    Do NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! It ONLY works if connected directly to an HDMI source; if connected to a pre-amp via HDMI it WILL NOT work. I was on the phone for 2 hours with support and their solution was "maybe you need to buy better equipment." This product should be simple to set up; it is not. Support is unhelpful and disparaging of customers. I will return this product in all its pieces and parts. Don't waste your time or money.

      Hi marcman, without being familiar with your case, I can't comment on specifics. But in general, our sound bar is meant to be a contained audio system. The speakers are meant to function without having to buy additional expensive amplifiers. We're sorry that you felt like our support team didn't help.     Wireless Sub is a JOKE

    Sounds amazing.... When the sub connects. It has a mind of its own. Sometimes it comes on when the bar comes on... Most of the time it doesn't. The pairing button is a guessing game, works about 10% of the time. I usually have to turn the bar on, hit pairing, doesn't pair, turn bar off and rinse and repeat. Sometimes takes 10 plus tries. Contacted both Best Buy and Vizio and got absolutely no help or support.

    Atmos is nonexistant

    I bought a new LG 4K tv that was Dolby Atmos enabled. I wanted a better surround experience and this sound bar was supposed to envelope the listener with sound by bouncing sound off the ceiling, wrong. Never once did I ever hear any sound from overhead, which Atmos is supposed to produce. Wish I would have returned it and got my money back, but its too late now. I will be selling it if someone just wants a sound bar to enhance their tv speakers.

    Junk, Please Avoid

    Bought this, hooked up no issues and worked for a few days. Today it’s stuck in a continuous cycle and not responding to any troubleshooting. Contacted Vizio and already requested to send in under warranty. Have had this less than week. Looks to be a firmware issue. Don’t buy this!!!!!

    I’m disappointed with this speakers, I was excited but not even a month and there is cracking noises coming from small speakers.

    Cannot give an honest option because item was returned for another sound bar that better fit our needs.

    Great sound, terrible software, unusable.

    Tried several different configurations but can never get this to function satisfactory. Device freezes requiring unplugging and replugging. Often no sound requiring selecting a different input then reselecting correct input. Having DVD player turned on causes sound from TV to cut out. Finally, after 3 months, bass locked itself at max volume.

    Intermittent Shut Off - Seeking Return

    I normally dont write in about reviews - but I felt I have to for this one - the sound bar SHUTS OFF while in use. At first, it was an annoyance, now it is unbearable - so much so that we have turned it off. I am only logging in to the BB site to see if I can return it, etc. AVOID.

    Center channel had no sound.

    The first unit I bought didn't work. The center speaker would never give any sound. I dealt with very good customer service and received a replacement unit in a few days. This unit would never pair the Bluetooth speakers so I returned this unit as well as my original purchase. I read several great reviews of this unit, but my experience was not so good.

    This system is not great. I wouldn't call it good, or even mediocre. I had it for 3 months and the HDMI ARC port died. When I got close up to the soundbar, I could smell burnt electronics. I know the system is under warranty, but I didn't feel like dealing with the phone call troubleshooting process. Instead, I just pitched the thing into the trash and I'll start from scratch.

    I'm a firm believer in the fact that you often get what you pay for. The specs are ok and the price is good for what is advertised including dolby atmos. However, right out the box the ARC feature does not work with my samsung un65ju6700 and the bluetooth consistently drops audio, audio delays and distorted. I will be returning and trying another unit just in case i got a bad one.

    Had initial issues with set up but once done I enjoyed the sound and experience. The display on the remote was useless in the dark and needed the lights to be on to navigate through the menu options. Poor rating because the sound bar stopped working after a few weeks, thankfully it was within the return window.

    Great if you don't like AV sync

    It's a decent enough sound quality, but even with the AV delay setting at its lowest, you're going to get a split-second delay on your AV sync, just enough to be noticeable. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any way to rectify this. Will probably just have to find another system. Shame, given the value on this system.

    I purchased this last year. Within two months somehow the optical connection broke and it’s a nightmare to make it work. Than same time the power connector started getting loose and power keeps disconnecting. I called Visio to claim the warranty and they refused to repair the product. Sound quality is good but the product is horrible.
