vizio was much better than Sony's overpriced bar. Music sounds great as does a good movie playing with Dolby Atmos. Just a tip. Make sure you have the speakers firing up on the bar at all times. Sounds much better to me. The only real reason I didn't give 5 stars was because from time to time I'll have to turn the bar off and then back on to get the sound going again. To me it's not the biggest issue, but can understand if someone else would find it annoying. Overall I would definitely recommend this for someone who doesn't want to break the bank and still get a good product.

This system sounds incredible, with great fidelity and bass and wonderful height channel support with Atmos and DTS X. The height effects are fantastic and this system is a steal right now at 349.99. To me this is a no brainer purchase for anyone looking for a soundbar and home theater system with 3D spatial audio support and then some. Beyond happy with this system

I can't believe I hadn't bought a soundbar yet.... This has changed my entire tv experience. The sound is great, bass is nice, only challenge is figuring out exactly where to place the two extra speakers. The way my tv and couch are set up in my house there's not a perfect place to do it, however even quickly placed they're awesome. Would recommend

Got this soundbar as a upgrade to my old vizio system and it's perfect the base is room rocking by the subwoofer facing to the ground I think helps you feel it more and the dolby atmos along with dialogue feature to hear what they saying in the movie is real close to a theater experience plus got it priced match cause it was on sale somewhere else made it a great overall purchase.

Finally all checkboxes ticked , earc , Dolby atmos , 5.1.2 channels, compatibility with Sony x900h . Setup was very easy . I am not an audiophile but was looking for good crisp clear sounds both in background and voices / dialogues . This is latest version and much improved than previous m series version

Really good. I had a 2.1 lg sound bar for 10 years and upgraded to the vizio m512 after upgrading our tv. Really nice having better bass and rear speakers. I’m not sure I feel the upward facing. Speakers, by overall a great experience. One note, I couldn’t get eArc to work out of the box. I updated to latest firmware and worked properly. Volume and bass i plenty.

Great sound. Left and rights are pretty weak. It's hard to distinguish them from the center even when the center is turned all the way down. Had to downgrade from an avr and 5.1 system so it could be I'm just to that setup. The surrounds are great and the sub hits nicely even for a 6". I've never had atmos so I really didn't know what to expect but I don't feel like a lot of sound is coming from above. But going from an avr to a sound bar I was surprised how well it sounded.

Solid sound. Surround speaks are surprisingly solid, watching Private Ryan you have bullets whizzing past your head! Haven't had a chance to demo a true atmos experience yet, but upfiring speaks help create a balanced sound field. Soundbars are ridiculous expensive, coming close in price to a component system which is absurd, in my opinion. For $350 on sale-- this was a great buy that i would confidently recommend. We bought this for my girlfriend's apartment, i have Klipsch RP system connected to a weak dennon AVR, and while the vizio can't fairly complete, it gets the job done. Also a key value is that you can customize the sound field easily with the included remote

Great sound! Not just at this price point, but overall. I tried a few more expensive options and decided to keep this one. The Doby ATMOS sounds amazing in my living room with high ceilings. The bass is good and strong. Can be overpowering depending your settings. Overall this is a fantastic soundbar!

I am blown away at the sound for less than $400. I have watched several movies with Atmos and I'm not disappointed. Easy hardware setup then you need to adjust the speaker volumes to the correct setting. I didn't think the sub would put out much, I am pleasantly surprised. I would recommend this and I already have.

I was really surprised at the sound that comes out of this setup. I was not expecting much compared to the JBL and LG systems that I have heard in the recent past. Setup was really simple and I personally did not have any issues with it. I have not had a lot of Atmos content experience, but what I can say is that this does a pretty great job at making the movies/games come to life. The surround speakers DO CONNECT BY WIRES to the subwoofer. I just wanted everyone to know that they are wireless in that sense. Other than that it is great sound and great value if you catch it on sale.

Second Vizio soundbar purchase. Automatically detects Dolby Atmos or Dolby Digital Surround signal from LG OLED C1 TV eARC. Has nice dialogue clarity, treble and bass, combined with an immersive surround speaker, upfiring speaker and good subwoofer for medium sized rooms.
