Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the picture quality, ease of use, and price of the 50" Class V-Series LED 4K UHD SmartCast TV. Many appreciate the TV's setup and lightweight design, along with its vibrant colors and selection of apps. However, some users experienced issues with the SmartCast system, remote control functionality, and volume control. Overall, the positive feedback on picture quality and ease of use outweighs the negative comments regarding specific features.

After 10 years my 42' Insignia died after an electrical surge last month so I was forced to buy a Smart TV. I initially had the TCL 50', big mistake - bad picture and horrible sound, no component inputs. Physically went into my local BB to look at different tv's & was impressed with the Samsung, ordered the wrong one online and when I realized the model I was eyeing in the store was $500 (now of course its only $400 :( ) I decided to go with the Vizio. Great picture, though depending on what your watching you will have to adjust your picture settings. Real remote and all the component & audio inputs you need if you use speakers and wireless headsets. Only Con is that the sound is horrible on this tv too, but I did find a Vizio sound bar for under $60 & its like being in the theater.

Very pleased with this television. One negative is that the speakers being on the back of the tv impact sound quality. Vivid screen. Easy to use menu. Perfect size...large without taking over the whole room.

Decent quality value TV. Not bad at all for the cost. Bought one for our living room and one for our son's bedroom for Christmas, both for the price of a higher quality one we were considering. Would buy them again.

This was a great purchase. Easy to install and get synced in with other devices. This picture is reallyu clear along with the audio. My youngest granddaughter was able is assemble the legs on TV. We did install it on the wall in the bedroom but put the legs on in case we would ever want to use in the sunroom.

So far, so good. I’m glad that it was made in Taiwan not China. I rather buy South Korean or Japan when I can. It has a good picture and it is my first Smart TV. Less expensive than Samsung. I had delivery included for a good price. My previous set is a Seiki. Still good. I’m well entertained.

Very nice deal at $300. Love the streaming options included with this television, tons of free apps pre-installed. Very easy to use. This is my second Visio television, definitely a good value for the money spent.

Having to buy a new tv already, the tv started to not turn on after the first year, so had to unplug each time we tried to turn it on, so one of the legs cracked, and the tv fell over and cracked

This is the first Vizio smart TV I have ever owned. While I think it’s a great tv (the color is sharp and very clear, it loads quickly) whenever we lose power or lose WiFi for any reason the tv acts crazy. Once it’s turned back on after a power lose it won’t reconnect to the WiFi without having to do it manually several times. It’s super annoying. For some reason it hates the HBO MAX app. It will run smoothly for a while but if you decide to binge watch a show on a snow day prepare for it to freeze a couple hours in. You will have to unplug the tv and reset it that way. But if you’re watching any other app it’s all good.

My new Vizio brand 4K smart tv is comparable to other top brands such as LG. This tv is clear, and the price was reasonable. The color is displayed brightly. The size perfectly sits on my tv stand.

I’m in love with this tv the color and picture quality is perfect I play my PS5 on there and it’s so clear. Movies and all the apps that comes with it even the free tv is great. And the tv is loud I didn’t even need to buy the sound bar to go with it but the combination of both is beautiful.

Prior to this purchase we've only owned samsung tvs which have lasted us many years without the need of servicing. We took a chance on purchasing a vizio because of the price and features it offered... We were pleasantly surprised and are very satisfied! Let's hope it lasts years to come!

Incredible TV for the price. Sound output is surprisingly awesome ... switched out my old 2014 samsung plasma and now my polk soundbar setup sounds like it received an upgrade. SmartCast works well and havnt had any trouble with performance there. One thing I dont like is that I had to turn off the sleep function from inactivity, because for some reason while running my ps4 it was not detecting any input even though it was displaying it just fine ... so thats a bit of a head scratcher. Also not sure why there is a composite video input and not component, thats another head scratcher. Usually you will see a combo input with both or none at all.

We were very pleased with this Visio TV. Got it on a great sale. We were very hesitate about buying this TV since we never purchase anything besides Samsung brand. To our surprise, we were extremely pleased with great picture quality, audio sound, and with it being very easy to operate.

I really wanted to like this TV, but, in the end, I returned it. The video quality was more than good enough to keep it. It was easy to set up. The audio could have been better. It was a little bit faint and had to crank up the volume at times, but i would have kept it if that were the only reason. I just didn't like the software. All of my other TVs have the Roku software. I guess I am so used to Roku that I just couldn't get past the Vizio software. If I had just a little control on the apps and stuff that showed up on the main screen maybe it would have been a different story. For most, I believe this TV would have been a 5, but it just wasn't for me.

Great picture quality for gaming and streaming movies and videos. HDMI 2.1 support for new gaming consoles. Home screen takes a few seconds to load when first turning on TV but besides that is quick and reactive to your input. Great 4K TV at a reasonable price point.

Picture quality is what you'd expect for a mid-priced TV like this: color is decent, black is OK. The speakers do well for their size, but you'll probably want to add a sound bar. There's no way to add any smart apps, but the included ones have a nice breadth. Streaming and casting are smooth. Setup is easy, but it did hang during the initial software update (power cycling fixed this, though, and it did update fine afterward). I've had it about two weeks. Twice so far it hasn't wanted to turn on. Power cycling fixed it each time. From checking around, this seems like a semi-common thing with Vizio TVs.

I am so happy with my decision. Its easy to set up, and has alot more functions then I may ever discover. The picture is better than I expected and the sleek slender style looks very nice in any room. I would definatley re purchase a Vizio product.
