Unreliable

If it would work all the time this thing would be fine. But it fails to communicate with my TV constantly. The HDMI handshake or whatever it does is so unreliable that my entire AV system just needs the power strip yanked out of the wall. Usually that fixes it, but not always. Wasn’t the case before this sensitive prima Donna. Just don’t get this unless you want a fragile unreliable piece of garbage. Btw — I update the firmware as often as I can. Vizio apparently doesn’t really want to fix the underlying issues.

Open box

I bought the Excellent condition one and it was missing several essential cords. Best Buy offered to replace the cords with their own. After I repacked the device and lugged it back to the store.

Buy The V51 Series Don't Waste Your Money On This

The V51 blows this new M series trash out the water. M series has no bass, and all the other options just seem to not really work and the sound is just sickening. I would've been happy still use my V51 BUT VIZIO DOESN'T SELL A REPLACEMENT REMOTE THAT ACTUALLY WORKS ALL OPTIONS IT ONLY ADJUST BASS,TREBLE!!!! All these reviews giving 5 stars are either folks that work for Vizio or just a bunch of folks who don't take the volume to house shaking levels because any positive review is just a lie.

Not the Vizio brand quality

I was forced to buy a new Vizio sound bar setup after my prior Vizio soundbar stopped working. I thought I would stick with the same brand since the last one lasted 4 years. I only had this for a couple months and it is too late to return. Find something else.

Malfunctioned System

Supposedly the soundbar was outdated but even after updating to newest version the subwoofer would work on & off & the (2) small speakers never worked. Vizio has decided to send me a new system after spending hours with customer service on (2) separate occasions they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. Keeping my fingers crossed for the new one to work like a charm.

Not a very good product

I can't ever go from a streaming service to a cable channel (or even channel to channel) without losing the sound. I have to power everything off to get the sound back. Even on one channel, I don't hear some of the commercials, or even all of the sounds. Watching football, rarely do I hear the officials announcing penalties. I bought this based on past experiences, but never again.

Bad quality

No bass. Flat rear channel. Serious Bluetooth delay on movies… go for a better brand. This setup isn’t what you’re looking for. I’ve heard better standalone sound bars from better companies. Just don’t.

Don’t waste your money

The subwoofer is blown, making loud rattling, crackling sounds. I never used this on high volume. It was just mediocre sound bar to begin with, now can’t even use with subwoofer. Don’t waste your money.

Was happy but now disappointed.

All ready did all that i could to fix and it still does it. Currently using just the center bar. Can i not get a replacement? I mean i paid alot of money for the M serious.
