Colors are popping bright and the black levels are nice and deep. Putting the local dimming on low provides the deep blacks and it's easy on the eyes and amazing especially for cinematic viewing.

This TV is great it has great picture and is easy to set up and use. The remote works great and easy to go from 1 device to another. Will have to see how it does long term, will try and remember to add to this review in a year lol.

I quite like this TV and its integration with my Amazon Echo. The colors and resolution are great. However, I find the juddering noticeable enough to be annoying, especially when I’m gaming on my PS4 or watching a slow, panning shot during a movie. I miss the keyboard on the remote control like my previous Vizio had, but the SmartCast app by Vizio basically makes up for that.

Clearly not going to get a picture quality similar to TV sets that cost 3 times more, but i am thoroughly impressed with the picture quality of this TV. Worth the money. Only downside is the processing power but, again, cant expect blazing fast speed like more expensive models. Really like the Google assistant integration.

I love this tv. Easy to use and set up, with a great picture. I also purchased the Visio sound bar to complete the setup. Really happy with my purchase so far.

Picture is nice, operating suite is slow to boot and respond. TV turns itself on randomly even after turning CEC function off as per the website. My TCL operates faster and doesn't turn itself on in middle of the night. Bought because of CNET review. Picture is good but it wakes me up night by turning on by itself.

Easy to set-up. The picture rivals a Sony XBR that we have which was the best I had seen previously but came at a huge cost. We needed a 55" replacement for a TV destroyed in a home move, and the sale at BB for this quality TV was impossible to turn down. The "Smart" element matches well with Cox cable. Very happy with the purchase and quick BB delivery. So far so good.

Its okay. Its for the basement game room so not my main TV but I can tell is a low/mid tier TV when compared to my Sony's. Main thing is motion. Its really not that great. Upscaling also isnt the best I've seen. Color is good on 4k/HDR but sports on streaming ehhh not so much.

Great tv picture and quality so far. Biggest complaint is the connection to the internet, It is slow and tedious. Sometimes has trouble connecting still and is slow when opening things.

This is a great looking tv with an impressive display for this price range. The color was a little intense right out of the box but with some basic color adjustments the picture is great and colors look accurate and punchy. The Vizio software is a little cumbersome and awkward to use, but there are SO many apps and features built into this tv. Would recommend to friends and family.

I have it connected to my XB1X and my gaming PC and it looks amazing. I had to adjust the tv settings because it kept turning itself on. Its really an amazing picture for a great price when on sale.

Best value TV of 2019!!! I took my time before choosing this M-558 Vizio UHD 4K TV, and I'm so very glad I did as some are not true TV`s in the traditional sense. This Vizio has better specifications than even the higher classified P series Vizios because of how deep & rich the Black presentations are (7000:1 on default setting and 9815:1 with local dimming set to high). This TV also has some of the very best specifications for Wide Color Gamut due primarily to how deep & dark sections of the picture can get (sorry I don't remember the specs exactly). I got mine for $598 tax included last summer and do not regret it :)

Ended up having to return the first TV I received due to issues with it turning on. The second TV I received was much better and worked properly. Picture quality is expected to come from a VIZIO. The only quirk this tv actually comes from the video cutting out occasionally which can become very annoying but other than that its a great tv

This is a great TV for what it costs. The specs, well the important specs on the TV rival some of the more expensive brands of the same size. The only downfall is the adjustability within the settings is somewhat limited. However, the picture with Dolby Vision looks amazing and the ability to upscale to 4K from 1080p is nice. Also the AirPlay 2 feature is easy to operate.

Bought this tv right before the Superbowl as it was on sale, for $480 this tv has blown me away, crisp image, good sound, the interface is easy to use and understand. Couldn't be happier.

I typically buy top tier premium brands when it comes to HDTV's, OLED or Plasma since I'm very picky on seeing a high quality picture. However with this purchase it was for my son to use as a gaming HDTV and a secondary TV in another room and I couldn't justify the expense of a high end TV. I did a lot of research and determined the M-series Vizio should be perfect and it was important to buy 55" or larger for all the local dimming zones. Anyway, this TV exceeds my expectations for the price point and I highly recommend it. The brightness, colors, and deep blacks are excellent for an LCD. Low lag in game mode. It's also nice that Apple Airplay is built in.

The blacks are deep enough that it is hard to tell if the tv is on sometimes. Check out Rtings for an in depth look. Love this TV. Ps4 Pro/Amazon/Netflix HDR content looks fantastic.
