I JUST bought this TV today for Black Friday. I kept the screen protector on, and here’s my full review: 1. SETUP: mediocre time, but quite simple. 2. PICTURE QUALITY: Amazing on the store’s display, pixely on your TV. Doubt the screen protector is the cause of this. 3. SOUND: It comes from the rear of the TV, so I recommend a sound bar at least. 4. APPS: has a good selection of pre-installed apps, but I don’t know how to install more apps on it yet. I just use my Firestick 4k, also purchased today on Black Friday. 5. REMOTE: Yes, it has numbers on it. I like the remote honestly. It also has app shortcut buttons. FUNCTION: I made a Vizio account and paired the SmartCast feature with my Google Nest Hub. I can say, “Hey Google, open Netflix on Hannah’s Vizio.” (Or whatever your TV’s name is) and it opened right up on my TV. SPEED: Mine is already starting to lag a bit. When I hit the home button, it is starting to take a few seconds for it to load the app icons on the home screen.

Great picture and sound, I love playing on Xbox and playstation 4pro, I tried very and 120 hz on 4k , still glitches but I knew that from doing research, 60 hz at 4k will suffice for now , I plugged my chrome cast tv and can't be any happier, can't wait for updates.

For the price you are paying, this TV is a great value. This is my first OLED and I am never buying another LED TV again. The deep blacks are just breathtaking. My only gripe with this TV is that there is some vertical banding, but the overall grey uniformity is great.

OLED is a big step up with the picture quality, deep blacks and brilliant contrast! Glad Vizio is making OLED TVs, this one is a great deal for its price. The processor is good enough to make everything super quick! Can’t wait to start using with next gen consoles for gaming

Great TV! If you're thinking about getting a good gaming TV or your first OLED, I highly reccomend. I've had this TV for approximately 1 month now. I love it. The Vizio smart cast features isn't the greatest but if you use your TV with your pc, Xbox, ps5, firestick, chrome cast, or Roku, then you won't really use the features anyway. My only real complaint is the ability to change your picture modes/tuning- fine tune the picture quality. It's possible but seems a little harder to do than I'd imagine it to be. Other than that, this is the best value OLED TV on the market.

HDMI issues still not fixed after recent update

Initially I really liked this TV. I have had the picture randomly cut off (Maybe it was a cable issue). I had originally hooked it up with a regular HDMI cable, but today I tried the new Ultra high speed cable made for the HDMI 2.1 interface. When I hooked it up to my PS5 the screen looked like static and wouldn’t do anything. I turned off the variable refresh rate and got the picture back. I have updated to the most recent firmware too. If you use a regular HDMI cable there aren’t any issues. This is why I originally didn’t have the HDMI issue like the other people. I’m hoping that maybe these issues are software related. For the past decade I have almost always had a Samsung. I was hoping that Vizio would be a good replacement since this OLED tv seemed like such a good deal. I think for the extra money I have went with the LG OLED.

First impressions: the TV is carefully packaged for shipment and it comes with everything you need. I planned to replace a 45" TV I had mounted using a Rocketfish RF-HTVMM170C mount. I followed the instructions on the Quick Start Guide: "If you are wall-mounting the TV without the stand, follow the instructions that came with your wall mount..." DO NOT DO THIS! Read the instructions all the way through for TV stand mounting and you will see that the instructions assume the "discreet compartment covers" are not in place and thus will allow you to see where the power and accessory cables run through this channel. If you do not connect the power and and HDMI2+ cables before connecting your bracket, in some cases - as in the case of the RF-HTVMM170C - you will not be able to remove the "discreet compartment covers" and not be able to attach the power cord and any additional HDMI cables (only 1 is exposed)., meaning you will have to take down the TV, remove the bracket from the TV, remove the covers, attached the cables, replace the covers, and mount the TV again, all requiring a second person. Once you get in mounted and turned on, the set-up process can be a little annoying. If you fail to complete the process all the way through to the end for any reason, it will revert back to the very start when you return. Twice while trying to connect to the internet, it "froze" and provided a n error message telling me I had to "reboot" the TV and so I followed the instructions to do this. I managed to connect on the third attempt. As with most TVs, there is no built-in antenna of any type, so if you want only local channels, you must use an external antenna. After connecting the TV to set-top box for my satellite service and the internet and setting up other services such as Amazon Prime and Netflix, I could begin to experience the picture. There is no doubt that the OLED picture is wonderful. It almost has a 3D quality to the resolution. The colors are warm and realistic. The sharpness depends on the source, of course, but is very good. The contrast is excellent and I appreciate the 120Hz refresh rate for action movies. I did not find the viewing angles to be particularly wider than most sets I have seen in this range. The speakers are a disappointment - very tinny. This TV definitely deserves external speakers, a sound bar at a minimum. Only this way can you appreciate the sound processor. Others features include built-in Chromecast which saves you some money as well as Apple Airplay version 2. Also, I tried out the Alexa integration. Overall, for the money, I would rate this an average set (I am influenced by all the Black Friday deals at the moment). The picture is great, the set-up process was a frustration given my existing Rocketfish bracket, the sound was average, the processor is very good, the extra features are very good, but the documentation is weak and leads me to believe that the support may not be very good, should I need it. IT appears to be a high quality build so I expect not to have to.

It is my first oled tv, and what attracted me on buying was the affordable price… The tv is overall good quality and I encountered a few issues: 1 - the color calibration is a bit difficult to execute to achieve the true potential of the tv, the presets are not optimal and if you don’t research for better settings you will not enjoy this tv as intended. 2 - the tv after hours being on, the image blackout with only sound available, the only way of getting the image on again is by disconnecting from power and connecting again, this is a known issue with vizio oleds. I am happy with the TV as an introduction to oled, but I would not buy another one to replace my other 65 inches TV, I will spend a bit more money and buy a LG or Sony oleds or even a Samsung or LG, mini leds.

I Got The 2.1 Ports Working With VRR for PS5!

Holy Cow this tv is gorgeous and I got it for a steal of a price! But aside from what we already know from other reviews, the biggest gripe I had was first not getting the ports to work straight out of the box. Please update and REBOOT the tv so the system actually registers the update, I’m on 5.10.15.5-4. I had to do this so once it’s done.... Go to YouTube and look up BCD UNIVERSE “How to enable HDMI 2.1 on PS5 or Xbox - he has both, watch which ever is specific to you - and he’ll guide you on how he (and I now) have 120Hz support working on the PS5! Once that’s squared away VRR is no issue! Swapping back and forth caused no glitches or errors! I hope this helps everyone!

Great detail/depth of picture quality. Low cost.. I got the sale price my $200 open box deal. Very easy set up. Good sound. If you don’t hang it and you use the included swanky modern base … it’s stable and looks great. Extremely thin TV.

First unit arrived with a white line down the middle. Second unit would turn green randomly. Power it off and back on and it would work fine for awhile. Tried with an xbox series x and had issues with VRR. Also when selecting picture settings for input it would not remember those settings, so I would have to put them in every time I changed input. When the TV works it has a beautiful display, but at the price I'm not willing to risk it. Hopefully vizio can fix the issues.

I researched this TV and all the reviews gave it glowing reviews. That's it. Once you actually order it. It's an absolute nightmare. Full of bugs. 3 service tickets with Vizio. It does not matter what cable you use or which 2.1 port you use. The TV loses signal all the time. The TV will sometimes show a black screen and other times it will show a distorted signal. Vizio support will tell you this is a known issue and they hope one day to release firmware to fix it. The solution provided by Vizio has been to perform hard resets on the television when this happens. Its been an ongoing issue since I purchased the television in May.

Bought this for black friday and it was an amazing deal. Beautiful picture quality for under $900. Stunning. Have used it for my nintendo switch as well and it runs beautifully at 1080p. Such a nice profile and works well with my Samsung 2.1 channel sound system.
