This is a really good theater sound from a reasonably priced unit. We tried a Polk 3.1 system and a Walmart 5.1 premium brand with disappointing sound. We returned both. Once we purchased the Vizio 5.1 and hooked it up (simple set up!) we were good to go. We would definitely recommend this. Definitely the best bang for your buck.

The instructions are very simple and easy to follow. The system automatically connected to my television remote. I did have issues at first syncing everything so I called the customer service center and we quickly resolved the issue within minutes. The sound is phenomenal and I know other people who also own this system.

I love this sound bar but am facing this minor issues but I live with it. My TV is connected through HDMI ARC and when I turn on the TV & Sound Bar, first time you wont be hearing anything. Later I have to restart the sound bar then only it will work. Similarly there is a log on playing the sound after a silence. Not sure whether these are fixable and if yes, then it is really a great sound bar

The complete installation was fairly easy, considering it's a Vizio soundbar connecting to a Vizio TV. The settings are easy to set up as well with sound. Sound quality is really good! Subwoofer definitely has a kick. Sometimes I forget how loud the sound can be that I have already gotten complaints from neighbors. Only fault I have is that the connection is sometimes interrupted, or disconnected, depending on what the main source of sound is connected. (Xbox or TV, but can't be both.)

EZ set up, sounds quite good. Only wish the remote menu would light up words. hard to see in dark room to select items.

I had the JBL 3.1 soundbar and sold it. Then I watched many reviews on these Vizio soundbars. I wanted Atmos but not wanting to pay at least 800 dollars to get it. This soundbar sounds amazing! The subwoofer sounds great to be only 6” and the added speakers in the back are great for watching movies

I have never owned a sound bar system before but I have and still own a 3.1 surround sound system and let me tell you, the difference is night and day. With this system you really feel like you are being submersed in the game you are playing or the movie you are watching. Also the Dolby Atoms helps a lot! UwU

This system is Awesome! The sounds comes from everywhere. Rich and bold sound that fills the man cave. Setup was easy. I hooked it up to my ARC hdmi and updated the sound bar everything was up and running. I love the fact I can control every aspect of the system though my smart phone. Good job Vizio!

It has sleek features to fit in every space with the high quality sound that blend to your big screen tv and you look like you have your own theater at home. Not to mention the good price for the high quality and sophistication look that it contain. It’s a good buy for all family for good entertainment.

We absolutely love this system. We are not vizio fans by nature but this particular one we heard in the store and fell in love with it!!!! Sound is super awesome and Clear. It sounds like you are actually in whatever movie you are watching. Bass is fantastic! Would definitely buy again.

These sound great in the virtual atmos sound mode. The actual feature sucks though. The top facing speakers don't really do anything. The overall volume of the system goes down when they're enabled. The virtual mode only uses three of the front facing speakers on the soundbar, but mixes the audio really nicely with the rear speakers. Kind of defeats the purpose of paying extra for the actual atmos configuration. I guess that anyone expecting real dolby atmos sound will need to bolt speakers to their ceilings. Oh and the vizio app sucks. It doesn't work half the time and only controls the same options that are on the remote but in a really janky way. The levels jump around as you try and adjust them. Oh and the google assistant integration and casting functionality stink. You have to upgrade the firmware to get them semi functional and casting barely ever works consistently. The volume also shoots up to 100% when casting. If I can say one thing about this product, it's that music sounds great on them. The system separates vocals and instrumentals between the front and rear speakers. I'd definitely recommend using stereo settings on your main system and letting these speakers do the rest. Actual dolby surround sound doesn't sound all that great. Good luck finding anything with an Atmos soundtrack.

Ultimately returned this due to some weird issues with my Hisense tv. I'm not sure if the TV or the sound bar was to blame. But I will say when the sound was working on this, it sounded really good to me. im an amateur when it comes to sound, but ive heard way more expensive sound bars that didnt sound as good. The dolby atmos didnt blow my socks off like i thought it would, but it was cool

This Has to be one of the best sound bars I’ve ever heard, given the price that you buy it for. Dolby Atmos gives it such a boost of sound quality in your room or home theater, it feels like you’re in the world of the movie. My friends who come over are astonished by the sound quality and stay over to enjoy movie nights. If you want to while your friends and family, I totally recommend this. Overall, Vizio is a wonderful company. The installation was super easy, the subwoofer is wireless and connects right away to the sound bar. The installation for the back speakers was also easy, as I screwed in little brackets to hold the speakers on the wall. One thing I will say that disappoints me is the fabric used on each speaker, it’s soft and waves smudges every time you touch it. It’s also hard to clean them when you leave stains on the fabric. I just wish the fabric was made stronger. Overall this is a wonderful product for your home theater.

I upgraded from an older soundbar from Sony. I actually went to Best Buy interested in a higher end Dolby Atmos soundbar but settled on this. Over a year later we continue to be blown away by the sound this produces. It definitely helps that it has rear speakers. Audiophiles may caution against the wireless subwoofer (which the rear speakers connect to) but we've never seen any issue with it, it's always worked flawlessly with the soundbar. The hardware producing the sound makes a difference - streaming an Xbox with Microsoft's Dolby Atmos software is a night and day difference than TV smart app streaming for both video and audio. This was easily my best and smartest purchase of 2020, it's totally worth it even not on sale. This has completely blown my past experiences with soundbars out of the water, and we have not really even used half of the volume it can output.

This a really nice sound bar for the price. The wireless speakers are working great, I haven't experience any disconnect from sound bar and bass. The quality of the sound is great, Doubly Atmos is awesome! The only reason I took one star away is: when you use HDMI Arc, you have to switch to another audio option and then come back to hdmi arc for the sound to start. If you use digital audio, you won't experience this problem.

The sound quality is great on the bar and speakers. Sometimes it will disconnect for no reason though.

Cheap and good Atmos for the masses. It’s cheap, it does Dolby Atmos in a good fashion. It does surround sound in a good fashion. It is not great or the best at any of the things it does When it gets a firmware update you may have to restart it by pulling the power plug. Do this if you experience any handshake or starting issues.

Great surround sound system. Atmos is a great perk. The wiresless subwoofer with the read speakers attached allows for some great setups. Its perfect for medium sized living room. Vizio app and controller is nice as well.
