Astounding. I was reluctant to switch to this style of home theater system but decided to take a chance on a more immersive experience than what what my 30 year old inherited top of the line dedicated amp system was able to offer. But this little thing is pretty good. You can even hear a difference whe. The atmos kicks in. Also we’re not noticing any lag on the wireless. The only negative is that bass on the sub woofer doesn’t quite pump up the volume like our old school system did with music. That said it also seems to have wider bass range.

System easy to set up, not a lot of features but hardly ever use all those extra features other more expensive systems offer. The sound is excellent for my size room, bass is adequate, it rumbles without ever sounding distorted. I like the fact that it has an HDMI input, by using it this way you do not have to sacrifice the number of inputs on your TV. Overall I find this to be a great basic sound bar system, you will have to spend a lot more money to get better sound than what this one offers, got it on sale for 350 so it was an easy decision based on the system sound quality and features

Great Atmos Soundbar For The Price.

A review video popped up on YouTube for this and it caught my attention. The top firing speakers & the actual rear surround speakers are what sold me on this. Easy to setup, great sound for the price, well above what I was expecting honestly. Top firing speakers add that nice overhead effect on Atmos & DTS X tracks. Especially after I turned off the Virtual X effect & use the Direct EQ mode. I have friends with higher priced Atmos soundbars without the top and rear speakers and they just dont compare to this.

I got this used in the open box for $187. It’s a great purchase that I’d highly recommend. The subwoofer is small but packs a huge punch. The rear satellite speakers work great and the sound bar provides clear clean audio. I have this surrounded sound connected to my projector and it’s so awesome watching movies on it. For the money you can’t beat this Vizio sound bar. I also really like how you can adjust the settings for it.

Finally found the best soundbar out there! I needed a soundbar with the rear surround sound speakers and was not looking to spend over a thousand like some out there. I am very impressed with this sound bar and love it! I had previously tried an LG soundbar and rears and a Polk soundbar with rears and returned both of those. I did some research and even listened to this soundbar on display at a local Best Buy and it sounded amazing. Dolby Atmos content sounds incredible never knew what I was missing. I highly recommend this product and am very happy with it!

In terms of sound quality it is surprisingly good for its price range. Build quality is also seems very good so hopefully it will be reliable unlike some other Vizio sound bars that suddenly die. For what I wanted, it is perfect. It supports all the possible audio formats coming from my BD player to its HDMI in port and passes through the 4k HDR image to my tv. The up-firing atoms speakers do make a difference in filling the room (you can hear the difference by turning them on and off). The subwoofer is also surprisingly punchy for its size. May be not the best option for playing music as it only has Bluetooth connectivity (no wifi, no apple or google music support) but as a low price sound bar for movies and tv, I am very happy with it.

This is my first premium audio system so I do not have much to compare it too. I like that I was able to get Dolby Atmos in a sub $500 soundbar. Installation was easy. Setup is proving to be more challenging trying to get everything just right but I guess that is true for all things of this nature. My biggest gripe is the lack of detailed information displayed on the remote or on the TV. It's thorough in that it will show you bass vs treble vs sub-woofer but then it only makes changes in increments of "+" or "-" so it is difficult to establish a base-line.

This is a great system for the money. It was extremely easy to set up with my Vizio M series tv. It also looks great with the tv. I had found the subwoofer to be a little boomy at times but that was quickly fixed by changing the placement and adjusting the settings. I have not experienced any software or connectivity issues. I only wish the speaker grills were metal instead of fabric, similar to the LG and Samsung systems at the same price point. The other change I would like is the ability to route the speaker wire through the speaker sounds instead of outside.

This sound bar is so awesome. It is one of the only ones I could find with the upward firing Atmos speakers as well as the separate rear surround speakers. I can't really notice a difference with the upward firing Atmos speakers. You might need some actual ceiling mounted speakers to get that effect. But the sound from this unit is still amazing. Easily fills a room to the point where it's too loud. The bass from the subwoofer surprised me as well. If you want a great sound with a setup that's way easier than a traditional surround sound system, then I definitely recommend this. I bought it on sale for $349.99 and for that price it's a great value.

Excellent Dolby Atmos Sound on A Budget

Dolby Atmos & DTS X on a budget! Read the reviews and bought this system when it was on sale. Very pleased with the quality of sound. There are far more expensive systems that will not decode Dolby Atmos & DTS X. Also, this soundbar is Bluetooth capable if you want to listen to music from your phone or other Bluetooth device. The Sonos Arc is not Bluetooth capable, nor can it decode DTS X.

I had a Polk magnifi max soundbar and decided I missed the “full surround” of a 5.1 system so decided to give the Vizio a try. I have to say, I am blown away by the sound quality! I thought I would miss the larger sub of the Polk but I was wrong. The sub for the Vizio has plenty of punch and room shaking ability plus I get to hear things flying by my head again! Great System. Just make sure you update the firmware before hooking it up

I returned a horrible Sony soundbar setup after one day. Terrible, muddy center channel and dialog, almost no bass whatsoever even on max. I ordered this Vizio and upon plugging it in, knew immediately it was waaay better than the Sony - even without any tweaks yet. Sound quality and dialog is clear and crisp, and the little sub punches way above its weight. In fact, I actually had to dial down the sub level a little. After tweaking bass, treble, center channel and dialog level, this thing is worth every single penny! Very happy with this purchase.

Set up was not as easy as I expected on my LG Oled tv but once I got it working I was very happy with the sound bar. It's a big up grade from my older sound bar and for the money this was a very nice purchase I think.

Very happy. My last surround sound a/v receiver was a high end affair (Anthem) but I swear, this sound bar setup, in my humble opinion, rivals it. I'm amazed by the subwoofer, I'm amazed they are able to get such quality for such a reasonable price. Great deal!

After remodeling my basement, I figured it was time to revamp my home theater setup as well. I went from a traditional receiver-based 5.1 setup to this Atmos, DTS:X 5.1.2 setup and it is worlds better than what I had before. The sound is very balanced right out of the box and it's pretty immersive as well. I have it connected to a TCL TV via eARC and everything I stream seems to trigger the appropriate Dolby or DTX encoding. The sound with Atmos-based content is immersive and fulfilling, and although the up-firing speakers provide lots of height, it's not quite as positional as a 5.1.4 or 7.1.4 type of system, but it's still amazing for the price. I have two complaints, however. First, firmware updates are via USB only and they are NOT for the faint of heart. You have to be very patient to let the bar announce to you the update has completed, don't go by the time they tell you on the Vizio firmware page. You will have to redo any of your setting customizations again but these updates don't happen frequently so it shouldn't be too big of a deal. Second, I've found there to be a 1-2 second lag between the start of viewing content and the start of sound coming from the bar. It's not a voice synchronization issue, for me everything is in synch, it seems like the bar needs to take a pause to analyze the stream, determine if it's Atmos, Dolby Digital, or DTS:X, then it will play. It may have everything to do with how I have it configured with my TV settings (TCL, eARC output, passthrough for all digital sound), but once it starts playing it is magnificent! I purchased the 4 year warranty just because EVERY brand of soundbars can be a little flakey, but as of now I find this to be a really, really fun purchase! Recommended by lay-people and experts alike, this bar shouldn't disappoint. There is a newer version of this M-Series bar now, but this one should still rate high on anyone's shopping list.
