Although the sound bar does have MAJOR issues connect to Bluetooth after initial setup. I’ve tried everything. • turn off and on • reset device • update firmware • delete app and reinstall • exchanges the device for a new one. Still having the same issue. • called tech support. Little to no help, just told me that the sound bar is new and that I would have to wait for a firmware update

The instructions are not clear at all and after trying for 2 days I was able to figure out everything. But the smart cast app was very poor and slow. The build quality of this sound bar is not sturdy. So I returned it ans exchanged for Samsung sound bar which is way way better than this in terms or sound quality, build and ease of setup.

Posted .Hi Prithysh, sorry to hear that you had issues setting up this soundbar. VIZIO strives to make setup as easy as possible. Generally, with this model, we'd recommend using the included HDMI cable and connect it directly to the port on your TV labeled HDMI-ARC. After that, the devices will automatically detect each other and begin playing. You shouldn't need to use the SmartCast app at all if you'd prefer not too, it's just an add on for consumers who like to control all of their VIZIO devices from an app on their phone or tablet.

Reason being surround sound speakers dont really put out that much volume even when you turn them up. Its great for movies but I would recommend getting the bigger brother version the 5.1.4 because this surround sound system sounds way better than 5.1.2. Only downfall to both is when you play music because it doesnt sound clear and it uses too much bass. Overall not a bad soundbar for the price.
