TV will be used in my show room along with the same model 65". I will see if I can update this review after a few months of use. Initial impression is good.

I chose this model over all others because of it's Audio Out RCA jacks, which I had enjoyed with my prior TV to interface with my component Stereo Receiver. Unfortunately, these audio outputs are controlled by the TV volume, and are not a second audio capable source. Had to buy a sound bar to have decent sound, and relegate my big stereo system to music only. Really wanted built-in Roku, but wanted Audio Out even more. Live and learn, for a price.

Had a little issue with connecting to my network at first - you can tell initial set up felt kinda glitchy but for over that hump. Overall happy with purchase

The first tV was fine for like 3 days and then the Airplay would begin acting up and playing the same commerical over and over. Also, some of the "free" Tv shows I watched would also have the same issue. So I contacted BEst Buy online and they sent me another TV and after one day, the Airplay is doing the EXACT same thing as the other TV. They need to recall this television or offer and software update because it does not work well with Apps and that is the purpose of buying the TV to stream. I will be contacting Best Buy yet again to return this TV and find another brand. I can only imagine the problems I will have in a month. Oddly enough, the first TV I bought the default picture quality was HORRIBLE and I tried my best to adjust the settings to something managable. But this second TV, I have not had to adjust the picture quality AT ALL. Vizio needs to re-evaulate this product they brought to market.

You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device.
