Talked myself into a new tv and bought this at the recommendation of a store employee over another tv. The volume is quiet but can still be heard, just have to turn it up more than normal. I'm not overly convinced it is true 4k, but will check a few more things before I can saw either way for sure. The tv does not have a built in tuner (weird) so if you want antenna tv, an external turner must be used. All in all, even if it is not a 4k tv, it's still worth the price and a good tv. If this is going to be a primary or in a room with some noise, I would hook it up to an audio system. Other than that, no known complaints.

I love this Vizio television. 4K is really nice. Upgraded from a 32" 1080p to this 50" 4k and I can see a huge difference from them. Looks so much clearer and brighter. I enjoy using my android phone as the remote since I always have that near me and not the controller itself. I also enjoy the chromecast which lets me stream my music onto the screen from my phone or pc. Not just music but also anything from chrome itself on pc or apps like hulu, netflix, animeftw, etc etc. I also have my have my xbox 360, ps3, wii u, and ps4 connected to the television and the ps4 games looks great on it. Should maybe try connecting my xbox one s into the tv lol. anyways great tv and def dont regret buying it.

We wanted a bigger tv for the bedroom. We happened to be at Best Buy one day and found this as an open box. It had what we were looking for. So we got it, and don't regret it. It looks good and the speakers are good for the bedroom. We have DirecTv, so the remote that come with the tv doesn't get used. But note if you do want to use the tv remote, it doesn't have numbered buttons. You need to use the app on your phone. You need to use the app on your phone for almost everything on the tv. This is also a Chromecast tv. So you'll need a tablet or phone to stream things like Netlix. But we have a FireTV so we rarely use that.

We purchased this 50" tv to replace a 32" 1080 RCA in our bedroom. The RCA still works great but it was getting hard to see well due to the distance between the bed and TV. We would highly recommend this TV. Purchased for $399 at BB online and picked up 1 hour later. Setup is fast and simple. Download the Vizio SmartCast App to your phone, click the menu and go down to "add a new device". The app walks you through step by step and connects to your wifi. From there it's easy to watch Netflix, YouTube, etc. Find it on your phone and cast to the TV. A few findings that make the experience better: choose Quick Start (your tv is on in 5 seconds) and Vivid (colors and motion are great). We've been watching bowl games and action movies, and the screen looks great. No motion issues, screen shows vibrant colors and dark blacks. My only recommendation is to pick up a sound bar. Speakers work well but we have become use to enhanced sound on our Vizio 60" (M70-C3) with a LG sound bar and 10" subwoofer. I think we will get the Bose Solo 5. Net, great 4K TV for $400!

I did my research with this way before purchasing on Black Friday. I went back and forth between Walmart, HH Gregg and Best Buy several times. People would normally buy the Samsung TV's because they are supposedly the best. And they are great. But expensive. This TV rates as high as any other TV in its category and is almost half the cost. Best Buy had a better price ($350) and much more inventory for Black Friday. I would recommend this to anyone, including the TV snobs/nerds. My dad is in love with this. I will buy one for myself on Black Friday next year if the deal is available again.

This TV does NOT support HDR, and does NOT come with a tablet remote like the higher M and P series, but it is several hundred dollars cheaper than the equivalent M series TV. To take maximum advantage, you need a dedicated tablet to use as a remote and to Cast. Frustratingly, some important apps like Amazon Prime video and Khan Academy are not Cast-enabled, so you will need an external streamer (Roku, Fire TV, etc) to display on this TV.

This is my second Vizio. I couldn’t be happier! The color is rich and the sound is really good- do not have a sound bar. I always like to tweak the picture settings and this model allows a lot of control. I’m a big fan!

The TV has a very good picture. It was easy to set up. Two things keep it from being a 5 star. The stand on a lot of newer tvs have wide set legs. Not as handy as a center stand. The remote control on this tv is vague, shaped the same basically on both ends, and a little small. It is hard to tell from touch where the controls are. Other than that it is a good TV.

Good deal on an open box TV. I was looking for a 4K TV for my Xbox one. Pick this one up for $350. The tag said everything was still there and it was in great condition. The TV was in great condition however it was missing the legs to stand the TV on. The Manager at my local Best Buy and Forsyth Illinois was quick to remedy this. The picture is great and as always Best Buy had a great price. I'm not a fan of having to download the remote on your tablet or smart phone but I only use this for the Xbox and maybe some movies so it really doesn't affect it

This TV is easy to set up and use. I love all the app options for streaming and that it has a built in chromecast. The picture is very bright and clear. My only gripe would be the speakers. You have to turn the volume up significantly if there's any background noise. I also like its compatible with Google home.

Got this on sale and is very good for the price! - Perfect for my 1 bedroom apartment - The TV's remote is not very functionally useful, but the cable TV remote can be used. Else download and install the Smart TV App to control Chromecast apps via phone / tablet. - Has built in Chromecast apps. - Picture quality is good. - WiFi is needed to setup the TV. - Media can be casted via Laptop also (Google Chrome extension - SmartCast needed)

One of The Better 4K TV Out There

This product is great for what it offers, there are some pros and cons to this product as any others. Overall I would recommend this for a lower budget TV. Video Quality: 4K @120Hz is good for the price, I did not expect the best quality coming from this price range but I was amazed by what it produced. When a 4k player is plugged it that is when things get amazing, beside that your average HD cable box will be just fine. When using the built-in Chromecast the quality of the shows will not be in 4K. I do not think that this TV comes with the Chromecast Ultra that supports 4K. In addition, you will need a pretty good router that can stream quality feeds to your TV. If your connection is coming from the other side of your home, I would recommend plugging this unit in directly with an ethernet cable. Sound Quality: The basic sounds that a TV can produce, it can reach a pretty good volume but it should be accompanied at least by a sound bar that way it will give you better quality than just the original speakers. Features: ChromeCast built in is not that useful, I bought the TV thinking that it was going to be a smart TV like most other smart TVout there. Although there is a Chromecast that comes with it , you still need a device that will stream the application. This TV had tied up one of my devices as it is used only as the remote and internet browsing since I have to bring it along with me if I want to watch tv on it. The remote that it comes with is minimal, to access a lot more feature you will need to download the app and use that as a remote. Build: It is light making it easy to mount. The remote should be a little more integrated with the TV but after having that app on your phone or tablet the remote is no longer needed.
