Best LCD picture, Bad software and settings
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the picture when in Normal mode but I hate HDR and DolbyVision on this TV, they are dark and no settings available to disable them. Dark patches appearing in dark scenes. Apple airplay is not working smoothly. Very slow internal software. Very narrow viewing angle. This is my third replacement and nothing has changed. I do not recommend this TV.

Vizio does it again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You get an awesome picture with the hdr and Dolby vision. The view angle is the only issue but if your always sitting in front of the tv, should not be a problem. I’m happy with it.

Good Dolby Vision Starter TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv has local zone dimming which really helps the HDR and Dolby Vision shine. I was looking for a set to go in my home office across from the desk. It’s got a good picture, nice features, and some Alexa integration. If you are torn between 55 and 65 I’d say the 65 would likely be better, as there are more zones for driving the HDR and Dolby Vision.

Best mid range TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After doing some research for a new 4K TV upgrading from a vizio 50” everywhere I looked at reviews said that this was the best tv for the price range. The local dimming works great and tv does not disappoint. Our main uses for it are movies and gaming for what it’s worth

Great tv option
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We traded in the Samsung tv for this tv color is great and sound works. I hate that the sound is low on new TVs but this model is much better than the Samsung model we had.

Wow
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn’t expecting much but I can say I was completely blown away with this tv. On price and picture quality this TV blows away its competition. The only downsides I can see is the audio ( most tv manufactures are guilty of this) is atrocious, like you NEED a sound bar bad, and the interface is terrible. It’s slow and buggy sometimes when switching inputs the tv completely freezes it will correct it self but it’s still annoying

Great Tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this tv to upgrade a 40” led Samsung, nothing was wrong with it just a little small for a living room. This is my first vizio and wow I’m very impressed ( as my man cave has a Sony 65” Bravia) great picture for any source a little on the bright side but that’s fine as I have a big window in that room. This tv is truly smart, roku, Samsung sound bar, and ps4 are automatically recognized , using the roku remote for power and volume is also great! Couldn’t be more happy with this purchase.

Fantastic! Performance, look and value...
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV! I am moving from a recent mid-range Samsung 4K and I think this outshines it in nearly every way. From looks, to performance, features and finally value, I think Vizio brought the goods here. For starters, I like the look and design. It is a fresh, sleek, and metallic bezel-less appearance on three sides with a solid feel that rests on sturdy aluminum legs. It is a very modern edge-to-edge, yet not over-the-top look. Beyond the looks, it comes with quite a few connection options. Further, all 5 HDMI ports support 2.0a which help with 4K HDR connectivity. Another nice feature is built-in ATSC tuners, for those not tied to a cable plan. Once you are up and running (set-up is an easy process), you get a look at that picture. The picture is clear, crisp, bright, and detailed while the colors are brilliant, pop and are both rich and alive. It is a VA panel, so there is a little distortion when at extreme viewing angles, as opposed to an IPS, but it is a tradeoff, as the VA brings better blacks and much better contrast levels. For my money, that is what one would prefer. The TV also has full array local dimming (FALD) (Vizio calls it Active Full Active Array) with 56 local dimming zones which is crucial for HDR. It is not perfect, but it is much better than edge and nice to have at this price point. As for HDR, Vizio has most of the current formats covered with this set. Dolby Vision (with UltraBright 1000), HDR 10 and HLG are all there. Beyond that, they offer something they call Ultra Color Spectrum which brings more accurate color detail and a wider range of the color spectrum. What does all this mean? As I said, it means a great picture. 4K content is out of this world. Details, colors, blacks all look outstanding. Up-scaled content also looks great, which is important, given I watch a lot of non 4K content. There are countless options and calibration settings to fine tune everything. I spent a great deal time of time here, but I think it is time well spent. You can absolutely get the most out of your purchase/experience. The speakers are acceptable to good. They should be good enough from most people, but if you are looking for immersive sound for theatre etc…you will probably want to turn to a surround system or sound bar. Not really a knock, as they are good for everyday use, but just something to think about. Given it is 2018 and streaming is so important, it is nice Vizio brought quite a bit to the Smart TV aspects of this set. They offer their Smart Cast OS, with apps already on the TV and their Smart Cast mobile app. In addition, Google Chromecast is built in. Honestly, Smart Cast can feel a little slow at times, and I did not have the best experience with the mobile app, but things worked great with the pre-installed apps (Netflix and VUDU are what I use) and while using the Chromecast. I will have to give this more time to see how it plays out. Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant integration are also nice smart features. While I found they work fine, it is just something I am not used to doing in my day to day with regards to my media consumption. I will also have to give that some time, but I like that it is there. Lastly, the included remote works well enough, but is a little basic. There are buttons for several streaming services (Netflix/VUDU/Amazon…) and it does what you expect, but it doesn’t have any advanced features and lacks any backlighting, which would have been appreciated. Ultimately, I really like this TV. Most importantly, it has a great picture, with clear and brilliant details, great black levels and fantastic HDR performance. Its specs hold up, if not shine, and it has a nice design. If you are looking for a large 4K display with all the HDR formats and full array dimming at a great price you can’t do much better than this TV.

100% satisfied
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv flat out rules. HDR content looks breath taking and gaming on the Xbox One X is something else. This was my first Vizio and I couldn’t be more impressed. There is one issue that potential buyers should know. In order to get the full HDR potential out of the TV you have to manually turn on UHD color for each individual HDMI port. Why this isn’t on by default I will never know. One minor gripe aside, this TV is definitely worth your attention. And also I’d like to point out how amazing Best Buy’s price match guarantee is. After a week of owning this television I noticed it was on sale for $150 cheaper. They adjusted the price for me with no issue whatsoever! Makes an amazing TV deal even sweeter.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great 4K tv, the best in class below 1k. I am just amazed by the picture quality. The HDR and the blacks look amazing. Note: You need to change the default picture settings to get the best result.

An awesome hd tv
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So this is one of the best TVs I’ve owned. With a full array of light, it really pops the colors and practically diminished the shadows and grain. Pair it up with an ultra 4K blue ray and a 4K disc, you will have yourself a very excellent visual experience when watch your favorite movie.

Great TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went back and forth on a few different brands. For the money this TV's picture is brilliant with more than a billon pixles and true black. Glad we went down a size and went with the better model.

Simple review - functions as advertised !
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ease of set up - color/contrast is outstanding. So much better than the mistake I made buying the Samsung (3 weeks prior). Own three other Vizios and should have known better. BTW - Samsung will turn on all on its own - a problem noted on line - but not mentioned at the store. What a surprise!

Great picture quality but that’s it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I had gone through about 6 different TVs before buying this one and it better than the Sony, Samsung and LG lcd led tvs I brought home and did not like. So to be fair all of the TVs I tried all did something better than then the other, but they all had there issues that I could not live with being very ocd and picky. So with that said I will say the Vizio had the best black levels out of the Sony, LG and Samsung, the Samsung had better color but was not worth $1800 since this tv was just as good in every other aspect for only $900. So overall this tv is awesome! If you get a good one, after a long weekend of watching movies and playing games I was happy that I found a tv I could be happy with but I was unfortunately disappointed when I started having backlight flickering and dimming issues and a cluster of dead pixels in the center of the screen. At this point I had been back and forth to Best Buy trying all these different TVs that I wasn’t happy with I was over it and I shelled out the extra money and got an LG OLED and I couldn’t be happier I did, I should have gone OLED in the first place. That’s just my experience so if anyone does decide to buy this tv I wish you luck and hope you don’t run into any issues bc if you don’t you will have a great looking 4K HDR TV

Tv seems nice so far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this TV for about a month now. The picture is good. The sound is a bit weak as the speakers are rear facing. I guess a sound bar is in order so the speakers will face front. I had an old Visio Plasma and the speakers were on the front. I used a sound bar on it and it made no difference. Seems all the new tv's are now going with rear facing speakers to make room for the larger displays. This model has built in chromecast which we use Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime TV. Seems a bit slow in navigation but gets the job done.

Great picture quality, mediocre sound
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this a few weeks ago and have been very happy with the picture quality. Great contrast, with bright whites and deep blacks, and really good motion smoothing with the 120hz refresh rate. The speakers are not good at all, however, so plan on buying a soundbar or surround sound system. Very midrangey without much bass or treble. My only complaint with this purchase was the customer service, which was horrendous. We bought this on an open box deal at a store 70 miles away because the price was so good, but after driving over an hour both ways to pick it up, we got back home and found out we were given the wrong model! Then we were told over the phone that we would have to return the TV back to the store 70 miles away, not our local store, and we would be given a "deal" on a lower model TV. Thankfully, I took it back to my local store anyway and was given a brand new set at the open-box price, so kudos to the local guys for making things right.

Pretty Good picture Quality
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a pretty good TV! The picture quality is good once you play around with the settings of your preference, as well as the interface which is very sleek and futuristic. To unlock its full potential, I'd say equip The Vizio P-Series with a fire stick or an apple TV 4k. The chrome cast is decent but the streaming quality (using Gigabit internet) seems a little dark IMO. Navigating chrome cast is a bit slower than the streaming devices mentioned above if you consider navigation speed as a factor.

Best VIZIO 4K TV I own
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my third VIZIO 4K TV, but the first P-series after buying two M-series. Colors are so clear and bright, wile the blacks are deep. I wish the Smartcast had more choices for built in apps, such as ESPN+ but you can cast any site from a laptop, tablet or smartphone
