Set up was frustrating
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like the TV, hated the set up! Why can't you just plug everything in and have it work? You have to enter wi fi codes, QR codes, figure out which cable to plug in where it would work. When the launch sequence got stuck in a loop I was ready to give up. I called Vizio. After running out of strategies to try they said the tv is under warranty send it back we will replace it. The input would not work on TV - finally got it to work by entering the literal name of the cable box. Alas it all worked lol. The picture is good. There many apps available on the tv. You can't add any but you can cast content from the cell, IPad or laptop. Vizio is a good product. Thinking about adding a sound bar - to try to get the dialogue to be louder than the music.

Great value for the price
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is considered an entry level 4k TV. I like to stream 4k content on YouTube. I quite like the picture. The built in bluetooth transmitter is a nice feature. A 50 inch set for just over $300 on sale; this set is a great value.

Very satisfactory choice for a bedroom TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This VIZIO model was in the lowest priced series for the 50" size in this brand. I was not looking for anything fancy, just a replacement for our bedroom plasma that had started to die. I have been very pleased with the choice. The picture and sound quality is excellent, and the smart features of the TV have been unexpectedly good to work with. It automatically senses if I have activated my Roku stick or my BluRay player. I also can pull up content from the internet when desired, though it's more cumbersome than with an actual keyboard. In all, I feel I got great bang for the buck.

Not worth the money
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tv has a good picture. The remote has no numbers on it, you can pull up a number pad on the screen, but when you put a channel in it it won't let you go to the channel. It has to much content in its free tv,but its all old stuff you can watch on regular tv.the app store doesn't have no selection of many apps would not recommend this tv

Great value!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I specifically needed a TV with HomeKit, but didn’t really want to spend over $300. This was for my bedroom, so I was leaning towards a 43 inch, but this Vizio came up, and the reviews looked good. The picture looks fantastic, set up is easy, and HomeKit integration is seamless. I love being able to turn off my TV with just Siri. The picture looks just as good as my 65” high end LG. The sound could be better, but im nitpicking at this point. Im a techy guy so the average person wouldnt even nktice the sound. Great buy!!!!

Great tv at value price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The apps on this tv are plentiful and easy to use. I have more free options than I ever imagined. Good picture quality and a great value for the price. My only complaint is no gude on the over the air channels. I like to know what comes on later not just what I'm watching now

My Vizio
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a 42 inch LG that only has two HDMI ports. I needed more so I decided to get the Vizio to go with my Vizio soundbar. It was easy to set up and has 4 HDMI ports. The colors are beautiful and the sound is even better than the lg. It has many menu options. I wanted the 55 inch but they were sold out. I have only had it for 24 hours but I believe it is a great purchase. I highly recommend it

Third Time.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The third time will, I hope, remain a charm. After purchasing two open box televisions, and having a poor experience doing so, I bought the 2023 Vizio V-Series (a 50", specifically). It's only day two, and I can't say what the future holds, but as-new this set produces a better-than-average picture & the sound it outputs is good enough for a family tv. Neither are great, and I'd rate the Quantum Dot MQ6 Vizio (2021) as having a noticeably better picture, and I'd say its sound wasn't better enough for me to remember. What I like about the 2023 Vizio line of TVs is the fact that they've used modern wireless tech (Wi-Fi 6E) which allows for higher bandwidth and thus can easily handle both 4K video and good sound simultaneously when using Vizio's built-in smart OS, and the V-Series, just like the M-Series and P-Series, has not only 4K video but also HDR10, HDR10+, & Dolby Vision, the last of which does make a difference in picture quality. The V-Series does have a reddish tint around some human faces, which is absent on the M-Series. I'm able to use my fiber-optic HDMI cable with this set as well, which allows for the necessary bandwidth (through the cable) for 4K video. I will say that if you can afford the M-Series, get it instead. But if not, the 2023 V-Series is a great budget television if the reddish tint (that shows on nearly all LED TVs) is something you can live with. Considering the pluses, I'd say it is.
