Purchased to upgrade bedroom tv and really wanted Dolby vision and HDR 10. Brightness on this panel is very low and turning it on right away I noticed the blurry and muddled picture along with the very dim display. Owned less than 24 hours and purchased a Sony Bravia instead. Spend a little extra and don’t get this tv. Trust me.

Dont bother--does not work with popular apps

The reason being is Vizio has built tvs that do not work with basic services--ie Xfinity--if you have TV from Xfinity you can NOT get the app from Vizio. Why is that? You should be able to load ANY application you want--yet not so with Vizio. Same thing with trying to add a Roku sound bar. Vizio system keeps dropping and screen goes blank. This is the 2nd (and last) vizio Ill ever buy. Last one would not work with Dish TV. Instead buy any other brand--avoid Vizio

I also hated how it tried to force me to connect to the internet (you can bypass it if you press menu or input mode, but still get asked from time to time) I ended up exchanging it for the LG UP7000 series blows the Vizio out of the water which is similarly priced.

Never had a problem before with Vizio, but this one wouldn’t stay on one input, wouldn’t allow you to turn it off but turned itself off randomly. Vizio service was excellent and got someone out to replace two different boards in the tv and it works fine now. Overall though, I really don’t think having to replace parts on a brand new tv is great! I did find out that Vizio backs up their warranty but would prefer to not have had to put that to the test which is why I put this in the middle.

Truly a “Best Buy”

The built in streaming channels functioned more quickly than my add on dongle used on my previous ancient Vizio. Set up was a breeze. It even was compatible with my old Vizio sound bar. After adjusting the brightness and lip sync, it was great.
