    kind of disapointed because i didnt know that what listen to has to have a certain signal to get dolby atmos other than that i like the sound bar

    As I stated before I really liked this....however. I had to take the 1st one back due to issues with it. The more I talked to Vizio tech support the worse it got. Exchanged for another one and got passed all the issues with the 1st one. THEN.... it started disconnecting and shutting off all by itself. I searched my issue on the internet and found others were having this SAME issue. I tried all of the things that they were told to do and nothing seemed to help. As I was nearing the end date of my return window..... I just took it back. This sound bar has so many things going for it. It sounded pretty good....came with impressive amount of accessories...... lots of features....... BUT THERE WERE TOO MANY PROBLEMS!!! Before purchasing please please take the time to research!!!! This soundbar was on sale from $499 to $290...... I think there is a reason behind it. I ended up going with a higher priced LG. I didn't want to ....but I was forced. I have only had the LG for a day or so.....but I still miss the Vizio soundbar and what "should have been", but not all the problems that came with it.

    I bought this product open box. The description said "excellent with all original parts". I get this shipped to my house, open it up, and it is missing the remote. I tried the app and the remote part of the app would never connect to my phone. An item with missing parts isn't "Excellent condition with all the original parts" Best Buy. Do a better job inspecting your open box items. I returned this and it was accepted at least.

    Sound went up on its own to highest level wife not happy when does it at 5am. returned it. Not much bass

    Vizio has the worst buggy products. This soundbar is very buggy. It turns off now and then. It also will not connect to Wifi using their buggy Vizio Smartcast app. Can't even download a new firmware update if they did fix the problems because I can't use Wifi and soundbar does not detect a new firmware when using a USB flashdrive. Majority, if not, all of them have bugs. There are many reviews that state they needed replacement soundbars because Vizio does not care about their customers. They do not care that their customer are spending money on poorly made products that Vizio refuses to acknowledge and repair. It's been years that people have been reporting issues and there has not been a firmware update to at least attempt to fix them. Do they even have a QA department because all of their products are buggy. They will only fix it if it's within 1 year of purchase. I owned this for 13 months but should have reported these issues sooner when they started happening weeks ago but then again there just going to replace it with another buggy soundbar. There are people who ended up with bad soundbars that Vizio sent as replacements. I have other Vizio products and they are all buggy but not as buggy as this soundbar. This is my last Vizio product. I will never buy Vizio junk again.

    I was oh so very excited to get this to replace my very old Vizio S4151w, but this one wasn't as crisp in the sound, and I never got the Atmos to work. We paired this with a 2yr old Samsung 9-Series TV and 4k Blu Ray player and 4k Movie...and it sounded the same as my old sound bar. I tried and tried and never got the HDMI (ARC) input to work reliably, and the digital would randomly drop connection. We kept it for a little over 2 weeks trying different setting and watching videos trying to get it to be reliable, and by the time we returned it, it was randomly turning off and on again in the middle of a movie. So very disappointing for a newer product to be such a disappointment compared to the original product that is several years old. At least the remote looks a little better, just wish there was a backlight to the LCD to be able to see it in low light.

To make sure that you can receive Atmos audio you would need a television or device that is capable of passing Dolby Digital+ or TrueHD Atmos audio. When Atmos audio is detected from your source device it will display a green light in the bottom left corner. We would love the opportunity to help get your sound bar working properly with you.
