5 channel sound bar is the way to go. the audio and surround sound is far better than I expected and was very easy to install.

Good lord I bought it for my room but it was beyond powerful enough for the living room. This thing has POWER.

The side and back speakers didn't really do it for me. I didn't truly feel like I had a surround sound experience. The soundbar, and subwoofer were great though.

Best buy is sefiously the best for electronics, I made my decision to shop for electronics only at best buy, my surround system is the best

Sound bar loses sound from the tv randomly. Plugged in through hdmi Arc. I have to turn off the sound bar or reset the input to get volume back.

This Vizio soundbar has a great clear crisp sound. The bass is awesome. I have enjoyed watching more action pack movies

After struggling with this unit's inability to properly function via HDMI ARC I've decided to literally throw it away. The cost of my time troubleshooting and chatting with support was well beyond the cost of the unit and as such it's time to cut my losses. I won't even give it away. The app works about half the time. Has trouble connecting. Terribly sluggish even when it does. More often than not, it just falls over or freezes. Check the app reviews for yourself! Not the aggregate scores, but the individual reviews themselves. Vizio should be ashamed. Unit often won't turn off via the remote, nor via the button on top. When switching to an app like YouTube on the TV from watching cable, the audio stops working despite the hdmi arc being the input for both. I have to shut off both units (unplug the Vizio when buttons won't work) and turn them back on to get it working. When I give up and decide to use the TV speakers instead, the Vizio unit randomly turns back on and while the Vizio boots up, I'm left sitting there without audio for 10 seconds or more. Had these problems with the original and a replacement unit that Vizio was nice enough to send me. The product just doesn't work as advertised. I've been in software for 15 years. Playing with these kind of devices is a hobby so I don't believe this to be user error.
