the smart cast does seem to have issues when it comes to loading, sometimes it can load right away and other times it will take almost a couple of times to load up. The sound and picture quality is really good, sound goes all the way up to 100 and let me tell you, it's LOUD. For the price, it's a decent television. Definitely recommend.

This TV is great for the screen size and the picture, however we bought ours April 2021 and have been fighting with a volume issue since July 2021 where the TV literally picks and chooses when it wants to allow you to have any volume at all (only fix for this issue aside from magically coming up with an additional $400-$600 to replace it, is to constantly master reset the entire TV by unplugging it for 60 seconds and plugging it back in again to power it back on, which can take anywhere from 30 to 10 repeats of this step). I would not recommend this TV to anyone!

Overall image quality is great! BUT APPLE TV 4K USERS BEWARE! the combo of apple tv + v series is bad. A lot of other users have reported screen flicker with Dolby vision and with HDR as well. Other than that tv is great!

Bought this for my parents for Christmas because they refused to upgrade their living room TV from a 42'' 1080p and I told my dad I would no longer watch sports with him on that TV when I've got a 65" 4k at home. So, this was the choice as he is opposed to TCLs. It's pretty good, I would hope it would be a bit better in some aspects but it is quite the upgrade from what they had.

This TV is less than three years old and the picture on the right-side began flicker in and out. Very hard to watch. Thought a TV should last longer than that.

This is not a great TV but it is a good TV, especially for what you pay for it. From the front, the colors are crisp. If you walk to the side they are a bit dull. A pleasant surprise is how well the interface works. The built in apps quickly load, and it does a good job with streaming wifi. Overall, if you are on a budget this TV is a good choice.

After three calls to the factory ("we need to do a factory reset") and two calls to Geek Squad ("we'll send you a new remote") I got a new motherboard installed. The tech folks were wonderful. I HATE the home screen. NON-STOP ads, something always moving. Evidently you are stuck with a built in license to give permission to view SmartCast for the life of this TV. I don't remember seeing this disclosed in the price of the TV or anywhere on the web page when you are about to purchase. Do I get a discount for this visual barrage? NO. BTW the audio sucks. I hooked mine up to a receiver and two Polk Audio speakers full time. Sounds way better than a wimpy sound bar.

Hello JimC, as televisions continue to have larger screens with thinner profiles and sleeker bezels, there is less room for large speakers. To help get the best audio quality out of your VIZIO televisions speakers, we’ve included settings like DTS Studio Sound to provide the highest performance possible, while maintaining the thin, sleek, bezel-less profile of your television. It is possible to toggle the Viewing Data options for the TV by going to Menu>Admin & Privacy, there you can disable that setting. The best way to view and edit the Terms & Conditions for the unit, would be to factory reset the TV. It will be the second to last slide, right after the option for channel scans during the initial setup immediately after the factory reset. If you’d like any help adjusting your audio settings or privacy settings feel free to contact VIZIO support at 844-254-8087. VIZIO

Excellent product. The Vizio remote is much more efficient than the recent 55' remote. It allows more options for the settings. Also has great features, which also allow me to sync with my reciever using only one remote. The price and the quality are exceptional.

This tv has bad sound and the SmartCast many times gets stuck loading and the only way it’ll work again is to unplug the tv and wait a bit then plug it back in.

Good price and good picture, but limited menu options. Boots faster than my old Vizio. Has one glitch that is VERY irritating. Sometimes the information looses the ability to scan the airwaves and supply station identification and programming information. When that happens I have to go to TVTV.US and look up what is on TV. The fix is to unplug the set and then hold the power button for a few seconds with it unplugged. After that the tuner picks up the program information again I have not connected this TV to a satellite dish not to a TV cable network. I only watch free TV. I do not support today's Hollywood trash.
