Great sound and Bass. Recommend.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing sound and bass. My dad and multiple friends have complimented it. Surrond sound is great. Have scared at lest 3 people when sitting next to one of the rear speakers. Bought it for $300 in mid 2019. Still love it. My dad bought a sound system (don't recall brand or how many channels) for around $500, and complained hat it doesn't sound as good as mine. Do note that I have a relatively small, enclosed living room, which helps amplify the sound. Definitely recommend.

Great for the money a good value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok first up some technical questions that I got answered when I bought this. You won't get dolby atmos without plugging directly into the bar. HDMI CEC is only dolby digital if that. I used a Kinvio switch to bounce between my PC and Xbox One X. The sound is excellent when you have surround based content. The height effect I am a bit on the fence about. Other than Dolby Atmos content it is hard to ferret out. I live in an apartment and this is perfect for it. Good Bass, Good surround. The app is a pain in the butt to setup but that is vizio, it is also slow to respond.

Great Sound and Great Value
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We also bought an M series TV. I feel this TV is a great value for the price too. The picture is fantastic. The sound is not very robust but we also purchased this surround sound system with the TV. I think with both it is a great system. The sound system is easy to hook up and really sounds good. It links up automatically with my Vizio TV. Also a question I had that I answered after buying it, the rear speaker and sub are wireless to the front. So you don't need to run wires to the back of the room.

Perfect for a small room
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this soundbar system in my bedroom, hooked up to a Sony 55 inch 4K tv. The soundbar plays back Dolby Atmos soundtrack and DTS:X. The wireless subwoofer is small enough to be hidden behind a desk. Surround sound playback is surprisingly good for a smallish system. The only negative point I can find is the "thin" sound coming from the front left and right speakers. It's a good system as long as you're realistic with your expectations. You can't expect this soundbar to perform near the level of a fully discrete surround system. I have a surround system in my family room with eleven full range speakers and three subwoofers. Obviously, the Vizio soundbar system does not come close to the sonic properties of my family room system but that was to be expected. If installed in a small room, the Vizio will deliver a pleasurable listening experience.

Very impressed!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very impressed with this! I had an older Samsung home theater system before this, and I was getting sick of the wires all over. So after reading reviews I decided to try it. Set up was easy especially along with my 70" tv. I wasn't expecting a ton of sound, but it sounds great! The subwoofer does very well and the rear speakers sound great. It really fills the room. I watched a few 4k Dvds with Dolby Atmos. For the money I am very impressed it gets very loud and sounds great! My only complaint is the remote but with the vizio smartcast app I had makes it so much better!

They are pretty nice
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These sound awesome!!! Hopefully more software updates come out to fix the connectivity issues. A backlight remote would’ve been nice but besides that it works pretty. Would love to get another set for the bedroom but I’ll wait until they’re on sale again

Easy set up and install. sounds great
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy set up and install. sounds great especially for this price point. We used this to replace a very expensive fully wired surround sound system that was about 15 years old and high performance with 3 times the amount of speakers. We didn't expect much from this but wanted the bluetooth and wireless to clean up the living room's look. Worked perfect and sounds better than the older system we had. Still working great after over a year. very happy.

Vision 5.1.2 Channel Sound Bar
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price this system can't be beat. Easy set up, great sound. I wanted to replace my stereo with something cleaner and have Bluetooth ability so I can play music from my phone. This system fills my living room with great sound and compliments my 65" Samsung TV well.

Powerful and Deep bass . Surprisingly nice sound
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has wonderful powerful sound and bass ! The setup what pretty straightforward. The only negative is you just have to make sure that once set up you have to download the SmartCast app if truly want to unlock it full potential.

Great surround sound
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm torn about this sound bar. When you dial it in for your specific space, it sounds great. The bar itself emits a rich range of frequencies and the satellite speakers also sound good without being too tinny. The sub frequencies can be a bit obnoxious, less punchy and more constant rumble, so I keep it set pretty low. My only complaint stems from its inability to consistently handle dolby signals through the arc connection. It may just be an issue with my unit, but it's frustrating nonetheless. When watching any program that uses Dolby via Netflix, the specific light on the bar that indicates incoming signal type constantly turns on and off which cuts the sound signal for several seconds each time it happens. It can really ruin chunks of dialogue in films or TV shows. I have the bar paired with a 2017 P-series TV, so that shouldn't be the issue. Again, outside of this issue, it's a great buy for the price!

Straightforward and easy setup. Awesome sound.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This soundbar was so easy to set up! I used the HDMI ARC connection. This was purchased to add to our new SONY TV and the installation was very straightforward. Basically it is hardwired through the HDMI right to the TV and the soundbar connects to the subwoofer wirelessly. The "rear" speakers are connected to the soundbar using wires. Once the connections are made the SONY is smart enough to sense the sound bar and it automatically turns off the TV sound and uses the soundbar. Awesome! And sounds great.

Nice sound bar

Highly recommended sound system
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased in August for $330, thought it was a great deal until Black Friday lol However I would still give it a five star rating, giving the great sound quality for the budget. Never found another comparable 5-2-4 atoms system under $400 I do see a lot of complaints about auto turn off. The solution for me was: 1) turn off echo mode using the remote 2) use HDMI arc to connect, instead of Optical It never discount again after the above setup, hope it could help other people who met the same issue

Great hardware, what the heck is this software???
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To start, the setup is fairly straightforward. The sound bar supports ARC HDMI, so I recommend using and HDMI from your streaming device to the sound bar, and another from the sound bar to the TV HDMI ARC port. The subwoofer pairing is easy, and it must be plugged into a power outlet. The satellite speakers are not wireless, they plug into the subwoofer so plan for cable management. The satellite speakers have a very odd placement of input and speaker stand mounting hole. I tried two different speaker stands for them with multiple stand mount variations and they did not work for these speakers. You can not even use mounting tape because the bottom of these speakers have a rubber padding that does not allow 3m to stick to it. Very bad design Vizio. The sound on this set up is very good. If you find these on sale, I wouldn't think twice. The sound is definitely bass heavy, which is great for movies. The surround sound works great, and movies feel like you're at a theater, especially when in 4k HDR. the sound bar even projects sound off of your ceiling right to your couch so you can hear sounds above you as well. For music, you may have to use the EQ to adjust sound output due to too much bass and lack of treble. If you listen to HI RES music from Tidal, you will have to use HDMI or AUX from an external source, the casting feature for music doesn't cast in HI RES, but you already knew that. the software on this app is terrible. I have so many issues I don't know where to begin. To begin, the app for controlling this sound bar is recommended so you do not have to have 2 or 3 controllers. Even if you use HDMI ARC, when you turn the tv on the sound bar always defaults to HDMI, which means you can not control the sound bar volume with the TV remote. You have to set it to HDMI ARC every time you turn it on, from the app but the app is very glitchy resulting in closing and opening it several times. If you use Spotify to cast music onto the sound bar, the Vizio Cast remote app does not work, once in a while after 1349 times re-opening the app it will connect to the app. This means you have to change volume from Spotify itself, and you cant turn the subwoofer down, change the EQ, or set into night mode when you are casting from Spotify. You can however bypass most of these issues by using their actual remote, which they put no effort into designing because they assumed their app would work. The remote has a tiny screen so navigating their menu takes so long that its not worth it and I just ended up listening to my audio on whatever setting it changed to (I know what you are thinking, and I'm 24 not an old guy who cant see anymore). Overall, all of these small issues and bugs add up, if you have a great theater system (4k HDR streamer, 4k HDR TV) you want everything to JUST WORK. this product will disappoint and leave your frustrated in this regard. I would return this sound bar if it wasn't for the fact that I got it on sale for a very good price, and it sounds really good (when it wants to work)

Great product
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing product for its price. The dolby atmos function actually works well! If you know how to set it up according to how your room is setup. The hardware works great but the app sucks big time.

Best sound system for the price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Packaging was amazing. Overall setup was straight forward and gives many options on how to listen to the system. HDMI arc, optic, auxiliary, bluetooth, ethernet and even RCA for older setups. Having an apartment It overpowers my needs, but the sound quality is amazing for the price compared to higher end products. Complete control on bass, subwoofer, treble, even speaker volume output so I can adjust it to my best suited wants or needs. I would highly recommend this product to anyone!

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this on sale for a great price so that factors in my review. Great Soundbar System
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this setup. I looked at several surround sound setups before going with this one and I'm very happy with it. The setup and the sound adjustments were easy to do. The sound output really does surround even in larger rooms, like where I have this setup. This makes watching shows and movies so much better. I even like how I can connect it to my Google Nest Home and play use my voice to place music from it as another use for the setup. Overall, I'm very happy with this.

Pleasing sound, bad connectivity
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using this soundbar and surround system in my living room for about one and a half months now. I've noticed the subwoofer and rear satellite speakers more often than not, fail to turn on or transmit sound. I find this irritating especially based on the cost of this system. As far as the sound (when all of the speakers/subwoofer are actually working) is pleasing. I am satisfied with the sound, not with the connectivity of the wireless subwoofer/ satellite speakers.
