Upgraded from a 55 inch RCA LED which was showing some pixilation.
Fantastic picture and sound , from my Blu-Ray player. I have a sound bar which I recommend as the sound is not as robust from the TV speakers alone.
Easy to connect to my wi-fi.
Considering the Black Friday price we payed this TV is a no brainer, Love It.

Decent TV. Decent picture quality, not as good as Samsung or Sony, but not that bad either. Very good value for money.

Vizio Model Series 7 V585-H11 / 58" Purchased the TV on 2/13/21, it was installed on 2/16/21, and hooked to cable service. Picture was fine, everything was working. But on Friday evening 2/19/21 we turned on the TV and had no sound on any channel, within 3 to 4 minutes to picture also went away. The following day I spent over 3 hours on the tech chat line with Vizio to resolve the issue. The entire time their direction was to assume the cable signal was the blame, not the TV. Finally after 3 hours of swapping every cord, another cable box, HDMI cable all which were brand new cables, the tech determined is was the TV. The following day on a Sunday a supervisor called to inform me we missed one DVR device swap in the process, to test if it worked from the incoming signal. I had no DVR to swap, he suggested I try to borrow one from a neighbor as he could not proceed to repair the TV until this step was done. I told him to go pound sand in less kinder words, he refused to budge. My final words, I will return the Vizio back to Best Buy, and buy another brand. I will never buy a Vizio TV or other product, they went out of their way to avoid repair, putting all the burden on the customer. Their service commitment to the customer does not exist at a high level. I will never buy a Vizio product. The cable company stated there were no line feed problems into my home, two other TV's in other rooms were both operating fine with no problems via the cable feed.

Brand response from VIZIO

Hello AngrySteve, thank you for taking time to leave us your feedback. I understand your frustrations, sounds like you have taken a lot of time to get to this point. If other devices connected to a TV with HDMI connections are working properly but only one device connected with HDMI does not work, that helps us rule out any issues with the TV or that one device that is not working. From your review here it sounds like they have already tested alternate HDMI devices with you. In this case the importance of testing a second DVR box is not because of a possible line or feed issue, is because the cable box might not be able to complete what is called the "handshake" and are not communicating properly. This typically is an issue on the one HDMI device that does not work, so if we service the TV and not that HDMI device, the issue might still remain after the service if that HDMI device is not checked as well. We want to make sure to rule out all possibilities with troubleshooting and review all options to find a resolution for your situation. If you would like more assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us again by heading over to support.VIZIO.com and clicking 'Contact Us'.

bought this for my mom as a late mother’s day present. needless to say it’s a very solid Tv. considering our TV was about 10 years years old, smart TVs had only been a thing for a couple of years. needless to say, going from a 41” 780p tv to a 58” 4k was a very pleasing upgrade. the colors and sharpness are beautiful and the tv is super thin compared to what we had before.

I was turned onto Vizio a few years ago by two friends who I consider extremely knowledgeable about technology and value. 3 Vizio TVs and a Soundbar later, I'm convinced. Watching football in 4k is like taking pictures in Portrait mode on your iPhone. The depth is unreal. My concern with this TV was the refresh rate but I have yet to notice any delay or deficiency. Highly recommend.

The sorriest piece of electronics purchased in the last decade. I’ve heard bad reviews on the brand loooong time ago and hoped, like many other cheaper quality manufacturers, that they’d have improved by now. I was wrong. Vizio is still poor quality. The 4K is equivalent to regular HD. Add a few more bucks and go Samsung if you can. I was being cheap this one time, a year and a half later the whole screen blew out on my 58” in the middle of a show. TV was mounted same day it was delivered and 100% remote operated. Bug free home. There’s no reason why the screen blew so early besides it being a cheap product and I wouldn’t recommend it past a college dorm room.
