Very buggy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I Really loved this sound bar until the sound started to cut off randomly .Connecting the sound bar to the wifi was unsuccessful .The bluetooth was horrible the music skipped like a scratched CD.This was the second Vizio soundbar that I had to take back because of the same problems. Now I went back to Samsung.

Avatar level sound - 70's show tech

The poor technology integration and asinine app on iOS made me hate it. The remote that comes with the sound bar is useless, the app is sketchy an has to be restarted all the time. The only reason it got any stars is that when it's working via optical the sound is awesome. Good luck if you have any issues with tech at all ever getting it working consistently unless they update the app / remote functionality etc. What a sad waste of amazing hardware by a bunch of useless software people.

Sound bar

Never wants to sync to tv controls, turns off spontaneously, and speakers were so difficult to program, we gave up! I should have returned it since we only use the sound bar and it's sub par.

Stopped working in less than 24hrs

Do not buy

I bought it cause I have a nice 4K tv thinking I don’t wanna spend $1k for atmos. Boy I was wrong, I am in the process of returning this weekend. This sound bar and software are so buggy. I need to turn it on and off daily now to stop issues. The app to control it is from the 19th century. If Visio cared they would push out a software fix, based on there other products though and Reddit feedback they seem to not care very much. If you can deal with the bugs overall sound is good.

4K PassThrough/Atmos Issues

So far I have connected Nvidia Shield TV Pro (latest), Fire TV 3 Pendant, Xbox One S and all wont pass thru 4K display thru Vizio HDMI In, where soundbar connects to Frame TV (latest) thru HDMI ARC, I can hear Atmos on soundbar with no display on Shield. I have changed 4K resolutions. Can't get a hold of Vizio support. Atmos is of no Use without video. 4K displays on TV if the streaming device is connected through One Connect box but then it does not play Atmos. I assume my Fire TV Cube will also have same issue as the pendant.

Vizio dissappointed again

This was on a huge sale during the holidays. It sounded great so I bought to go with my new tv. It worked well and sounded great for about a month. The satellite speakers started crackling heavily a month and half in and the the sound bar would have horrible crackling sounds about two months on. I was lazy and just wound up turning off satellite speakers instead of calling warranty. Well five months in, the sound at randomly lost power while using it and I had to get it replaced. The best part is they send you a refurbished speaker set so they can cut costs. Don’t buy vizio tvs and sure don’t buy vizio speakers.

Unfortunately, I was only able to enjoy it for two days, the firmware loop bug bricked my unit. I can’t really recommend it at full price.

Soundbar on, no sound

Sounds great when working, but has frequent issues

The only real way around this I found was to either cycle power to it or switch inputs momentarily and back to HDMI ARC, but this is very cumbersome to do and super annoying since it happens so frequently (multiple times a day).

You have to unplug it each time you turn the TV on. Then you have to click buttons in the right order and hope it works. The phone "smart things" app is the worst app I have ever used. You will spend 40 mins trying to connect to the bar with it. If you do get it to work, it sounds great... Not worth the hassle imo Bestbuy should be ashamed to sell such things. Extremely disappointed
