While it did work, the Chromecast functionality is horrible. It doesn't work half the time while trying to cast content.

I'll be closing my best buy account and do business elsewhere

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the M series but had to return due to antenna signal strength showing low values on my NBC station. All other Vizio showed 100. I use antenna for local channels. The tuner model in the M series was Si2159 and that had signal strength showing between 10 and 20. I have a 2018 Vizio with Si2151 tuner model showing 100 on the same channel. I replaced the M series and downgraded to this TV. It had the Si2151 tuner model and it showed 100 on the same channel. Could not believe different tuner model would affect signal strength. Even though the picture doesn't pop like the M series, I felt having a good antenna signal was important. Plus at under $400 for a 58 inch 4K TV was a good deal. Maybe in a couple years, I'll be able to afford a better TV but I hope they do a better job at putting good tuners in the televisions.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i was so excited to choose Vizio over the other brands .. this is our 6th vizio tv, every room has a vizio tv ... on the box it says many different viewing platforms. having seen the other brands they all have app stores to get the apps you are paying for monthly...so i figured this was a standard ..... welll.... guess what ..... vizio does not play those reindeer games ... they made up their own set apps and thats all you get .... no disney.....no sling ....someone obviously dropped the ball there ......welll guess what kids ... unless vizio gets that corrected ... it will be no more vizio for this man...... Vizio please advise !!!!

We are continually evaluating new applications for addition to the SmartCast screen. In the meantime, you can cast any of the thousands of Chromecast enabled applications (Sling TV being one of them) or Airplay content to the television from your mobile device. You can view Disney+ on some VIZIO SmartCast TVs by 'Casting' the content from the Disney+ app on a compatible device. You can also use the AirPlay feature of your VIZIO TV with an iOS device running iOS12.3 or later or a Mac device running 10.14.5 or later.
