Its night and day 100% better than the tv speakers but its got some oomph missing. The sub definitely has power but theres not alot of control to get that power. Im on an older 2018 model tv that doesnt support dolby atmos so maybe that has something to do with it as i find it very difficult to adjust audio settings on my PC and some contend doesnt hit as hard, but other content is so unbelievably good on this. Disney plus, netflix, hbo max, and other streaming services really find a way to get the most out of this 5.1 setup but gaming is where im let down the most. I really wish i could crank the bass up and had more control to feel some explosions or feel a V8 growl and stuff. I want it to feel like it feels during movie streaming, but i just cant get it to work. Maybe with a TV that supports dolby atmos so the PC can refine a few more settings it would be better. Regardless, i recommend, it truely changed my content consumption experience.

This sound bar is great for the price! Dolby Atmos audio sounds FANTASTIC along with music and other forms of entertainment. Small issues: No wifi so must update with USB Ive had the sound bar for 4 months now and ive had to reset it once after a power blip because it would not play Atmos. .. All in all it is a great system and easy set up with a clean look and great sound!

I absolutely love this soundbar. It is the bomb. I had a Vizeo 5.1 that lightening ran in on last year and I finally found this one to take its place. The 5.1 was great but this one is totally amazing. I highly recommend!!! I have a 75 inch Insignia Ultra 4K television and this sounds and looks amazing with my tv. It sounds as good as any movie theater.

The sound quality is amazing. Unfortunately, it looks like is having connectivity issues with my Sony x900h. The sound bar doesn't turn on when I turn the TV on, and I can't control the volume level from the tv's remote either. Sometimes it doesn't recognize any input. This sound bar is replacing another cheaper Vizio sound bar(v21-h8) which has been working without any type of connectivity issues for about a year now. Anyways, I just hope Vizio comes up with a firmware update that could fix the problem before I decide to return it.

For the price point this offers a lot of bang for buck. Dolby Atmos certainly can be heard, and even just playing music is a great experience. Stupidly easy to use straight out of the box, just plug and play! Can't push the volume too crazy loud, but 95% of the time its perfect for movies, video games, and sports!

Very easy to set up and get 3d surround. It's not the best unit for a large room, but it is a great value.

This Soundbar offers the best option for price and performance. i have a larger living room and this does a great job of filling the space with sound. the Atmost effects are not as pronounced as a system with dedicated speakers in those height channel positions, but they add enough to the sound stage that you would def miss them if they were not there. 10/10 would buy again.

Excellent surround sound with the small speakers mounted on speaker stands behind your seating area, especially with shows and movies encoded with DTS or Dolby Atmos. I love the fact that the Subwoofer is wireless. The soundbar works automatically with my cable remote as well as the TV remote. Solid performance for the price. There is a reason it is listed in the top ten soundbars especially in this price range by a lot of experts. Sounds very good playing music as well from multiple sources. Very pleased with this purchase.

First off this sound 100 times better than your tv speakers. The atmos sorround fills my small room pretty well at mid volume, music sound very clear with no noticeable distortion and good amount of bass. That said people that buy this soundbar need to update via usb for better connectivity experience expecially with ARC, all cables and wall mounts are included too. The star I'm dropping is for the lack of connectivity options and app support.

I have a large room with 14 foot ceilings and was concerned about the effectiveness of this sound bar system specifically the atmos feature which uses the ceiling to bounce the sound downward. It not only fills the room but it rocks the room. To the point where you can’t tell any direction that it’s coming from. All the sound adjustments featured ( through the remote) are actually noticeable and very effective. Tunable to your tastes and your room. As good as the movie theater. Good choice!

Probably the best investment I made to my home theater setup. Initially I was hesitant to get a soundbar setup that claimed to be 5.1.2 and Dolby atoms capable. However, this VIZIO m-series soundbar proved to meet and exceed my expectations. The dialogue and center sound is so clear and the extra surround back speakers just adds a fullness to the experience. The eARC capability allows for seamless integration to my already established setup. Just upgrading the sound alone, boosted my movie watching experience 1000%. Totally recommend this soundbar.

I’ve tinkered with several sound bars ranging from $100 to this one at $499(on sale for $399) and I’ve finally been able to stop with the tinkering. This one is AMAZING! For my ears, I love it! When volume is low, it sounds like your standard sound bar which is good but when I really want to get into a movie, I turn it up and it blasts and rumbles, especially with Netflix. Right now I’m watching season 4 or Stranger Things and it feel like I’m in the show. It’s definitely worth the price.

This sound bar has great sound when it works. Almost every time we want to watch TV I have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work. Luckily my Sony TV has great sound for when I don't feel like going thru resetting of the sound bar. Also the sound bar doesn't seem to react at all to inputs from the remote. There is no on screen display to monitor what the sound bar may be doing in response to the remote.

Honestly to my ears, this is perfect sound. Absolutely everything is perfect, even disregarding the fact that the price is so low. You'll have to spend at least twice as much to even get the smallest gain in quality. The only place it fails is that sometimes it doesn't turn on properly with the TV even through E-ARC, but you just have to turn it off and on again with the remote, so keep it handy.

This soundbar is on fire! The audio quality is off the charts. Seriously, it's like having a mini concert in my living room. I can hear every little detail, from the deep bass to the crisp highs. It's like the sound is wrapping around me, creating an immersive experience. Trust me, you won't be disappointed with this bad boy. It's a game-changer for sure.

Surprisingly good. I love audio and mostly only use individual speakers with receivers. I gave this one a try cos it has wireless subwoofer with rear speakers. It really sounds great for movies and tv. Music also sounds really good with clean bass and mids. Just use the appropriate preset eq. Those complaining anout height channels should try increasing height levels via Remote.

I just recently upgraded from the Vizio 5.1 Channel V series. To be honest I was very shocked with vizio and their systems. I was looking at purchasing a way more expensive sound bar. The Vizio M series has BLOWN ME AWAY. It is a great price, a great sound experience, and really makes you feel like you're at the movies. You can increase or decrease the bass, dialogue, treble etc. I can not stress this enough. You don't need that expensive sound bar, this one can and will exceed expectations!

For the price you can't beat this system. Atmos sounds outstanding! Now if the system is up very loud there is a noticeable rattle in the soundbar itself. I tried 2 of these so it's a design thing. But it only does it if it's near max so an average user will probably never notice it. System is easy to install and includes everything you need except for screws to mount the brackets to the wall. Remote is very easy to use. Bass is amazing. Highs are nice as well, mids can be lacking a bit but for the price you can't go wrong. 5/5
