Posted .Hello L8dydred, this TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device. Within three weeks started having various problems with it, most annoying was the delayed volume change when pressing the button. However, I contacted vizio for troubleshooting and they were able to quickly resolve the problem.

Don't waste your money!

I would return this one (Had it 3 weeks) but they counted the time I had the first one as part of this purchase. Constantly crashes. Remote stops responding. Have to reboot a few times a week to keep it functioning. Will randomly switch to another channel. These TV's are crap! After seeing the first TV fail I purchased the 5 year warranty plan for it's replacement. All I get for the $79 that cost me was "Just reboot it". DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON VIZIO! They are the cheapest for a reason!
