great sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this has great sound with my p series tv. has alot of base. and my tv supports dolby atmos and digital dolby. make sure you get a high end HDR - HDMI cable. and be careful not to crank too high you will be deaf. only thing bad is the rear cables to back speakers are chincy. i replace with high end rca cables and it does not come with mounts for rear speakers (amazon-10 bucks). also you supposed to have a ceiling not cathedral to get the most out of it.

Great Price for Great Product
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had no issues or concerns with this Vizio system. I was worried for the price that quality would sacrifice but no. It’s a really great sounding system for Dolby Atmos. You can obviously get better but also at a higher price. I bought this right before Christmas for a great price and couldn’t be happier. This system really shines with a Dolby Atmos supported movie. If you don’t want to shell out the big bucks for high end Dolby Atmos then you won’t be disappointed in this Vizio system.

Sound is great for the $, BUT
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DON’T count on the passthru HDMI. It’s been unreliable since I bought this. It blacks out and reconnects at random intervals; sometimes 8-sec, sometimes 10+min. I’ve used a pile of different HDMI cables that I know work. I’ve also hooked up: Apple TV 4K with HDR/Atmos on/off, PS4 Pro at all 4K settings as well as 1080p, Nintendo Switch 1080p/720p. The Switch is far more reliable than the others, but I can’t exactly nail down what triggers it, so I just use this through ARC from the TV. Also, I’ve set it to auto-update and I manually check now/again as well, so it’s not an outdated firmware. For ARC, it’s great. Sound is good/full for the price. Remote works fine, but phone app is easier for finer settings/adjustments. And, with my setup at least, this sound bar requires no audio delay adjustments for any ARC/HDMI-in.

Excellent Entry Level Soundbar
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product, the Vizio 5.1.2, produces excellent sound quality that fills the room with is two up firing speakers, two satellite speakers & subwoofer. The 6in subwoofer took me by surprise within the first few seconds of playing music, a movie and etc. The setup was painless as the connection between the two satellite speakers and subwoofer to the sounder & then to tv was instant. I was able to purchase this item for $350 using the price match guarantee and I believe for that price, it is the #1 soundbar for its class. I have had some issues with audio cut outs while playing movies from my 4K FireStick as well as the smartcast from my Vizio P65-F1. I have not found where the problem lies which has been frustrating but I would still recommend this product to anyone looking for a Dolby Atmos home theater.

Vizio 5.2
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Box was all beat to hell. Never the less, it works from what I've seen. Quite easy to set up, cords look long enough to get set up as surround, it gives great sound. Love it so far!

Sound Problem
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the sound was great and easy to assemble for some reason the sound kept going in and out . It went out more frequent in other applications like netflix > youtube but the problem was still present. It happened several times over an hour and who can honestly say that isnt annoying. Further reasearch showed other consumers have had this same issue with this brand and model #. If it werent for the sound going in and out it wouldve got 5stars. Other then that the bass was nice and it was pretty loud and the surround sound was also great for movies and shows.

Vizio Soundbar system
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound is good, was a pain to setup on an older TV. Also annoying when you pause for too long, you then need to unplug the power and plug it back in to get the surround sound working again

Love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm shocked with the level of sound coming from this system. My setup is with the subwoofer and rear speakers in front, and watching the intro to Tenacious D In: The Pick of Destiny replicates the surround sound. I'm enjoying this system so far. I would rather give 4 stars instead of 5 because the sound bar has ARC instead of eARC; however, it is my fault for not fully researching. For the price, this is an awesome system.

VIZIO HIT A HOMERUN WITH THIS SYSTEM
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This surround system really adds an Incredible Sound to any home, bringing the theater experience to you. Was extremely happy with the ease of the setup and was provided all the cables to choose the best option for the equipment I had at home. The App makes this system easy to operate from anywhere in the house. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this system to anyone looking to bring the Dolby Atmos experience to your movie nights at home.

Very good for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound is very good for the price and the surround works very well . It is possible I got a bad unit?
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this to replace my VIZIO SB4051-D5 (wanted to move my D5 to another room. Ended up returning the 5.1.2. The sound was very tinny even after hours of calibration through the app. The Dolby Atmos worked decently, but all other content (which is a majority of everything else people can watch) was very tinny and and just generally didn't sound good. my SB4051-D5 sounded WAY better, and I've not even calibrated or configured it in any way. Overall, if you don't have a soundbar, give this one a shot. It is possible I got a bad unit. At its sale price of $299 it is a steal for an Atmos enabled unit.

Posted .Hello vrixiun, VIZIO’s Sound Bar audio systems are designed to give you a realistic theater experience. You should hear the bass rumble during explosions, planes flying, earthquakes, action scenes, and anything that would normally have a deep tone. You may not get these tones when watching something like a sitcom or the nightly news. Sorry you did not have this experience, if your decide to purchase another VIZIO in the future please reach out to our customer support with any questions.

Great sounding system and listening experience
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was going to buy a 3.1 system to save some money but noticed this one was on sale and very well reviewed. I spend a little more than I wanted to but it was worth it. Set up is pretty easy except for syncing with the app. That was a little confusing but glad I did it. It's so much easier to make changes on the fly with the app. I like the fact I can watch tv with great sound and it doesn't bother everyone in the building.

Nice Atmos sound system for a decent price
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned this sound system for almost a year now. The one feature atmos has that other sound systems don't is the upward firing speakers. With me having a low flat ceiling in my basement, those speakers really project off the ceiling well and all around me. While I'm not going to say its top of the line, I wouldn't expect it at this price, hence why I'm giving it 4/5 stars. For what it is I believe it does a great job and will satisfy someone who wants to stream the latest episodes on Disney+ in the Mandalorian (it was actually the first show I tested Dolby Vision on my 4k tv with and the Dolby Atmos sound) or stream another similar show that has Dolby atmos qualities.

Better sound quality for hard-of-hearing men
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We really like sound quality and frequency range the Visio 5.1 2-channel soundbar we purchased with our new Visio 55-inch smartset. Like many men, I'm hard of hearing in the higher frequencies and the relatively tiny audio speakers even in larger sets simply can't produce the bass notes I need to clearly hear and understand. I also like the component layout lots better than our old one with wires running all around the room.

Big price sound for HALF the money $$$$
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review...I fell in love with my Vizio TV I have a Samsung and a Sony which are both nice tv’s but the Vizio still the best picture and least expensive..The same applies to this Dolby Atmos sound bar for under $500 ..I originally bought a smaller Bose soundbar and to be fair to Bose it didn’t have rear speakers or a subwoofer..To by the Bose with the same features I would have spent $1500..This Vizio produces amazing full room sound for a third of the price !!!

Great Bang for your buck!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was $500 on sale for $300. Grabbed it open box in excellent shape for $260. WHAT A DEAL!! I immediately noticed the immersive audio with Atmos quality. I just got a Dolby Vision tv for my apartment on black Friday and this is the PERFECT sound accessory for it! I feel like I'm at the movies when I watch a 4k UHD or any Blu rays that have Atmos/DTS-X encoding. Highly recommended for great sound on a budget! Built in Chromecast is awesome for Spotify, etc.

Top notch Soundbar
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Spent months looking for a soundbar system. Came across this based off good reviews. With Covid had to make the in home experience better for movies and shows and this doesn’t disappoint. Just annoying setting up with Apple TV as it shuts off the system when you turn the tv off then has issues connecting again but that’s more of an Apple product issue. Other than that, great sound, good bass, can’t complain

LOVE IT
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decided to upgrade over my 6 yr old vizio soundbar, and man I'm glad I went with this one. The sound is such and upgrade. To be able to hear the background noise, like it's literally behind you. To hear a door open, long before the persons who opened it come on screen. The volume is higher then what I had, and that subwoofer has some serious vibration. I have an LG OLED, so I had the necessary HDMI ARC port on my tv. Great buy, especially for the price.

Excellent soundbar that supports Dolby Atmos
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only 5.1.2 that supports Dolby Atmos that I found online. The sound quality is amazing. The surround speakers with sub woofer are wirelessly connected to the main bar and they work without any audio lag whatsover. The Dolby Atmos and the surround effects this speaker produces are amazing!!! You will not be disappointed! The vizio phone app sucks but you can control everything using it's remote. Make sure your TV has an HDMI ARC in it's back!!!
