The most annoying tv I've ever had

Every step and function of this tv is annoying. The stand it sits on is unstable and the whole tv wobbles with the slightest touch. I'm sure this is a "built-in" feature so that your tv will fall over and you'll have to buy a new one, sorta like "built-in obsolescence." Setting up with Alexa requires you download the Vizio skill (rated 1 star), which requires you to make a Vizio account, which requires you to accept ads, promotions and spam and allows them to turn over your info. If you don't accept the spam, you can't get an account, so you can't get the skill, so you can't set it up. The remote is a joke...there is no button to change the channel up/down, no number buttons to punch in a channel number directly, and no button to quickly bounce between two channels (but there are 7 buttons to quickly access various streaming services you may or may not have or use, including, of course, Vizio's). No longer can you quickly and easily bounce between two shows with one quick button press on the remote. One button press now only brings up an onscreen menu you have to work through. You might as well watch the commercials, it's quicker. When changing inputs you have to scroll through a list of Vizio options each and every time to get to your options. You can hide some 3rd party options, but of course, not Vizio's, and, of course, there is no way to reorder them so that the unused/unwanted Vizio stuff is at the bottom. When updating itself and a restart is required, it restarts, right then and there, whether you want your tv to turn off at that moment or not. Hopefully, you won't be watching some live sporting event when it decides to update and restart itself. Of all the tv's I've ever owned in my whole long life I have never, ever, been so annoyed by any other tv. The hassle required to use this one, not to mention the constant shameless self promotion of Vizio and it's services is so irritating. This tv was meant to be used in my bedroom, a simple, easy, inexpensive tv for watching a few shows prior to bedtime for relaxation. But I find using it so annoying that instead of helping me relax I get irritated and worked up. I hate this tv.

Rating based on poor inventory control at Best Buy South Bay. I bought an open-box Excellent model last weekend. When I get home and open it, the first thing I see is one of the leg stands is missing. Seriously? The leg stands are packed at the top of the box. they are the first things you see when you open it and, conversely, I'd imagine, the last thing you'd see when taping the box shut, yet the Best Buy employee who inspected the tv and packaged it for resale apparently failed to notice a leg was missing. It's just frustrating to have to repack the tv and make a trip back to the store to return it because of poor/sloppy inventory control on behalf of Best Buy.

Laggy supports 4k but if you use the apps pre downloaded does not run in 4k. Paired with my 4k Apple TV and it looks great

For the price it’s a great tv. The sound quality absolutely sucked until I turned off the x surround sound setting. Go with no surround sound and it sounds fine.

I was watching a movie when suddenly the TV went black but there was still sound playing. I turned my TV off then turned it on again there was no picture. I unplugged the TV cord and held the power button down for 60 seconds then plugged it back in and turned it on and there was still no picture.

I’ve had this tv a couple of months now. I do like it. It’s quality is nice and it’s a smart tv. Nice screen size. I have a couple of gripes about it that I know are meant for ease of use but annoys me a bit. And one negative. So that problem I have is there is like (I believe) one button for everything on the tv and it’s so confusing to go through. Maybe I’m just lazy cause I haven’t read the manual. Idk. God forbid I lose the remote. Another thing is the TV turns on or switches over whenever you turn on external devices. So if you turn on your dvd player, the tv will come on. Let’s say your watching a show and you accidentally turn on your gaming console. * I do this a lot :,( * it will cut off what your watching and switch it to the console. I’m sure you can change it…maybe, but these are the default settings. Then the negative is the sound isn’t the best but you can hear it well enough. Otherwise I am overall satisfied with this TV.

Great TV , Amazing picture for 4K HDR . Cant beat the price even not on sale . Ive bought high end brands like Sony ,Samsung , Lg and I'd consider Vizio high end just a lot more affordable. I did return it but only because a few days later they had a 65 inch for 500 plus it was a newer model. I've bought several other Vizio products and only had one problem with a 4k TV back when they were fairly new . It had a smear spot on the screen (defect or something a few months after buying. Vizio delivered a brand new TV a few days later and it was a newer model .....great customer service, thanks vizio oh yeah if you buy any big screen TV or any TV having a soundbar at the very least makes a huge difference....I have a Samsung Theater surround sound system and i wanted to get vizio but Best Buy had one that retailed 2100$ but it said open box so was only 1200 with 3 year warranty (nobody even opened the box only ripped half the tape off the top.of box )

The TV itself was great. Good colors/pictures, and decent built-in speakers. The smart TV functions are also very handy. The issue with the purchase is that I bought the TV as an open-box excellent product, but no TV stand came with the TV. Since it was open-box excellent, all the original parts should have come with the TV. However, there was no TV stand, so I had to purchase the TV stand on my own.

This is a very nice TV. I was looking for a replacement to a junky 50" that was about 7 yrs old and this is a serious upgrade. The picture is beautiful. it is a smart TV so it includes almost every streaming app there is right now. The list is extensive. I had a couple of hiccups for the first couple of days, but since then, it has worked perfectly.

This TV has an excellent picture! I’m actually surprised! The sound quality rocks, and I was expecting it to be a great TV already from past experiences with Vizio, but this TV surpassed my expectations. It’s just Awesome! It even runs my PS5 console pretty frickn good! That’s what really caught my eye. The colors were vivid and like, “IN YO FACE!!!” Lol. But yeah, man… GREAT TV. Totally recommend this to anyone. Has a lot of bang for the buck.

This is an excellent Tv with many high end features built in, for the price, the picture and quality is hard to beat. I really like how everything I could want was already set up and pre-programmed on the landing page. It is easy to navigate and the picture quality is superb to other TVs in the price point.
