Great sound but set up issues

I connected it through HDMI ARC and Sony TV discovers it. However, the sound bar only turns on with TV half the time. I have disabled night off and power saving modes on it but still the issue persists. I always have to circle through inputs on remote for it to produce sound.

Nice system for the price

Also, if you try to turn the system off, it will turn itself back on and the bluetooth is a little spotty. The setup can be a little annoying as well. It took a while to connect to my iPad, but connected quickly to my phone . Overall, I am still happy with the system based on the sound and price.
