This sound is great. The only problem I have is when I want to watch something the connection takes a little while to work. I usually have to shut it off or restart the device I’m using. It comes with enough accessories to connect to multiple devices. You can set it up easy with the mobile app just be patient and read the instructions.

I haven’t noticed the height channel, but otherwise the sound is amazing! The only thing that I’m having issues with is that when first turning on the tv, it isn’t playing sound. I need to cycle to another input and back to Arc to get it working.

I compared a lot of Atmos 5.1 sound bars. This one had decent customer reviews but high critics reviews (CNET I’m looking at you). Trust the customer reviews. This unit was ok but had some issues that made me ultimately return it. For starters, it would frequently glitch while transitioning audio source format. For example watching a movie on Disney* with Atmos would sometimes be silent. The only fix would be to restart the bar. The mid-range sound was also very weak (if any at all) to the point where voices off screen could barely be heard. I messed around with the app, which was nice to have, but no luck. The app also ran pretty slow at times. Now to nitpick... they really need a Text volume and source indicator on the bar rather than just a few lights. The last big annoyance, volume increments are in 2 or 3. So when turning it down you go straight from 10, 8, 5, 3, 0. Why in God’s name does it go in those increments? Why not just make level 3 a 1 and 5 a 2? That’s like Spinal Tap’s amp that goes to 11!

Vizio has made a system that is easy to hook up in maybe 10 minutes that sounds amazing. The bass and treble on this system is so clear, it's like movie theater quality. It has all the cords you need to hook up your other components, too.

It sounds great and it is Dolby atmos. You cant get a better one for the price.

We have this in our living room downstairs maybe 15 ft or so away from the sitting area. It was bought to replace my Bose Cinemate SR1. Obvious drop in sound quality, but it does the job well enough and didn't break the bank. Sound from the subwoofer can be a little spotty at times (maybe due to interference), but other than that I have no real complaints almost a year later.

It was time for an upgrade from my ancient optical DD equipment and this unit did not disappoint! Make sure to use an appropriate HDMI/ARC cable like the one provided in the box. The rear surrounds connect to the wireless sub too!

For a wireless sound bar, this is by far one of the best sounds. That have booming base, without seeing the wires everywhere. good for a bedroom setup or even a living room. Will purchase again

I must say, I am impressed with the sound from this small bar system. Huge improvement over the speakers built into the tv. Sounded better in my house than it did at the store. Very surprised at the quality considering the cost.

Was very nervous to pick up this Vizio Sound Bar, but I took a risk and I loved it. Only down fall is the remote sucks! You have to download the app which took a moment to sync. Front end of sound bar has no screen, therefore you cannot see what functions you’re using. Remote has no backlight- again you can’t see what you access in options in the dark.

The system sounds better than the previous surround sound system I had and with less speakers too. A reasonable price for what I got and it was on sale as well. Definitely a good purchase I’d suggest to other people.

Easy to setup with good sound quality. Sleek modern design.

This thing is amazing...when it works, which to be fair, is most of the time. The problem is, when it doesn't the audio from the center speaker just drops and doesn't seem to fix itself unless we reset it or we change the output type in the Vizio app, which itself doesn't always work. We will be watching shows on Netflix, Hulu, HBO, etc. and at the start of a new episode, boom, the sound is gone. We have tried everything, but it always seems to come back to that. Also, there seems to be an issue when the TV comes on via the ARC connection. It will intermittently flash between external and internal speaker options, which delays it from actually starting, not sure what's going on here but it is frustrating and we don't really know what to do. If you can get a 5.1.4, our friends have it and it doesn't seem to have these issues, but if you want to have a great sound system sometimes, make sure this is on sale if you choose to gamble on it.

I could not be more happy with the purchase. Set up I had a few struggles, but after reading the directions, everything went smooth. Sound is fantastic whether I'm listening to music or watching a movie. And I can control it all with my phone!

The dolby difference is excellent good job vizio!

Excellent choice for price - works with apple and Alexa products too

It's been about 6 weeks now and we have really been enjoying this new soundbar system. Really simple setup. Lots of options for you to dial everything in just how you like it. It paired almost instantly on its own with my Roku TV's remote. Satellite speakers and sub work great and fill the room with sound. This system really makes it sound like we have a theater in our living room. We love it. Once you turn off the "energy saving" feature, you don't have to worry about the soundbar turning off when you are not expecting it to. That feature is the only slight negative that I can think of for this system. And the work-around is simple. You can easily just turn that feature off from the remote. Directions are easy to understand. Not bad on the price, either. Get it!
