I’m on my THIRD unit, second from Best Buy and the third was sent from vizio. Even with eco power shut off and installed with the help of vizio over the phone, this unit keeps powering off by itself but will then turn back on when I hit the volume up button. It’s extremely annoying after paying a good amount of money for a “premium” product with Dolby atmos (which is incredible) that it doesnt work correctly.

Pros: sounds good, best entry level home theater system cons: some times it disconnects when you turnoff tv.

Hey there yes you the one reading reviews. I was you at one point for this product. I thought oh the bad reviews are likely just some bad customer service or one-off issues. Well, I am here to let you know I have now have 2 of these sound systems. 1 new, 1 certified replacement, and they are likely going to give me a new one as a third attempt with I do not expect to work any differently. Also, customer support tends to not submit requests although they are saying they have so you have to call in and double-check. Customer support has been such an issue for me during this process I am now working directly with an executive to troubleshoot my issues. For reference, I am using this soundbar with a Vizio Smartcast TV and have had no issues with other soundbars in the past. I am using primarily HDMI-ARC to connect as it is recommended and the best option. 1st soundbar - System firmware updates are whenever it wants even midshow. Numerous firmware flashing was done to be able to connect the soundbar to the wifi. Switch to use the optical connection, this was worse and turned off more often. Eco mode was off, as advised so when audio plays the soundbar should turn on relatively quick. Typically, it won't even turn on. When this happens you have to unplug the soundbar and hold the power button for 5 seconds. Also, it would randomly turn off during shows and it turned off anytime you paused tv steaming services available through Vizio's TV including Netflix, Hulu, youtube, anything with audio would turn the soundbar off when paused. 2nd soundbar - Vizio would only replace my new soundbar with a certified warranty replacement. This to me is unacceptable, those should be sent to be resold in-store at a lower cost. However, I was stuck with it. Unable to get the Wifi to connect again, I gave up as I did not expect to keep it for very long. Using HDMI-ARC again the same main issues with sound. The soundbar will turn off as it chooses, when the tv is paused, and typically will not turn back on when audio begins playing again. Which again with Eco mode off any audio reaching the device should auto turn on the soundbar to the correct audio input. This does not happen. At the end of the day, this system for the price has amazing sound. But the amount of issues with firmware I would classify this product as useless. Worth $100 if that.

While not the top of the line this sound bar will bring good sound to your movies. The Thanksgivng holiday price was great as well.

Good budget soundbar especially for surround, but there are issues with Atmos and input recognition. At times I had to cycle through the inputs for the soundbar to receive signal. Atmos is not recognized from the Xbox Series X, even with the app. The remote is basic and not very user friendly. The soundbar is loud enough even for a big room.

Pretty easy setup overall. The rear speakers are kind of weak, but that still works fine for my smaller room.

i really appreciate this system, enjoying it to the fullest, i would like to thank the two geek squad employees on the weekend for coming out and getting this assembled for me, their expertise was top notch,in other words fantastic, creme dela creme, which is a french word meaning the very best.

Works great for my living room which is pretty big when combined with dining area. It has great power & very good dialog clarity. Watching movies makes it feel like theater. Since most of the content currently is non-Atmos, the virtual height speaker option activates the upward firing speakers & gives you even more theater effects. In-built chromecast is not so easy to use. Auto sleep on/off (when no signal is received) doesn't turn on the speaker automatically sometimes. You will have to manually turn on the speaker on those occasions.

I was looking for a soundbar for the bedroom. My wife ain't the biggest fan of my living room setup (towers + huge center) so started looking for something smaller. Came across this product that checked all the boxes I was looking for: Small form factor, Dolby Atmos.

Excellent sound but with connectivity issues with my TCL - 65" Class 8 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Roku TV. No a lot of highs for listening to music, but the sound is solid and good enough for a small room. The remote is soooo weak! Terrible. I've still been unable to find the app to bypass the need for the default remote control. But, overall, not a bad sound for the price .

Man this sound system is the best I’ve ever gotten/listen to. It feels like I’m at the movie theaters! Thanks to the Dolby Atmos sound.

Sound is great does need settings tweaked for preference and the little satelite speakers are very clear and powerful for the size

I upgraded from Vizio 5.1 soundbar and simply Loved this Atmos 5.1.2 one, the sound have become enrich with better mid level, so more clearer sound. Very limited Atmos content over streaming, whenever it's green LED it's Atmos and sound does feel reflecting from roof. It does support Atmos over hdmi-arc from lg oled tv... Loved it..value for money

I upgraded from the vizio sound bar of 2015. What a great upgrade I have this setup in my bedroom with the rear speakers on my nightstand and it sounds awesome. I customized each speakers volume level to my liking and it really is great for movies or TV works well with HDR and atmos is cool and adds a new dimension of sound as well. The remote is still lacking as it is exactly the same as the 2015 model I had

These speakers emit powerful and clear audio with all the movies, shows, and music/radio. I like that the surround connects to the subwoofer allowing me to set up the surround sound without routing cables from the TV area. These speakers enhance the experience of watching the 4K 5.1 surround system films.

The sound of the bar is decent. But the automatic update seems to bring trouble with settings.
