Colors are amazing and SmartCast is easy to use. This is the main TV and we have had no issues with the TV up to date. The first week the TV would turn itself on so we contacted Vizio support and they implemented a bug fix in their next software update soon after. Since then there have been no issues. I wish the preset app buttons on the remote could be assigned based on what I choose but I do use them for quick and easy access. This TV works with Alexa to turn on, adjust volume, and open apps. If there is more I haven’t used it. I haven’t experienced screen artifacts and the HDMI ports work perfectly.

Very very good tv for the price , pretty decent black level for a cheap tv , overall picture quality is good. Issue with the vizio app , its sluggish and takes time to load the content . I ended up using roku ultra to launch the content faster

Picture quality is excellent on vivid picture setting, others have no pop.Audio as expected on all new TV's, dialogue good on sports, news, and ads; difficult to understand movies and series. Responsive to inputs. TV's should have a Bluetooth transmitter, this one doesn't, don't know if others do. Overall pleased with purchase.

Good Picture, bad audio processing with ARC

TV has good picture quality. The build in smart tv features lag so I don't use it. However the build in chrome cast and Airplay TV functions do work well enough. My biggest issue with this TV is the build in arc feature introduces an audio delay with passing through Dobly Digtal. This isn't really an issue when using a video only device like my Nvidia sheild. But if you're using this on a game console and are using Game Mode you will will have a noticeable delay on when the picture shows up and when you hear the audio. The only way to fix the delay is by setting the audio to PCM. However this limits you to 2 channel audio. If you're purchasing this TV i recommending running audio through an AVR or directly through your sound bar instead of using the TV's built in ARC feature.

I bought this for my parents as a Christmas gift. It's a really solid mid-range TV, and if you aren't a videophile this is probably your best value available. The remote leaves a bit to be desired and the OS is hampered by lack of an app store (it comes pre-installed with the big ones like Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, etc.)

** The back of the TV smells of burnt plastic while running. ** Other cons: Sounds like a tin can. No motion smoothing (Clear Action just makes the screen flicker). Outdated remote. Outdated and sluggish smart tv software. The Good Great value. Great picture quality and colors. Modern edge-to-edge display design.

This is a great value for the picture and sound that you get. The setup was easy and the addition of a Vizio soundbar made it and even better experience.

No issues from the time I set it up, other than very randomly turning on by itself, until just recently when the picture turned from perfect to all red vertical lines. There was no indication that the screen was going bad. It just all of a sudden went out. This should not happen in only two years.

    Don't buy Vizio

I have had nothing but issues with this TV, connectivity issues, rebooting and turning off on its own, and now vertical lines that power cycling does not fix. It's just outside the extended warranty.

The picture quality is outstanding especially for the price. But the sound is awful. It sounds as if the speakers don’t have cutouts and the sound has to force its way through the body of the tv. Take the money you saved by buying this model over the LG or Samsung and buy a sound bar, you’re going to need it.

After doing my research and searching for the best price, it came down between the M-Series Quantum or the Samsung RU8000. I am happy to say it is a good thing I decided to keep $100 and went for this. The picture quality is amazing especially for my bedroom which has a tendency to be darker than the other rooms in my home. I was able to easily set up the TV with the Smartcast App and setup Homekit and Amazon Alexa with it. Now that I have been able to do that I was able to set up an Apple Shortcut automation to turn on the TV soon as I turn off my morning alarm. This TV rocks!

I am an engineer and love my tech, but I am also picky and love value per dollar. This TV has been a great value! Great colors, great 4k. If you want brighter HDR, you'll have to look somewhere else because this TV isn't up to 1000nits, but it is brighter than SDR and I think it's around 400nits. I don't use many of the built in features. I hook it up to my receiver and pipe everything through that and it has worked excellently. Only hiccup has been the CEC, but I don't love that anyway, so I turned it off because it was taking too much effort to get it to work how I wanted.

The Vizio 55" has been good so far. I purchased this TV as I returned a 65" because of space constraints. It's a good, not great picture as I'm a bit disappointed with it. I'm wondering if it's my cable as I also have a 50" that I got for Mom and the picture seems to be clearer

TV has a great picture and clear colors. Smart cast is an additional feature with freebies! Speakers are a little weak but if you have a sound bar or small space it’s not an issue. I would have given it 5 stars but it keeps powering on by itself. Not sure if this a hardware or software issue.
