This is a good tv but is very bright with the standard video settings. I’m not a tv calibrator so I’m not sure what adjustments need to be made to get the true colors as expected

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The picture quality is good but the hdmi ports seem to have a issue with starting via turning on blueray player, ps4, Nintendo switch where the screen starts tearing and and u have to manual turn of tv and turn the actual tv on first to get the screen tearing to go away. Also the tv has another issue when u turn on the tv it has to turn its self on and off a view times to boot up. Not a good tv for playing video games but great for movies the frame rate on the tv gets caught up when to much light effects happen at once.

In hind sight I would have given it a 2nd thought before buying this model. The problem is the active dimmer. It worked till one of the last updates. Now when I watch any tv with the active dimmer on, I get black bars flashing across my tv every time there is any black colors on the screen. It is a big let down since it was a big part of why I selected this over the other I was looking at. My advice, go with a better brand. I have a beer samsung in my bedroom that has been fantastic for the price.
