The sound is surprisingly good ! A bit surprised given several 2 star reviews on here. Pro : Easy set up, very good bass. Great for movies !! Cons : Not ideal for music

This thing does everything you need it to do and more.It has good sound and great bass.Does everything you need it to do and has adjustable settings for it all using the remote.The separate subwoofer really packs a punch if that what you’re into.I know that’s what I love personally. To be fair,I gave it a 4/5 because the hdmi it came with I thought was cheap and I went and got a gold plated hdmi wire to give it that proper connection and it seemed like the sound was just being delivered so much better.Worth every penny though! If you buy it...at the price range given,I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

First off the speakers sound GREAT IF you can get them to work. Everything thing was great when I first hooked it up, then about 2 1/2 week I just stopped working correctly. I bought these speakers and so did my daughter and we BOTH have the same issue. When I turn on my tv the lights on the speakers come on so I know the speakers are on but I get NO SOUND I have to turn them off and on several times or reset them to get them to work buy the time I get them working I have missed 1/4 of my show. I have a 65 inch Samsung tv and my daughter has a 65 inch LG tv that maybe 2 years old we both have the speakers plugged into the HDMI ARC on our TVs I am using a fire stick and my daughter is using a Roku it doesn’t matter if we are using a streaming service or if we are just using the tv antenna it just will not work when turning on. Visio also has an app that doesn’t work either. When I can get the sound to work it sounds great. Music is really nice but getting it to work is such a PAIN! No I would not purchase these speakers again

Bought this as I was trying to save from spending too much on a sonos and man was I pleasantly surprised. This sound bar is amazing. only down fall is that the volume moves up and down in odd numbers. So 3 is the minimal volume other than 0. I wish it was actual increments of 1 so I can have better control of level of sound when needing it low. This truly is an amazing buy and an amazing product

Great sound bar system for the price. Highs are crisp and great bass. Great color scheme also. Also very high volume of needed. Remote not the greatest

The rear speakers are powered by the subwoofer. The subwoofer connects WIRELESSLY to the sound bar. Meaning no wires need to be run from the front of the room to the rear. Can't tell you how awesome that is. I was looking at the $800 Sonos bar which wouldn't have even been surround sound as it doesn't have rear speakers. At less than half the cost, this thing is amazing.

Just installed and I am amazed by the sound. This is a great buy. I have one issue and that is the remote. This needs work.

The Vizio soundbar sounds great for a small apartment. You feel the bass and you hear the creepiness if behind you. My 2 gripes are the remote and the soundbar will cut off while looking at TV or even start lowering the volume but I do not even touch the remote. The record screen is so small it is hard to see in the daylight and you will need a flashlight to view it when light levels are low. There value for the money I desk with it as I am happy with my purchase but could be better.

I don't know if I have a bad remote but it's very hard to see the display on the remote, so I said remote is garbage. Once you get the app set up on your phone the settings are pretty nice. Unfortunately the EQ presets are very limited, but you can customize the base treble and other settings through the app. I'm glad to have a Dolby Atmos system that works properly the first time unlike my expensive Sony HT z9f. I did have to turn on night mode because the vocals were very quiet compared to the rest of the sound. I also was expecting to see it on my TV.

Good sound quality, obtuse set-up. There is a somewhat noticeable delay when playing games with it unless its set to Direct sound and wired through the optical input. The sound quality through optical in other apps and streaming services leaves something to be desired so there is an awful lot of input switching. Switching inputs is easy through the remote but it still feels somewhat aged despite being relatively modern. When you find your flow and settings for it however there really isn't a better sound in this price range.

Best sound bar I ever owned. Price was great, sounds amazing & if you don't pay strict attention to the installation manual, you won't get it to work. It isn't difficult to work with, you just have to make sure you read everything. I'm very satisfied with my purchase, I like Vizio products. It would be wrong to have a Vizio TV and not buy a Vizio sound bar. I'm happy that I did.

This sound bar cuts out and just flat out doesnt play the sound through HDMI sometimes. For the price I would have hopped they could have made a system that works fully. When it does play audio, it sounds great. Then the audio cuts out and you go back to wondering what happened to Vizio's quality control. I had another sound bar from them for 5 years and upgraded to this only to find out I may have downgraded due to the terrible connectivity.

I purchased this model on sale for $299 from the original MSRP of $499. This setup mind you is for a bedroom 10'x12' connected to a 55" Samsung QLED Q7 and I'm very impressed by the surround sound and the bass from a 6" subwoofer. Every cord needed is provided. Very easy to set up/link to Vizio App. This model does have a 4K pass-through for the XBOX. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

a very good system from vizio for the price. this brand has improved a great deal. This soundbar has a rich balanced sound and allow for a good amount of adjustment on sub, center and sat speaker levels. The atmos is not the best but overall a great entry level. Be sure to connect to internet/smartphone app and do updates before you first use because it can tend to be buggy. I find a wired ethernet connection works best for me but wifi work ok. Every few months my ARC drops function and i have to unplug the soundbar for a few seconds, this may just be a communication issue across brands with my samsung curve tv.

Excellent system for the price. Have it set up in a large master bedroom 16 x 16. It sounds amazing. I wouldn't reccomend for any room larger than 16 x 16. That is just my preference. You definitely would need a 10 or 12 inch sub for a larger room. The onky thing im disappointed with is the remote has no backlight for the lcd screen.

Dolby Atmos makes you feel like you're in the theaters! We paired this with our LG OLED and watched a movie that supports Dolby Atmos and Vision and OMG. The experience is jaw dropping! The immersion the system provides is just like your actuality in the movie. Why spend more when this system can hold its own against far more expensive systems.

3 stars for the quality of sound u can experience. But the sad thing is it has intermittent connection. Sound bar disconnects every time you turn on your tv, or even if your tv is on and if you're not watching anything it still manages to disconnect. Not sure why it does that. I tried turning off eco power mode but it still does the same. There seems to be no fix for this. Such a pity for a soundbar that has a decent sound quality and dolby atmos to have issues like this. Dissapointed.

When it works it’s great. I’ve enjoyed using this system for my main tv. The issue that I’m running into is that it doesn’t always play audio right away. I may have to turn off then on or switch inputs a few times then it will magically connect. It can definitely be frustrating at times but the sound once on is really darn good. I still may return it once klipsch has their full surround soundbar set but it works well for now.

Absolutely amazed by the impact of this sound system on our TV viewing experience. Easily pairs with our Vizio TV and delivers a phenomenal theater experience to our 15x14 foot family room. I cant say enough about the value and price. The only reason for 4 stars over 5 is that it almost always requires us to turn off the TV and turn it back on for the audio to work. Not sure how to fix it, and its fine to live with, but its an annoyance and makes it hard for someone not from our family to understand how to work the TV.

Exceeded expectations. Great sound at a great price point. Only a few issues. 1) when not in use it disconnect with the TV and it can take a few tries to get it connect again. 2) The Vizio App for the sound bar if very wonky and the customer service experience was interesting to say the least, but overall a great purchase with beautiful sound.
