I bought this tv for my living room until I upgraded, but in both rooms it works perfectly. It's big enough to see easily, the vizio platform is great for chromecasting and is light enough for my swivel mount. The E-series should do everything you'd need and more.

This TV boasts an outstanding picture along with combined ease of use. The chromecast is seemless and streams vast amounts of content. The ease of set-up is a major plus, as is the light weight for those who choose the wall mount option. Bottom line, Great TV, Graet Price.

Love my new 50” TV. It has a great picture and sound. Can’t beat it for the price!

This is a very nice T.V. As a former Roku user it did take some time to get used to the Chromcast feature. It has only a few preloaded app. (Netflix and the usual) but you will need an Android device if you want more apps. Ultimately I find it easier to search for channels this way (you jus search and dl in the Android Play Store). Regarding the T.V. the picture and sound are all great.

This was a replacement for a prior Vizio TV. I had some issues with the old Vizio the Geek Squad tried fixing it. Had the Geek Squad Replacement Warranty and so it was replaced. I like Vizio TV quality. I have several smaller ones. I used to be a Sony person and paid premium dollars for their TV's but the quality of their TV's has diminished. Vizio has great quality TV's.

This is the first flat screen TV my family has had in our home. EVER. It is a great size and came for a great price. The picture is very clear and has many app capabilities considering it is a smart TV. Easy to navigate. Great TV.

After purchasing a small e series tv for the bedroom and being very satisfied with it, we purchased this tv for the living room. Great picture quality, super easy to set up. Chrome cast works really well. The app is very user friendly too.

So far the best tv I’ve owned! I love it! I even purchased two!

This TV met all of our needs when we were shopping. Price point, size, UHD, smart tv with built in chromecast. I wish the remote could light up...but not the end of the world. Over all we are happy with our purchase!

My only complaint: The initial downloading of updates was a little frustrating, because it kept freezing. I finally had to do a manufacturer reset (brand new t.v. in an unopened box), before the updates completed. Otherwise the T.V. is a great purchase!

The TV itself is great. Very light and easy to setup. The downside is I can’t add any apps to it so I have to manually stream each show I want to watch. If they add the ability to customize apps on the tv I would give it 5 stars.

I am totally impressed with this tv. The price was fantastic. Just turning the tv on it helps you set up the tv to link to your phone so you don't really need the remote afterwards. You can control everything from there. Took me about 30 minutes to set up the picture how I like it. The casting from your phone or tablet to your tv is impressive! I don't have to watch anything on my phone anymore I can just send it to the tv! I tried the open box Toshiba 49 inch 4k and it sucked because it died within 3 days. ... I got the 4k 50 inch Westinghouse that one sucked worse that a 720 tv.. Just get this one if you are on a budget.. This is the best 4k tv under 500 you can get.. if you can get it for 399 then even better!

This screen seems to have the younger, or more technical, in mind. TV setup requires at smartphone and their app. It took about 5 minutes to get setup and going. It does come with a remote for basic use; input, volume, channel. Audio is nothing special, but does get the job over. Picture is crisp and using with xbox one to play 4k Blu-Rays the picture is just amazing. Special note is that the stand is on the outside of the TV and not the inside, so ensure where you are placing it is wide enough to hold it.

Great picture, easy to mount, easy navigation. Only negative is the tiny remote that seems to slide easily into the couch cushions. First world problems.

Good TV for the money. Volume is too low, cannot hear what is being said--mainly on evening programs. Bought a soundbar so will see if that helps.

TV is perfect! It fits nicely over my fireplace. Picture and sound are great! Unfortunately, I don't get a lot of opportunities to use the 4K feature, as most things are not shown in 4K. However, I do occasionally watch 4K Youtube videos and the picture is pretty spectacular. Even if you're watching something that is not in 4K, the picture is still great! I love being able to cast things from laptop to the TV since Google Chromecast is already built into the TV. All around, it's a great TV, especially for the price. I've had it over a year now with no problems.

Good looking TV. I would swing for the 55” version. This version doesn’t have HDR for 4K. The 55” does, as well as slightly better picture quality. Also, the 55” has more zones for the backlight.

I love the picture quality and it was very easy to set up, the only problem with this TV is that you need to have the Vizio App on a second device to cast to the tv to stream netflix and other streaming services. There are no pre-installed apps or any way to install apps for simple viewing. All streaming is through casting and you need the app on your mobile or tablet.. I misunderstood it to be a smart tv, The remote that came with this tv it is a dumb remote with volume and picture buttons only. You can bypass the casting if you have cable, but for the best results and a quality picture, you must use the casting feature, it gets stuck sometimes in the middle of streaming as it is through the wifi and Vizio App. I liked my other Vizio Smart Tvs that had the apps already installed and with a remote that only needed a push of a button. Is it the TOP TOP of the line OLED 4K? No. But if you're looking for a smart tv this size, with loads of apps, streaming opportunities, chromecast built in which is a big plus, with a pretty good picture for really reasonable price, THIS IS A GOOD TV!!! Throw a sound bar on or surround sound speakers the tv is even better. Would definitely recommend to a friend if looking for something similar without looking to spend over $1000.
