    Motherboard issues

    After 4 months the motherboard went out. Apparently this is a know problem because the Vizio customer service agent knew exactly what was going on with it. If you have this issue they send you a refurbished model to replace it. Don't buy not like the Vizio TVs from years ago

    Horizontal white lines

    Horizontal white lines during playback when using firestick and fire tv. Does not matter what streaming service, all are affected. Contacted Vizio customer service and hopefully they have a fix. Didnt notice the problem till after return date expired. This is unacceptable.

    Screen constantly blacks out with ps4

    Don't buy it. While playing games in HDR the screen always flashes black and sometimes random colors. Also Netflix it does the same thing. Went through a few hdmi cord and that still didn't help. Don't buy a Vizio.

    I am on my 2nd warranty replacement for this model. Black shadows flicker across the screen. Same issue that drove me to replace my first TV has affected the second one too.

    Had this tv for about a year and the picture would stop showing. Had it repaired 4 times and it kept doing the same thing. Would not recommend this tv but would recommend LG products.

    Not as advertised. Black line keeps popping up on the bottoms of the screen. Vizio has now replaced the tv 3 times and after a month it just goes right back to the black line popping up.

    Horrible tv… started getting dark spots within a few months. Traded it in via warranty and the new tv also got dark spots within a few months

    Just four months into my purchase and I already had issues with this t.v, I noticed it begins to automatically dim the bottom half of the picture whenever I’m watching anything.

    So the first TV I purchased was a Sony 900f terrible idea, very bad panels, dirty screen. Don’t recommend. I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone not wanting to spend over 1200$ on a TV. This has just as good as picture and better local dimming than Sony! Go to Rtings.com and look at there ratings for this tv. Only issues is this Tv seems to take a lot of energy and the viewing angle. Not much of issues for me. This TV has probably the best picture out of all the TVs out there until you get to the very expensive OLED which I don’t think are worth 3x the price. Some of the best 4k movies to show off this tv would be: Pacific Rim, Interstellar, The Dark Knight , Rises, Dunkirk, ready player one. Any of those movies will show you what this tv has to offer. Please be aware not all 4k movies are created the same, some are very grainy and not very well converted and some are excellent crisp images! Don’t listen to the bestbuy associates that bash this brand, and only want you to buy Sony and Samsung that are 2 Grand a piece.

    TV turns off intermittently without cause. It’s plugged in directly to electrical source. Disappointed with quality and purchase.

    It’s a nice TV for the price. I’m still trying to dial in the picture colors are the presents that are available are not to my suiting. This is the first TV I’ve had to work to this extent to get right. The number of HDMI ports is great. The design is similar to my OLED TV, with the thin bezel. I would have preferred a central pedestal instead of the two outboard feet. I’m using this in my bedroom and the old TV was on top of a narrow width dresser. I’m going to have to mount this on the wall, eventually. The major complaint I have is the sound is quite disappointing. The “surround” sound makes the sound seem like it’s coming out of a tin can and sounds better with the feature turned off, though I find myself adjusting the levels a lot to hear voices. I've already set it back up with the sound bar I was using with the previous TV. I haven’t played around with the voice assistant features much yet so I can’t comment on those.

      Hello Normjerm1789, Thank you for the feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you are looking for. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition or 4K signal. This means making sure that you're source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD or 4K, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD or 4K picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture setting that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room try Calibrated Dark. VIZIO

    It's been a good 4K TV for the price, but now there are dark shadows in three areas of the left center screen, probably burnt out or otherwise faulty backlight LED's. For a 4K design with "Black Detail and Full Array" this model has very few LEDs per strip. It's getting unwatchable and I wasnt to replace it with a 65" OLED screen, maybe another brand. The remote is large bar with tiny buttons. There's buttons for every number and 6 pay service buttons that I don't use. They occupy 1/2 of this thing.

    The Vizio 55” P-Series 4K TV is sleek, with essentially no bezel and a thin profile. It looks beautiful with its two aluminum feet. It is easy to set up, though it requires two people to get the unit out of the box. The feet screw in easily; you will need a screwdriver. The P-Series LED has all input and output ports easily accessible on the right side. The unit sports two HDMI ports, one USB port, component video, optical, DTV, ethernet, audio outputs, and more! Use this smart TV as a giant, high-quality display for streaming video, with an HD antenna for broadcast TV, with cable, fiber or dish.
