But it is a very fast tv when switching through apps and menu's.

My Apple TV does not do this while connected to my bedroom tv.

It glitches real bad. I could be watching something and all of a sudden the tv goes static and cuts back to the homepage. Plus the Tubi app doesn’t work properly. Im watching something and after it comes back from commercial the screen will be blank but audio is still working. I’ve contacted to Best Buy which transferred me to vizio and they said they would work on it but obviously they haven’t done a thing. Will probably take the tv back and get a new one. This is ridiculous.

Good for price, average hardware quality

I do face few issues when it comes to it not wanting to display when I play my PS4 but that’s easily fixed by switching back and forth through HDMI ports.

SmartCast is useless - get a real OS

The audio quality is pretty poor, but most people who actually care about audio will have external speakers anyway so again this is acceptable. But SmartCast basically turns this thing into a gigantic paperweight. The few apps on the TV work alright most of the time, but the apps available are very limited. A huge number of common streaming services (including all sports streaming) are not available, so you have to use Chromecast or AirPlay. The catch is, neither of these work. Not even a little. I got Chromecast to play once, but the feed would cut out and stop playing entirely (not even buffer, just quit) within 3 minutes. Otherwise, I couldn't get any of my apps on my phone to play on the TV - the wheel just kept spinning. The TV didn't even respond to AirPlay. I took the TV back to the store the same day I bought it.

Disappointing as it seems like a really easy fix, but otherwise a good TV.

However upon opening it, we noticed a scratch on the screen more like a carved scratch. It doesnt affects the picture and if turned on the scratch isn’t noticeable.

The volume is very low so you have to raise it really high just to hear the sound. The screen sometimes freezes up and tv turns off out of nowhere. Never had this issue with Samsung

Very happy with our purchase, was glad it could be delivered to our home and we were able to unbox and set up quite quickly and easily program the remote control. Whole family is happy. :)

Good cheap TV

I set it to display mode (which the TV will turn on and display the HDMI feed). And I use a smart power strip, so when the PC turns on (master port), the TV then will automatically turn in (slave)

VIZIO 50" TV

A good value all the way around. We also added an optical Bluetooth adaptor, since Bluetooth is not built into this model.

ESPN missing in their store. We landed up attaching a ROKU so a basic LCD would work the same without Vizio monitoring / Tracking. for the privacy minded: Very chatty. always calling home. may be a concern if security is important. Reduced two starts for the privacy concerns and tracking. Do a google for more info. I also do not recommend for the same reason.

Smartcast on Vizio TV is a Joke

I spent 2 days try to cast my android contents to the tv but no luck after doing research from various source. No luck to find the tv name appeared on Vizio "Smart" app or Google Home App as recommended by Vizio. I never had this problem with either LG or Sony or Samsung TVs. The so-called "Smart"cast on Vizio brand is a joke to me. Other than that everything works well. I dont cast often so will keep the tv to avoid the trip to the store to return it.

The TV and phone use your homes Wi-Fi to communicate- and if both devices aren't online or on the same network, they won't see each other and be able to pair or cast. Check Systems Information for HDR, and Dolby Visio

The System Information on this TV says there is no HDR. There is Dolby Sound with the Logo. No Dolby Vision Logo to certify it installed.

Just would love if they add the apps twitch and crunchyroll soon.. overall 9/10 amazing tv this brand is top tier and affordable
