Perfect for medium size living room

I’m sure some would want it even louder, but let’s be honest, who can get away with that. It so loud, I can only turn it up when no one else is at home, or we listen to music while cleaning the house lol. Perfect for the price.

Great Value for Dolby Atmos

If you are planning on using this with HDMI-ARC and a gaming platform expect issues with voice syncing. PS4/5 and Xbox Series X have less issues when using a HDMI receiver with multiple ins, and one out.

Good bar, bad app setup

But still, be extremely wary. This is not a plug and play friendly device. I build PCs for fun and am I’m very deep with technology. Literally only worked with a Samsung tv with only one other connection to a Fire TV cube. However, absolutely incompatible with Sony TV and Xfinity cable box with an Apple TV 4K. This thing will constantly disconnect, not even power up, won’t play sound not sometimes but FREQUENTLY. We had an OLD Samsung 5 disc changer surround sound home theater setup with towers until that kicked the bucket and EVEN THAT on MODERN SYSTEMS, worked FINE with no issues. Good products don’t need a whole lot of work, and don’t need to be unplugged and plugged back in from power to have it get re-recognized/registered with whatever it’s plugged into. Vizio therefore continues with terrible product quality and most likely software compatibility. Samsung sound bar hooked up to all of it, no issues totally fine. Also the Vizio sound bar, will turn off after idle for x amount of minutes, essentially screwing up all the other connection requiring you to.. manually restart by completely unplugging it and plugging it back in. The sound quality is still good and is fine, but with all the gripes with getting it to connect and stay connected. IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. The ONLY reason to buy this is if you have a Vizio TV with VERY LIMITED connections. IE, Vizio Tv, Vizio soundbar and that’s it. Maybe try it with a streaming device and see if it works. But still overall I literally cannot recommend this product to anyone that doesn’t know what they’re doing. The amount of time and times I’ve had to reconnect it because less tech savvy people tried using the TV (mothers/aunts/grandparents) but when I realized it WASNT them, was when I knew. This product is not user friendly or good UNLESS you have a TV or anything else that is 100000% compatible. But even with everything said and done. When I had to initially set it up. Still, just don’t recommend. Buy a real name brand who has a higher reputation of good products that just WORK. Samsung still remains my favorite in this regard. It still could be the issue with Sony TV but, in reality. No, it’s got Arc. Everything is plugged in correctly and has been tested and used multiple times. But the thing is, it only works OCCASIONALLY. You’re not gonna want to hire a worker who shows up and works 30% of the time right? Even if they do a good job when they’re working. They’re only there 30% of the time.

Sound is good, but stopped working after 1 year

It would always turn off after it had been on for a while, even if we were still watching TV. This happened even after we turned off the eco function. That was annoying, but it sounded great. However, 1 year and 2 months after purchase, several inputs stopped working. Got a new optical audio cable because we thought it was the cable—nope, it’s the soundbar. HDMI ARC stopped working as well. We still get sound but now we have to go through an annoying process of turning down the TV and manually turning up the sound bar, otherwise we get sound playing from both. We can’t control the soundbar sound with TV remote anymore like we used to. It’s been a huge hassle, honestly. If I could turn back time I would get a different brand, or at least purchase the 4 year protection.

Buyer Beware!

But, it only worked for about 20 minutes. After powering off the unit, coming back later and turning it on, it will not connect to ANYTHING via Bluetooth anymore. I’ve followed all of the manual instructions, and reset the unit several times. Bluetooth apparently doesn’t work anymore. WORST piece of GARBAGE that I have ever purchased! Staying FAR away from VIZIO!!!

Serious connectivity issues

If you plan to use HDMI ARC then I hope you enjoy fiddling with this thing on a near daily basis. Its constantly losing CEC connection with the TV, which means no sound until you get it to connect again or revert to TV speakers. I've called Vizio tech support so many times and they get it working for awhile but it always loses connection again. They've sent me a new soundbar, same issue. Using it with a brand new Hisense H9G TV. From a quick Google search this is a known issue, stay away! Vizio will do nothing but continue to send you refurbished soundbars but this is an obvious design flaw.

Amazing

It’s amazing and moves and does really well on music. I’ve compared this to high end soundbars and some were better sounding, but they didn’t fill up the room with as wide of a sound stage compared to this one.

Could be better if it was taken care of

Went in for pick up took about 20 minutes to get through the line to have them go search for it as it was not ready for pick up yet. They bring the box out and it looks like it has been ran over several times, but knowing Vizio they pack it well on the inside too so i took it home that i just moved into so I didn't have time to set it up right away. Get it hooked up about 30 days later which is right on the Best Buy return policy time frame as i didn't have the money to purchase the extended warranty, and the unit seems to play fine at first but then i get some strange loud sounds, so i updated the firmware. Firmware update fixed that issue now it cuts out video and audio signal once in a great while. All my cables and other equipment are 4k hdr hdcp 2.2 compliant and work fine as i have used them on my other setup to verify it all during testing.

Easy set up and sounds great

I'd suggest downloading the Vizio cast app right away and use it.
