Not bad at all for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace my mothers 60” Vizio M series that I handed down to her which died after 6 years of heavy use. Unfortunately they don’t make 60” anymore and the cabinet won’t fit a 65”. This was the biggest I could find that would fit. The price was cheap considering I probably paid around $1500 for the M it replaced and the picture quality is better. I did turn off the processing because it made the 1080p Apple TV look horrid so it’s something to consider if you are not using a 4K source. One huge pain point I will mention is that the TV keeps turning the built in speakers off. I’m not sure what’s causing this. HomeKit is set to turn the tv off when mom leaves the house so maybe it’s that? Mom just keeps telling me that the sound is off randomly and I have to go to audio setting and turn the speakers back on. There’s Auto, On, and Off and changing the setting to On did not fix the problem. CEC through the TV also means that the Vizio remote can control the Apple TV which is nice but maybe it is causing the speaker issue. The TV also needed to be rebooted once a couple days after using as the TV menus were working but it would not display picture content. It hasn’t happened again so I’m not too concerned about it.

Good, but may not last.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great picture, goot smart tv capabilities, but the screen went out after less than 20 months. Considering the extended warranty is $200 a year, and the tv was just over $400, stuck between the cost of the warranty and just forgoing it and replacing when it goes bad. The prior 1080 M model Visio lasted about 5 or 6 years before we had to replace it. Expect these thing to only last a couple years, unlike the old standard def tube tvs that lasted for 20 years or more in my experience. Its up to you to do the calculus whether the extended warranty is worth it or not, but it looks like you will be paying for a new TV every 2 years or less now one way or the other with the extended warranty costing just as much as just buying a new one.

Great TV for price!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is great! The set up was easy and the picture quality is great. We used it with our Amazon Firestick, but the interface that it comes with works well as well so we use both. I only wish it had sling tv app as well but there are plenty of apps. I only took away points because it seem like the navigate right button on any remote I use is slow to respond. I have a vizio sound bar so hooking it up was a breeze.

Great value tv
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up, I connected my ROKU and stream all my apps. Need a sound bar due to such a slim tv there is just not room to have good speakers in the case. Picture is good, not amazing but it is a 58 inch tv for under $400. You can't expect filet mignon on Mc Donald's big mac budget.

Great tv
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very excellent picture. Lots of Apps on the television. I seem to get more channels on this tv as opposed to my last tv using the same antenna. I don’t have cable and the tv is very crystal clear with the antenna. I also stream many things like HBO max Netflix Hulu and Apple TV. It also has its own streaming app with movies and such. Very impressed with this tv.

Review
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great tv for an even greater price ! I'm only having some small issues pertaining to the installed aps. The picture is beautiful & the sound is awesome too. But, the biggest star of my review is Val ! ( I hope that's her name) I'm referring to the young lady who was helping me with my purchase. The store was closing in about 4 minutes from the time I walked in the door, & this young lady salesperson was absolutely 100% professional, helpful & pleasant, though I'm sure she was more than ready to punch out. She obviously knows her job well ( and the items in the store too ) I'd be more than happy to have her as my employee !!! HEY BEST BUY GUYS ! ...... THIS GIRL DESERVES A RAISE !!!!

It was good while it lasted
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was great while it lasted. I bought this TV in December of 2020 and it died February, 2022. The screen just stopped working one day. Other then that the picture was great, easy to navigate and add apps. I would recommend with the added warranty insurance.

VIZIO 58” V-Series 4K SmartCast TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I unboxed the TV I found everything in place, meaning remote control with Duracell AAA batteries, owner’s manual and 2 leg stands. Overall, I found the TV was priced right and the value of this purchase really good. I did see some light color variations on the screen as I was watching a sport event, however, nothing a quick adjustment won’t fix. I am happy with my purchase and look forward to watching tons of movies on it!

Vizio
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV works great while it lasted, sound was good, picture was even better. We had it for a little over a year (just out of warranty, go figure) before it broke. We had a power surge, and it was plugged into a surge protector, but didn't flwork after. It would turn on with volume, but no screen, not even backlighting. Power cycling did not work unfortunately. Had to toss it.

New Porch TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is our 4th Vizio TV in our household. I have had this TV for just over a month and it has worked great. Easy to setup and easy to simulcast from my phone and/or iPad. So far, great TV for the price! Looks great out on my new back porch addition!

Just an ok tv for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great tv for the price picture is good and it has alot of apps to watch tv. First hd tv i bought was a vizio back in 06, and it still works so decided to buy this tv because i had no issues with the last one, until last week, one year later and it shows 7 to 10 lines going across the screen when purple and red colors show on screen maybe is defective good thing i bought the geek squad protection. Guess this is what you get for 350 bucks.

58 Inches for less than $400!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV because my older Vizio 55" was too heavy for mounting on a brick wall over my fireplace. Not only was this TV larger, but it was 40+ lbs lighter! And the price!!! Over $1200 less than my 55" cost (albeit many years ago!) The picture is great, the wifi appears to work great, and honestly we love it so far. The only possible negative is the sound. It isn't bad, its just not as full as my older TV's sound and I had a hard time with dialog - again though we're comparing to an early generation TV that had more hefty speakers built into an attached sound bar. I bought a $100 Vizio 2.1 sound bar and fixed that problem immediately.
