Sadly the sound is horrendous. I know flat panels don’t have great sound but this sounds like the 1970s film strips we had in school where the teacher played a record and at the chime had to turn the knob. It will be returned shortly

It has free live tv channels and it has a lot of popular apps. The only downfall is there is no option to download née apps, but it is a smart cast tv so you can cast shows and movies from other devices to the tv.

I only have Vizio TV's in my home, and that is the only brand of TV I recommend to others. Price is also right. I have bought other appliances at Best Buy and am always satisfied.

So when it was my turn to get myself a tv, I knew I had to get a vizio. Plus being able to charge it to my Best Buy card and make payments instead is even better!

Posted .Hello Nancy, this TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device. Can’t really ask for a lot more in a lower priced tv. Heck, I don’t know if you could ask for more out of one twice the price. I’d buy another.
